  1. Does this thread sum up how people are feeling about the team if we are discussing lowest points to stay in the prem! I feel a lot of nails will be chewed between now and the end of the season. Mostly Hughton and McNally''s ;)
  2. I want to defend Howson generally, as towards the end of last season he was looking good. However this season he hasn''t looked anywhere near where he was under lambert. Although a lot of players aren''t where they were performance wise this season under Hughton. Have to say I am not impressed with Bennett but playing with Barnett is a recipe for inviting defeat.
  3. I''m not bothered by going out the cup but I am bothered by the dismal performances, lack of creativity, lack of goals, inept tactics and the mark Hughton has on the players.
  4. City til I die - I''m not bothered by losing to Luton and being out of the cup but I am bothered by our inept performances and how poor we are of late. I am not convinced Hughton can turn this around, we heard CH say after the Liverpool debacle that won''t happen again and sure as the dust has settled the team put in another under performing display. He spends so much time on the training field but I think we are in decline. Getting the sack for one performance isn''t something that I advocate but did Mr Gunn get afforded a certain treatment ( not that I am saying we should reinstate him either) but Hughton has to stand by the teams results sooner or later and be juddged by them and the performances too. It is a results based business as well.
  5. No....... You get nothing for being 13th at this point of the season, the football is dire and passionless/negative and we don''t look like holding on to 13th with our performances so again pointless question even though I can see you''re trying to keep things calm.
  6. Last seasons team got us about 12th with 46 points....CH won''t get anywhere near that with his tactics
  7. Right now I''m at a cross roads whether Hughton is to be trusted spending large sums of money. We paid Birmingham good money to release him and not sure we''ve had good value for money!
  8. Hannibal - I couldn''t agree with you more. He has taken a team which had a few issues to one that is a total shambles. Have the players lost faith in him and his tactics?
  9. We have played different set ups with different players and had similar performances so the buck stops with Hughton. Yes the players are at fault but Hughton will come up with some lame excuse that it won''t happen again. In Hughton I do not trust!
  10. We show a lack of passion, don''t put our bodies on the line and don''t carry out supposedly what he instructs them to? We have put in such lethargic performances as of recently and I feel that confidence is so low and Hughton doesn''t inspire me when I hear him ( unlike the previous manager) Any thoughts....
  11. We had a poor result against Liverpool, Newcastle and west ham. We are not turning it on in the league either...it''s not a button you can turn on and off either!
  12. I don''t think the players are playing for Hughton anymore! We aren''t doing any of the basics and Hughton spends so much time on the training pitch. Best he keeps away!
  13. The worrying fact for me is that we haven''t scored in the last four games....time to do something.
  14. If he doesn''t want to answer those tweets he doesn''t have to, I suspect he receives a lot more questions than he replies to! Therefore I feel he may be cherry picking certain questions for his amusement. I feel some of the questions are from similar people who call canary all. Why wasn''t Croft playing today....he left at the start of the season! Classic
  15. Am not sure we are seriously interested in hooper, or graham as if I can''t see we would have signed both if they''d have both said yes. Don''t think hooper is great value for money when you consider the price Celtic want for him the standard of games they play now without the old firm games. In my opinion Celtic is made up of championship players with ledley, forster and the one from derby whose name escapes me. At least graham has scored at this level but don''t think we''ll get him either.
  16. Andy Linighan went to arsenal and wasn''t a regular but played in the cup final and scored the winner in the replay.
  17. I''d pay off my mortgage and then a few holidays, give my notice and put a bit in the bank! Probably a few cars and loose women (not the tv programme) lol
  18. dpit...if we won''t sign anyone for the sake of it what was the Harry Kane signing then? I think we are showing signs of losing our way somewhat, but all will be revealed come next thursday!
  19. I think if you look a bit deeper there seems to be a lack of confidence, this can be seen by hesitant and sometimes too late passing. To be a good passing team you need people to run into spaces and this lack of confidence alongside the rigid formation that CH has the team playing can''t help. Its hard to believe that we are playing some unattractive football under a manager who has spent so much time at Spurs who were considered like us to be a good passing team!!  The players seem like the current run is taking its toll, I also believe the way the team is set up will be up there amongst factors as we don''t seem to impose our game on teams and have gone back somewhat to ''little old Norwich'' glad to just be setting foot in the Premiership. I think its strange our good run did start when we started getting bookings and getting in the other teams faces, not the Hughton preferred style.Time will tell what will happen to our fate.
  20. Wings of a Sparrow - Totally agree with your points, its about time some of them realised the cost and time of supporting the NCFC. After a shambolic performance they should at most just tweeted a sorry of some sorts and left it at that. Before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, I''m not advocating that the players don''t go out but just keep it to themselves! I for one don''t have a problem with Durham having a pop at Holt.
  21. Durham and co play good cop and bad cop just to get a reaction from the listeners. If he is so great at footbsll why does nt he go improve the posh!!
  22. Well Herman if CH saw what worked and decided to totally ignore it more fool him and the board for bringing him in. Listen to football pundits who will tell you Swansea have become more attack minded whereas we have gone the other way. The only relevant statistic is how many points we get,Hughton has turned many of the players who got us into a comfortable mid table position look inept.
  23. I understand that people have a right to moan or keep quiet, I am more concerned that some people are prepared to rollover and take these inept performances with such negativity from a manager hell bent on being so negative. I''m not sure that the players have bought into CH negative tactics anymore and confidence is at rock bottom!
  24. The second season is not proving too much of a problem for Swansea that have also inherited a new manager. Hughton has turned an over achieving squad into an under performing squad playing some of the most boring football witnessed for some time. We go into games with such negativity I wouldn''t be surprised if the team do not buy into his philosophies any more as we seem to never to impose our style of play in any game.
