1. This place is very shortly going to descend into Meltdown. Will be both funny and irritating.
2. Hmmm not good enough? Seen some of those names there? Just think its crazy not taking a player who can turn things around in an instant. May not fit into the well tried Trap system ... but does that system work all the time?
3. Suddenly got a new found liking for our national anthem. So happy Chelski won today and not them .....
4. Had a Heart attack the week before the Scum game in November 2010. My " On The Pitch " moment was the return at Portman Road Five months later. Certainly don''t begrudge Fabrice Muamba any moment in the public eye. He is a very lucky young man and he seems to appreciate that fact. His moment on the pitch tonight is a way to say thank you to the people who saved his life, and the two clubs involved.
5. Why do I ever see Lincoln Canary after a bad performance or if things are going wrong? Whats that word beginning with B again? ;)
6. Refused my cards too. Will see it eventually i expect.
7. Praying that Man Utd win the title this season. Man City are the epitomy of everything that is wrong with the modern game. Hope they crash and burn and implode in spectacular fashion. Likwise their forebears Chelsea and Blackburn. Can live with a certain amount of financial input ... but i despise teams buying success.
8.
Have to agree with the 1-5 at Ipswich. Can''t think anything will ever top that somehow.
Hard to believe anything will ever beat that result. Given the circumstances around the game. Personally it was a big moment for me. Missed the 4-1 due to having a heart attack 6 days earlier. Witnessing the 1-5 at Portman Road more than made up for it. Probably the best footballing memory i can remember.
9. Give Morison a break people. It is obvious to any trained medical professional that he is suffering from an extremely rare condition known as .... " Chris Martin Syndrome ". This is an unfortunate condition where a Norwich City Striker isn''t Grant Holt. The only known cures are either an extended loan spell or the extremely aggressive treatment of Playing The affected Striker in a strike partnership with Grant Holt.
10. Talking about the Wigan game i take it? Fúcknuts !!!
11. The booing should have been directed at our own pathetic fans. Once we had gone one up they sat back and expected Wigan to roll over. Until then it was quite noisy ... afterwards forget trying to create an atmosphere. Useless .... we were rubbish as fans today. Take it as a lesson learnt and start to support the team for 90 bloody minutes !!!!!!!
12. Thank you everyone for the replies to this thread. Plenty of thought provoking ideas ... especially the older chants. Seem to remember a chant sung to the tune of " I was born under a wandering star," always liked the thought of that, although the lyrics would have to be changed in these times [;)]. I understand The " Yellow Submarine " used to sung at Carrow Road years ago. I like it and sounds like a chant to get the crowd participating. Had a trawl around youtube however and came up with this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVpiYRH5rLw&feature=relatedOle ole ole ole ole ole olaOle ole ole ole ole ole olaWe are Norwich CityThe Yellow Army, The Yellow ArmyUnoriginal i know ... River Plate, Ascoli, Rapid Bucharest and Ajax sing it occasionally. But no team here ( to the best of my knowledge ) sing it. A few Irish teams have dabbled with it as far as i can make out. What does everyone think?
13. Good to see some replies [:)]Certainly think the Yellow Submarine tune has potential.
14.
Anyone wanting new original chants to this country should get on youtube and search for fans of German clubs.
Prefer the Japanese fans. Mad as chickens that go Moo [:S]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwst1r_pR4s&feature=fvsrHas to be seen to be believed, particularly about 2 minutes in.
15. So many times i have noticed chants mentioned on here being criticised.Rubbish .... Awful .... Unoriginal.Good job OTBC was introduced by 1902, would have had no chance today. Would get much of the same criticism.Anyone brave enough to dream up an original song is quickly shot down in flames rather than offered encouragement or constructive help. This has left me wondering ... if everything is so damn awful ... what kind of song or chant would everyone here like to start off? Or perhaps we should just re-cycle the same over and over again and not add to the songs that NCFC fans sing.Ideas?
16.
Although I can understand pilks cutting inside whilst Playing the diamond, Bennet wasn''t doing the same, he was playing as a wide winger when we had the ball... But pilks does this even when hoolahan doesn''t play, leaving the fullback no options and is no width. On the top of the Swansea midfield being the best yet, I''d agree, although I don''t particularly rate bennet... For me he''s too weak and over runs the ball to often.
Is this the same Bennett that has cropped up with a fistful of assists despite not having as much game time as some?
17. Afraid i didnt exactly cover myself in glory Saturday. After trying incessantly all match trying to get songs going and get behind the team in the normally noisy Snakepit, the red mist decended when the booing started. I would like to apologise to anyone i offended in that area. I am a passionate and noisy fan and was every bit as disappointed as anyone by the lack of a performance. The thing that disappointed me the most though was the behaviour of the people around me. It ranged from apathy to moaning to downright nastiness. Can''t wait for Sunday and sitting in my normal seat in the Snakepit, with the usual passionate and like minded fans around me. Its true there is the occasional moan, but always get behind the team for the duration of the match.
18. Rights or WrongsCould Haves and What IfsDoesn''t matter anymore. Its done and dusted. Time to move on.One thing that i am sure of however. I am a Norwich City fan. I don''t care if we play Fakenham Town, Manchester United or bloody Barcelona. I still want to win. Realistic? Of course not, but that won''t stop me from Supporting my team and always wishing for the best result for them [:)]
19.
awful awful chant. snakepit try and fail to get it going.
Thought it was pretty good myself. Shame that a lot of other clubs sing it now.Still you got to try and create an atmosphere ... if only to drown out all the tutting and moaning.I''m sure there will be a new chant along quite soon for everyone to hate [;)]
20.

Not really much point trying to argue as you have the moral high ground. Myself .... i prefer to find a little bit of sunshine in this bleak world. Have a bit of fun and look at life in a light-hearted manner. Guess i am in the minority. Oh well :)
Sorry Henry, don''t see an argument here mate, there''s nothing wrong with a bit of sunshine and having a bit of fun, but in my eyes and certainly in the eyes of the law this is not something to joke about...I''m sure Naughton himself wouldn''t want the ''support'' for what he has done and in fact the club could be cute here and Naughton could front any campaigns about road safety? Sorry but I don''t really see how morals are bought into it here, if you morally believe its ok to drive at 53 mph in a built up area then that''s up to you. Sorry to be a killjoy everyone but I don''t think we should ''support'' potentially life threatening actions...
Haven''t got the words to discuss this at this time on a Saturday morning.... thank you Amigo''s .... but as much as i agree with you on the road safety issue, poking fun at one of our own players will not necessarily turn him into an even greater risk to the general public. I would like to suggest that Naughton is not the first, nor will be the last young footballer to have these kind of problems. Hopefully this ban will bring him to his senses. Still like the song though ;)

22. Think a little bit of perspective is needed here. This is about a tongue in cheek song for one of our players, not a discussion about the rights and wrongs of speeding. Think a few people need to take a step back and recognise that. The OP perhaps could have used better language. There are certainly worse songs around the grounds, and far more morally objective. Lighten up everyone.
