  2. Bristol Canary, here''s a possible signing  for you Mark Bosnich recently had lunch with Ian Crook in Sydney, link attached.http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,25578421-5006068,00.html
  3. Nu Matik , the guy supplying the cross for the goal against Uzbechistan and against South Africa is Marco (Mark Bresciano) plays for Palermo, almost signed for Manchester City last year but Palermo wouldn''t release him, probably the best player the other night.I know Josh Kennedy''s scoring record in German football isn''t great but I honestly think he is better that record suggests. Also scored against the Netherlands last year when Australia caused an upset over there last year. We''ll probably find out next season when he changes clubs if that''s the case or not. He is reported to be very interested in moving to England where you would think he would be suited with his heading ability.
  4. Josh Kennedy, wants to leave Germany and play in England, one of the best with his head  I''ve seen, scored last night for Australia in World Cup qualifier, see links below.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWHRiCwm_U4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_zuF2x-lGg
  5. David Carney has been left out of final 18 for World cup qualifier against Uzbechistan.Currently 0-0.Link below if anyone interested. http://www.justin.tv/vip_football
  6. he also scored a great when Australia played Nigeria in a friendly in London, link attached.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj0QyNQYH1A
  7. I agree that David Carney should be given a chance against Coventry, here''s a link to a great goal he scored for Australia in a friendly against Nigeria in London.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj0QyNQYH1A
  8.  AJ- I can see that it''s not easy  to convince you regarding David Carney, the key  I think is Ian Crook who was the assistant manager when Carney was at Sydney convincing the manager here to give him a go. I''m not giving up, here''s another link to a goal Carney scored that wasn''t a tapin for Australia v Nigeria in London November 2007.He was named by Australian Four Four Two the national teams player of the season for 2007-8 ahead of players like Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka,Lucas Neill & Tim Cahill. The reason for him not playing at Sheffield United under Kevin Blackwell was that he had a massive difference of opinion with Blackwell about the type of football that should be played. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj0QyNQYH1A
  9. On the subject of David Carney I definitely think he could be the missing piece of the puzzle that the Canaries are searching for. He''s very attack minded, notice that he''s been criticized a few times here  for hogging the ball, but I think especially in a wide player you need someone who''s prepare to try to chance his arm & try to beat his opposite  number.I can tell you that in the games I''ve watched him play for Australia, which is quite a few,  he has a good passing game as well when that''s required.I have attached a link to a  montage taken when he was playing in Australia for Sydney FC, I know there''s a few missed shots & tackles in there but what I think it shows clearly and what I enjoyed when he was playing locally is that he''s prepared to try things to beat his man.Given the chance I believe he could turn into a crowd favourite at Norwich City. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvrkuL-YP5Q
  10. Hopefully there''s a hyperlink this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj0QyNQYH1A
  11. He played in the reserves match during the week. I''d be interested to know if he was available for selection for this game, he was on the official website talking about wanting to do well here so it''s a bit strange that he wasn''t in the squad.Hopefully he''ll get an opportunity soon. Here''s a link to a goal he scored for Australia  in a friendly versus Nigeria in London http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj0QyNQYH1A
