Ipswich Kenny - Season 2
Northamptonncfc replied to SeedyMedia's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Are you Kenny and Glyn''s social worker? -
Can Holt cut it in the Prem?
Northamptonncfc replied to I am a Banana's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He''ll get goals alright, if I was centre back I''d hate to play against him. -
I think Ipswich will do well this year...
Northamptonncfc replied to LeJuge's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
They have made some great singings... The scum were a tad excited by the Chopra signing. To me he appears nothing more then a Jamie Cureton style striker, as in he has three clear cut chances on goal he''ll only put one of them away. Cardiff had a fairly decent midfield over the past few seasons to provide him with chances, this is the only club he has experienced some form of success with in my opinion. -
Terrible track sounds really badly made, I find the ''Who Are Ya'' part especially cringeworthy.

Swansea, Cardiff or Reading?
Northamptonncfc replied to ur just a man in a jacket's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Reading hopefully even though I dislike cheats like Ian Harte. The Cardiff and Swansea fans started playing the Welsh card on 606, how the FA shows favouritism towards English clubs, crying at slightest bit of banter thrown in their direction and acted like a group of victims in general. -
OT West Ham end of season dinner fight!
Northamptonncfc replied to Excited Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
What a complete load of mugs, paying £275 to sit and eat with a group of overpaid ego''s who got their team relegated. -
England to Pull out of FIFA? - slightly OT
Northamptonncfc replied to NWC's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
In fairness someone needs to stand up to FIFA they''re an absolute disgrace, the sooner it''s rid of corrupt dinosaurs like Blatter & co the better. I''m quite sure we''re not the only country who has issues with FIFA, I think Italy had a fall out with them not too long ago. -
New intro music?
Northamptonncfc replied to Patches OHoolahan's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
its gotta be Leftfield''s Planet phat (of Guiness ad fame for the oldies/non dance music folks out there) It would scare the life out of the opposition (and most of the Jarrold and N&P stands to boot. tick follow tock indeed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyBQKaaDWTs&feature=related
Great choice, you could always liven them up in the Jarrold and River End, by just putting a bit a plant food in their cocoa. -
Lansbury caught speeding ...
Northamptonncfc replied to Lets be aving you!'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
... in Suffolk, according to the Evening News. Obviously trying to get out of the place: "One of the stars of Norwich City’s promotion campaign been spared a driving ban after he was caught speeding at more than 100mph. Midfielder Henri Lansbury, who helped the Canaries secure promotion to the Premier League, was clocked speeding in Suffolk."
He was probably being chased by pitch fork welding mob, they probably thought the car was a steel dragon or something, remember they still use horse and carts in the land that time forgot. -
Wes overlooked again!
Northamptonncfc replied to Balham Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He even played St Ledger in midfield a little while ago! There must be something sour behind the scenes. Trappatoni is by all means an excellent manager in the domestic leagues, but hasn''t set the world alight at an international level. -
As mentioned before the first eleven have a lot to offer still, I''d actually keep a lot of our players on the bench too. Cull off the squad players who aren''t getting the games and bring in some quality to create some fierce competition for places, it''s all about having strength in depth in any league.

Are we happy with Ruddy?
Northamptonncfc replied to DiscoDalesTatties's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yes his kept around 11 clean sheets or so. Not going to start pointing the finger at any player as they have been brilliant this season, but a lot of the 56 goals we''ve conceded have been down to sloppy marking and falling asleep when set pieces have been taken, there has only been half a dozen or so which Ruddy could of prevented. -
Sounds like we're going up as Champions
Northamptonncfc replied to The Fish Seller's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Not looking into this one too much, there has been some speculation about it, but are these the people who make the actual decision? -
A COMPLAINT TO NCFC...
Northamptonncfc replied to Alex Moss's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Already had a hangover from a weekend in Berlin, but ended up chain smoking instead, I don''t do nerves but last night took the pi$$. -
Silly season is starting
Northamptonncfc replied to dhickl's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No sightings at ASDA, mention of Ameobi or people having a close source at the club, I''m not having any of it. -
What's your fav canary call?
Northamptonncfc replied to Snakepit Lass's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Barry is my all time favourite. There was one caller after at Nottingham Forest away, who seemed to think Grant Holt had pulled every player to one side and had words with them, Chris Martin in particular. -
Colin's at it again
Northamptonncfc replied to Captain Holt's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Typical Warnock style mind games, must be feeling a bit insecure up there, the guys an absolute weapon nothing will ever change my opinion on him. -
The most annoying Championship manager?
Northamptonncfc replied to Canary1902's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Warnock, I haven''t seen any other manager cause a 30 man brawl in the technical area yet. -

Why is the crowd so quiet?
Northamptonncfc replied to DOGGER's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Any ideas?Wish i was there to get the crowd going, we need to lift the players!!!
One massive element which bollocks it up is the moaners and whingers, we have plenty of them just like every club. Some of them need to wind their necks in and have a reality check, if their expecting Roy of the Rovers miracles every game then fuck off and support Manchester United. Also as pointed out in this thread the reserved types who sit through the game like their watching the snooker. Some of us show our passion in different ways but get behind the team sitting there like a pseudo version of Steve Claridge solves nothing. It''s the negativity which fucks up the atmosphere at our club. They might not set the world alight at times but reserve judgement till the final whistle. -

Why should we be a nasty club
Northamptonncfc replied to Mr Jenkins's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I don''t think being overly nice will get you anywhere on a personal and business level you need to have a ruthless side, nobody likes a doormat. We need to have a bit of front to us sometimes something which makes Carrow Road a intimidating place to come to, I don''t mean having groups of 20 stone bald blokes terrifying pensioners like Leeds do, but an atmosphere a constant cauldron of noise.
