  1. Hi, I live on the Harringay Ladder, about 1.5 miles from the ground. All resident parking around us is until 6pm and you can then jump on an easy bus. Also great Turkish restaurants for after the game! PS I’m interested if anyone has a ticket!!
  2. I’m London based but never done the capital canaries. I really should but now a new born at home. Hope everyone has a great time.
  3. I’ll go hunt it down later but i thought it was that he had helped to ‘close’ a deal by talking to the player in question. I could be wrong
  4. Sorry if posted before but did anyone else note the comment on the Pinkun podcast about Jeremy Goss coming in to give a presentation to ‘close’ a new player signing? An interesting snippet of the lengths needed to achieve transfers.
  5. Some interesting snippets here. Very positive on our style of play and improvement after more time to settle into the system. https://www.villatalk.com/topic/18124-ratings-reactions-norwich-v-villa/
  6. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-19700357-detail/story.html#axzz2cmtxN8xR I think Bruce has just gone up in my estimation. Especially at the end of the article where he creditis Norwich with his first big chance in football.
  7. Now I see what you''re saying but I think Hoolahan can still do a job in the right games and right system. But mostly I get a buzz that we still have a couple of players that have been here for the whole ride from Lg1 to 2x successful seasons in the prem. We''re down to Martin and Hoolahan now....
  8. Hi all, didn''t see a post on this but apologies if a re-post. Thought I''d share the following rubbish from Caughtoffside / Star... "West Brom are reportedly lining up moves for Norwich City midfield pair Robert Snodgrass and Wes Hoolahan, according to the Express and Star. Baggies manager Steve Clarke is eager to bolster his midfield this summer with more creative players to help make his side more efficient this season, following the loss of Romelu Lukaku who has returned to parent club Chelsea. Following an influx of new faces at Carrow Road, it’s rumoured that both Hoolahan and Snodgrass are available at the right price. Snodgrass, who has been linked with a move away already this summer, played an integral part in Norwich’s success last season, scoring the most direct freekicks in the Premier League, he was a perennial threat from set-pieces. Hoolahan also played a key role, but has fallen further down the Norwich pecking order this season."
  9. I wonder what the Sevilla fans think of the £66m earned and nothing spent for the transfer window....
  10. Well I found this interesting... http://www.theguardian.com/football/interactive/2013/aug/16/premier-league-transfer-window-interactive
  11. A bit like your first love I''d say you always have a soft spot for those players from when you were growing up. So i''d have to say Eadie although I also remember hoping both he and Keith O''Neil would finally both be fit and playing in the same team. Of course singing Iwan Roberts to feed off the service was just magic. Mind you, we all know how that turned out in the first season!
  12. Hi all, I found this an interesting post and comments from West Ham fans. http://foreverwestham.com/2013/07/blog-topics/can-west-ham-learn-a-few-things-from-norwich-city/comment-page-1#comments Seem a sensible lot but I did raise an eyebrow at the post saying West Ham are ''on a completely different level to Norwich''..... I''d love to know why they think so!
  13. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/the-only-way-is-down-for-queens-park-rangers-8591332.html Apologies if this is a re-post as the article is from a number of weeks ago. I don''t think they''re quite right on our debt position (yet) but the general gist is right. Makes me glad to be a Norwich fan. If I was a QPR supporter reading that I''d just get angry.
