At school we teach the kids to think, say, write, check and correct their work. I have no problem with you saying what you think, but as soon as you decide to put it in an email or letter and send it to someone, at least read it through to check that you have used some punctuation and capital letters. It makes it so much easier for the reader to make sense of your rapier wit and sarcastic genius.

Being the spelling police is often the first sign of a lost argument. We all find our work difficult at times. If it was easy they wouldn''t pay us for it. If your posts are a sarcastic dig at school closures then I would let you know that most schools make the decision to close in adverse weather conditions because they are terrified of litigation should any of your darlings fall and hurt themselves on school premises. Most parents are complaining about the school closures round here because it means that they actually have to look after their own kids for a change and cant spend the day in the pub and shop lifting.
