I agree mate, you get more excitement and get more involved at the game but you certainly get more of a tactical overview watching on TV, I didn’t even realise their player was obstructing Krul for their disallowed goal until I saw the replay online!

Coventry Fans Are Confident

He looked a real handful for Max when he came on. -
I reckon he will be easy to spot, he won’t have any neighbours……

Well I went and I thought he was excellent in the first half, yes he faded in the second but so did a few others, is my opinion more valid because I went than if I watched it on a screen with the benefit of replays etc?

It didn’t upset me at all as I don’t read about Chelsea, but people on here were quoting Chelsea fans moaning and MOTD waxed lyrical over him for no apparent reason. Although I do get your point about the media, click bait rules…..
-
Whilst I don’t condone how he was treated, I think it may have put peoples backs up when the media were bigging him up and Chelsea fans were all slating us for ruining him saying he was too good for us, he may turn out to be a great player who has a top career but I didn’t see enough from him to justify all the praise he was heaped with last season.

It certainly looks like we are trying to contain teams and wear them down before bringing on Pukki/Cantwell etc, like I said I hope this tactic isn’t the default as it’s no fun to watch but it has got us 6 points out of 6. -

I understand your point, I guess we’re just hoping that we can get promoted and do ‘a Palace’ not a very inspiring ambition I know. With the potential of the US investors this could be more likely though within the next couple of seasons. -

It’s hardly lucky then is it? The point of my post was to point out that being able to use 5 subs in an effective, game changing way is not luck, his starting line up was surprising given the performance in the last game but for the second game in a row we’ve snatched an away win due to impact subs. I hope this isn’t his strategy for the whole season as I’d rather we were out of sight in games before the 70th minute. I remain to be convinced by Smith and I’m not engaged with him to the degree I was with Farke but even his critics should be able to see he has a clear game plan, and plan B. -

Lucky? Why didn’t he know we could use 5 and it came as a surprise for him? Maybe he factored that in to his starting line up and timed substitutions accordingly. I really can’t see how knowing a rule introduced at the start of the season is luck. -
I don’t think so, every time I’ve tried it’s just music, I think it’s only available in the normal coverage area not on the internet.

I see Millwall fans enjoyed the match

Throwing seats and kicking off in the away end, no change, no change…… -
Not by you no, but some others maybe………
