Hi Everyone I can''t tell you just how much all of your kind messages mean to the family and myself, you have all cheered me up so very much. I will beat this illness and like the idea of calling it Ipswich (meaning I know we can beat it). Once again thank you all, and as I am not up to making Saturdays game please make some extra noise for me, Love to you all

Three weeks ago I was rushed in to hospital and was told I had cancer. I have all but lost the ability to walk as the cancer is on the spine. My wife phoned the club to ask about changing my season to one in the disabled stand, which they said they would do no problem. They asked what was up with me and my wife explained all that had happend. Two days later a parcel arrived at mine and inside was a letter saying how sorry the club was to hear about my illness etc and wishing me well, plus a signed shirt. To me thats what our club is all about, what a lovely gesture that they didnt have to make. Cant imagine Man Utd or even Ipswich doing that. Thanks Norwich you cheered me up no end,
Embarrassing nonsense. Just comes across a man with far more ego than understanding. If he has any integrity he should do what he demanded of the former chairman and CEO and recognise he is not up to the job and resign. There were man enough to do so. Is he?
well said resign, you are an embarasment
Silly season happens every summer. Feel free to report or point me in the direction of any posts you think should be ditched.
Ginger Twins and pass it on to police football intelegence, see how hard they are then. Pathetic thugs -
Would we still be signing Lee if we''re bidding for Dickinson as well?
Think Derby have asked for too much for us to carry on with the pursuit of Dickinson

I think a few post on here that they also saw/spoke to him on Wednesday. Think he was catching up with people and he is in to that sort of show as well

Bookies seldom get it wrong, we are second favourites to go up, and I think we will. Leeds are the main threat if they can hold on to Delph & Beckford, which I don''t think they can -

I also think a few of you who slag him off should remember he can sit on his butt at Palarse and earn another 2 years money at a far higher wage than he is prepared to take with us. Also 2 or 3 Champ clubs want him but he wants to be here, thats what we have been missing for a while players who have a real desire to play for us -

Maybe thats why he didn''t sign on Wednesday as expected, we had lost Nelson somewhere! Still from what I could make out from him he seems to think any issues would be sorted today or by Monday at the latest -
Personally, I think that extension of the shirt sponsorship deal to 2012 was worth a press conference in the current financial climate. It helps give stability to the club in difficult times and may even free up some player money. I''d like to believe the bit about a delay on Lee and that he was at the show. Before the excitement builds up again, however, Gunny is now saying ''don''t expect any new signings until early next week at the soonest!
He was there, as i saw him and spoke to him, and i think others posted on here that they saw him at the show

Why do we have to bring the Scummer here at all .
because he wants to be here and would cause havoc to most league 1 defences
Only wants to be here because it suits his personal circumstances not because of any love for the club , you really think that somebody who said Ipswich meant nothing to him after how ever many seasons he was there has fallen in love with playing for City after half a dozen games ? wake up people , no wonder this clubs gone downhill . Oh and besides that hes pretty crap anyway .
And what happend to Hucks after a few games here....Fell in love with the club, ground, city and fans. Plus if i was treated the way Lee was treated by Ipswich I would not have any feelings for them either

Was caused because of the expected anouncement of Alan Lee signing. We had been in talks with Palarse and Lee for a number of days, but something came up at the last moment to cause a delay, don''t know what, but Lee was at the show yesterday. It is hoped to complete the deal today or Friday at the latest.
not yet he isn''t. can you see him getting paid any less than Doncaster? he was not head-hunted, he was on the rock and roll and now he gets..... £180,000 p.a.? anyone would make the right noises for a C.E.''s salary.
Right so you would go take a job at Asda when you could have one at Harrods?
