Anyone happy for us to get beat by Preston today? Out of all the teams in contention of play off places I would much rather Preston was one of them. In fact I’d be happy to see Alex take his team to the prem ahead of any of the teams in with a chance.

I think you’re highlighting the relevance of this site nowadays Nutty, not particularly representative of our support. So far then we only have supporters on this thread who don’t boo and non attendees who would never boo. Too few knew who boo?

That goal is definitely up there with the best and i’m pretty certain that is the best home performance of the season. It was long overdue, and I’m so glad I had the patience to turn up again. I’m just not sure who to be thankful to, the manager for his tactics or the boo boys 😂

I’m not justifying anything. Perhaps you are reading what you want to read rather than what was written. I would like to take this opportunity to point out that fans at the game don’t tend to boo or even cheer or sing based on the half time statistics. It tends to be a little bit more spur of the moment.

I must admit I’m a little confused by some of the comments on this daft thread. I would suggest that the majority of any fan reaction during a game is not a pre planned thought process that has to be justified. It is more of a spontaneous reaction to what someone thinks they are seeing, sometimes in a split second.

I said it’s not my thing, I also said I wasn’t getting into the boo or not to boo debate. So what’s your beef with me? I also don’t really give too much of a flying eff you see kay how Titty must have felt at the time. I’m sure he could live with that, I doubt it would have had a lasting effect. What I could do though is certainly feel or sense the mood around the ground just prior to that moment then when it happened. If someone can’t, I do question if they were aware of how the game was being played, what the flow of the game was and what opportunity was being wasted.

I guess it’s down to what we think we saw and heard Nutty. At no time did I have the feeling it was Tettey being booed. My feeling (and I could be wrong, unlikely, but possible) is that it was not a player per se. It did not matter who passed the ball back. It was the action of going backwards that fans showed their displeasure. I took it as a clear sign to the manager and club that they had enough of that. If I am honest I can’t believe it hasn’t happened before now. One thing is for sure it cannot be proved either way if it had an impact but after that there is no doubt the attacking performance improved. Also, had it not been for that moment of genius from Murphy though, I’m pretty sure there would have been a chorus of boos at half time.

There is nothing interesting related to cricket or rugby

I’m not going to get into the whole booing debate, it has been done so many times. It’s not my thing. Sometimes I agree with the sentiment even if I wouldn’t boo and sometimes I disagree with the sentiment. One thing i am quite certain about though is the reaction from the fans yesterday was totally understandable. Whether people agree with it or not is one thing but if someone cannot understand why it happened, when it did and cannot realise that it was not just down to that moment in isolation but an accumulation of frustration over the whole season then you have to question whether that person has any idea of what they are watching and involved in.

I find it hard to find anything to like about him. It''s not many weeks ago that I think he said something like he would put up his and Daniel''s record for unearthing/playing young talent up against the best in the world.

Good comparison RogueB. I think Webber''s interview today was right up there with the worst ever. I really could not believe how bad it was.

Butler did say that Mello, so that will definitely need checking out.

I have found it difficult to remember how ineffectiveness he was compared to the rest of the competition in the team. I also found it difficult to guage because of the system we were playing.

He also said it was too early to talk about comings and goings because the play offs are still possible Wundaboy.
