  1. I''m not advocating that Hughton should be sacked at present but he needs to know current performance/results are not acceptable. After all the media attention lambert has got, I''m not sure how Hughton has not had any comments thrown his way especially after the Luton debacle.
  2. Surfbird - how can you use that fact where they kept most of their premiership team. Most of us could have managed Newcastle in that league!
  3. How often did he play Kane when he was fit? Just for the record, Morison was not my cup of tea but he scored goals last season unlike Kane who Hughton brought in. I think Hughton is too cautious and it''s easy to say what he was going to do after the game, but the fact he brought kamara on for just 3 minutes suggests more of his usual way of playing.
  4. Beefy - I have to say that I love the people on here who think we can pluck our wins with such ease. I understand you have to remain positive but you can''t ignore the warning signs of 1 goal in 5 games either!
  5. I believe Hughton has a plan but far too often we have played some dire football and I can''t see that changing too much under him (Newcastle backs this up). I don''t believe Hughton has all the team behind him and his ultra defensive style of football either, have a look at Southampton where he has come in and got them playing very well! Why on earth he didn''t give kamara more than just 3 minutes does however show how negative and conservative he is. Last week samba hadn''t played for 5 weeks and still got through 90 minutes but Hughton uses the same excuse and we get the sat on the fence waffle from Hughton. As for getting injured, that could happen just as easy in training unless we don''t practice tackling in training either!
  6. Or was it Hughtons way of dropping him without getting any hassle!!
  7. Another team poor away from home come to Carrow road and leave with a share of the spoils, Hughton has turned a good team into a poor team. We may have got a point today but that was 2 lost imho!!
  8. Nuff said - Hughton hasn''t done any better than Lambert so I won''t give him any credit as our defensive record is no better than last season. If we go down and have made a go of things I''ll accept that, what I won''t accept is not giving it a good try. We don''t look like we know how to win a gamer anymore. 1 goal in 5 is a pathetic return and Hughton doesn''t seem to have any attacking adventure.
  9. Well having scored 1 goal in 5 games I feel Hughtons tactics are absolutely wrong. He has taken full circle from last season and play a total bland featurelss football game....pity our board don''t look at how Swansea replaced their manager! In Hughton I do NOT trust!!
  10. AG - have said we are not quick enough and we don''t tend to score many now by directly running at teams anymore.
  11. It was a good result considering they missed a penalty, but our inability showed again in hitting the net and hughtons cautioned approach to games.
  12. Aggy -  the point is we stayed up under Lambert and we did it quite comfortably for our first season. This season I am not sure whether we''ll stay up or not!
  13. It just shows to everyone how poor we are and it looks like we are the team getting dragged into it. In Hughton I don''t trust!
  14. Becchio should have come on around 70 minute stage....but Hughton too cautious as ever! He won more in the air in his 9 minutes than holt did in his 95 minutes.
  15. He has had a mare and looked like a rabbit in the headlights. Have to say Bassong hasn''t helped him today!
  16. So is a point better than a win for turning around the downwards free fall that we are in? We are being dragged more and more into this scrap because of our poor form in front of goal.
  17. Ricardo - agree with both points but feel we have gone backwards from last season. If we stay up or go down it will be a bumpy ride til the end of the season either way whereas last season we were home and dry with a bit of time to spare.
  18. Where is this scouting system we have in place, if we have only Davies to go after for a c/b then I think it''s time to looking at what Chester and his team deliver. I can understand that Davies may have been a little cheaper because of BIrminghams financial plight but again we seem to have no option B,C or or D.
  19. City 2nd - have to agree with your sentiments and expect flack for criticisng NCFC. In two transfer windows we have acquired Kane, kamara and becchio in the striking department.
  20. Is that like the 2 points we''ve picked up in 24 recently....if only football was about picking your wins.
  21. A championship striker along with an unknown quantity and to go along with Kane??
  22. Last window we got Kane, this time around we got becchio and kamara. Not convinced by it but will wait and see. If we go down so be it...
  23. Think that might me Harrison''s old shirt ( glad to see he is better now)!
  24. Hard work alone will not keep us in this league, we showed last night we have no cutting edge in the final third and a lack of creativity going forward. The game was there for the taking last night and we bottled it, why we score so few goals is down to Hughton.Lets be honest too, after the gutless performances against Liverpool and Luton the least they had to do was work hard.
