1. Fully agree with you, Hucks, took the words off my mouth. Not a great manager, that''s for sure, but a nice guy and a good talent scout though.
2. Fully agree with you, Hucks, took the words off my mouth.
3. Thank you for all the posters 4 this beautiful thread that has become a sort of Norwich Encyclopaedia.
4. Fully agree with you Cambridge Canary, I missed a positive post like yours. I have just spent more than a season ticket only to make a trip to Norwich and to visit Carrow Road, courtesy of the club. I love this club, I don''t think that the game is already over and in any case I''ll continue to follow the Canaries in the League One, in the good and in the bad fortune.
5. The old farm is an expression entered in the common language. It''s also the title of a nice book by Rob Hadgraft: http://www.footballderbies.com/reviews/review.php?rid=23
6. The thing that more hit me today (after the result in itself), is the joy that Alan Lee showed after the Doc''s goal: http://www.pinkun.com/content/ncfc/story.aspx?brand=PINKUNOnline&category=Norwich&tBrand=PinkUnOnline&tCategory=Norwich&itemid=NOED13%20Apr%202009%2016%3A05%3A26%3A387. He maybe an ex ipswich, and an on-loan player, but he''s showing great committment to the club. Fair play to him.
7.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfSkJM3vj9EOstemobor lol.
Great mate, thank you for sharing!
8. Shack was superbe, but Clingan as well (at least in the 2008 year).
9.
"Hi Glenn.. I hear Magiltons job is on the line at Ipswich. When he goes I think you should apply."
Nice touch, mate!
10. In the offciial club''s website, supporters club section, there is the e-mail account to which you have to address your request. In my experience every one at the club was kind and helpful and helped us to set up the Italian fans club, so no doubt that they will make the same for you. All the best, mate!
11. Although it''s strange, I can''t help but like the kit that recalls me "that" goal of Jeremy Goss to Bayern Munich, and "that" game at San Siro....
12.
Depends what yr bag is watering hole-wise..if you like you like it cheapish and enjoy the budget/alcopop side of things try on the riverside complex,  as there are wetherspoons ''lloyds#1'' and ''Norwegian Blue''  pretty close to the ground... but if you like a decent pub, with loads of city fans try the ''coach and horses'' on Yarmouth Road about 5/10 mins walk from ground.
Thank you, mate, I''ll be in Norwich next Monday and Tuesday, and I''ll surely try the Coach and Horses. Unfortunately, due to my job I''ll be engaged till Saturday this week and so I can''t arrive in time for the game, but the great  Jeremy Goss is so kind and helpful that he''ll make us to make a brief visit to Carrow Road on Tuesday...
13. I didn''t expect to see that The canaries had so many fans alla round the world! The Norwich based life-long supporters should be proud of this, and the foreign fans should be proud to have chosen a small, nice, familiar, traditional club instead of one of the top teams, thus showing to be really passionate and not glory-hunters supporters.
14. I live very close to Venice. I have to admit that when I go to run on the river banks or to play five-a-side football with one of my Norwich kits, people look at me as if I was an extraterrestrial. But I feel like  a missionary, having  made a group of  fellow-citizens and fellow country-men to discover the faith for the Canaries...
15.
Of course it''s possibble to support two teams. As long as they don''t clash. A bit like women really. I support Norwich, Hull City (used to be the poor club in Division 4!) & Bayer Leverkusen (knocked Man U out of the Champs League some seasons ago). Can''t bring myself to follow Sturm Graz yet though.
Agree. Of course the two clubs must not be rivals, or because belong to different countries (i.e.: Norwich and Barcelona), or because they have different dimensions (one could support Norwich and Cambridge, or York City, imo). If you aren''t born in Norfolk it''s almost natural to support also your local team.
16. Exactly, Gow doesn''t count: http://www.pinkun.com/content/ncfc/story.a...3A01%3A40%3A990
17. Or maybe the classic 4-4-2 with the pair Mooney and Lee upfront?
18. I could see the highlights only next Monday, can you anticipate to me if we played 4-3-3- or 4-5-1?
19. Fully agree with you, mates, decent player but above all nice guy and great professional.
20. Yes, you''re right, the today''s draw was so unexpected and important that I have considered it as a a win...
21. . . .one month ago we seemed condemned and then we won 4 out of 5 games? What''s happened? P.S. If I''m dreaming, please don''t wake me up.
22.

I''m still not sure, mate, I hope Watford or Reading. But I''m projecting to make a trip to Norwich in advance, on April 6, with other two members of our fansclub, just to visit the city and what will be an empty Carrow Road, if it''ll be possible (not found this option on the official site, though). P.S. Finally, I found trains that go from Stansted to Norwich via Cambridge on the site of the Cross Country Trains.
Aurelius, I assume you are flying Ryanair from Venise on the 6th of April arriving at 10:55 am ( prices are at the moment at 10 Euros incl of taxes). Unfortunately you will have to pay 3 times more for a return ticket to Norwich from Stansted. If you lucky enough and have not a delay then you can take the 11:25 via Cambridge arriving the fine city at 13:30. The next option is 12:25 via Ely arriving at 14:30 . Both just in time for a decent pint at the coach and horses outside the station. ( thorpe rd). Prices for train journey are £25.10 if you buy in advance. Its only £27 on the day. I suggest you look at www.travelodge.co.uk for a room in Norwich. Probably about £50 a night for a room for 3. Hope this is helpful Ciao,
Ciao!!!!! :-)Thank you very much, actually  I''ll arrive from London  where I''ll go to meet some friends of mine that work there.Anyhow, I jotted down the Coach and horses in Thorpe Rd, and I''m going to search an accomodation on the website that you have kindly pointed out.
