1. Playing well as we have been all season (Fulham aside) and once again it''s just not happening for us. I''m starting to get the feeling that despite having a decent team and a good proven manager it''s just not gonna be our year :/ Swarbrick is also a c**t and always has been to us!
2. I''d much rather Southampton stayed rooted to the bottom of the table to be honest, this win will give them confidence. Bad news for us imo
3.
Where do people get off on this board?!Firstly comparing Johnson to Holt is ridiculous....play completely different roles whilst both being branded a "striker".Johnson dived against us whilst at Palace...big deal. Who hasn''t conned a ref?A fit AJ alongside Holt would be a dream pairing up front..... a Jackson (pace wise), but with positioning, ability and finishing. The need to feel jealous of QPR is mind boggling. They are a small side, as are we. They are a family club, as are we. They get regular gates around 16,000-18,000 (as did we historically), but in a ridiculous catchment area for decent football clubs. There is very little difference between us in terms of success too....i mean lets face it, if we want to delve the stats then Ipswich are a far better club than us (and no i''m not a binner!).Growing up in Watford i used to get to two or three QPR games a season and they are still my 3rd side (City first, Watford 2nd) despite their new found wealth. I have to say every QPR fan ive talked to is a decent chat, level headed and wants football played the right way (as do we).Forget the Thetford mockney wannabee types who will give it the bug''un but have no idea who Gavin Peacock is, let alone anyone before him and Les!!Far far worse clubs, fans and people involved in the Premier league so lets not be worrying about QPR.Nani''s dive for example at the weekend was worse than AJ''s against us.
It''s not jealousy, I''d hate to be in their shoes right now. We all just want to see them fail because they embody everything that is wrong with football at the moment! Where far too much emphasis is placed on who owns the club (Who fuc*ing cares!! It''s football!) and money. Eventually it''ll all go tits up and they''ll sink down the divisions in financial turmoil just like Portsmouth. Good as well, should hopefully put off other clubs going down this route. I hate getting into the big club argument but to suggest that us and QPR are similar sized clubs is laughable! Let''s see how many fans QPR or Ipswich get regularly in the 3rd division with Championship ticket prices. Probably closer to 10''000 than our 23''000 I suspect.
4. I don''t think we can really say what our strategy is going to be this summer as it is so early. I''m delighted with how it''s going so far, our budget has barely been touched and we''ve got a decent defender who can cover a lot of positions and imo (as i''ve seen him play) a young intelligent attacking midfielder that looked better in the championship than Howson did from the games i''ve seen!
5. I think the plan is to increase to 35''000 with average attendances expected to be about 31-33''000 The difference between that and Villa''s is half that between us and Swansea who most people see as a similar sized club, it''s hardly a massive difference. as for laying budget, okay nobody really knows but villa aren''t flush with cash and we''ve been quoted as saying about 10 million more than last year so about £25 million which again can''t be that far off Villa''s. Squad? i''d say we''re 6/10 across the board where as Villa are mixed between 4-7/10 (In Prem terms) But that''s subjective so I take your point. Ignoring Villa for a bit though. I still fail to see why we''re known as minnows in this league. Certainly compared to the top clubs we are but against the likes of QPR/Wigan/Swansea we''re bigger and comparable to the likes of Fulham/WBA/ Stoke. Also if we do manage to continue progressing in this league (which I believe we certainly would''ve under Lambert) and do manage to improve the stadium we won''t be far of the likes of Villa.
6. Well we''re not according to this: http://www.emfootball.co.uk/attend.html All I ever hear in the media is how we''re such a small club in premier league terms, how MASSIVE the likes of Villa are compared to us, how our level should be Championship. 14th best supported club in the country only limited only by our capacity (13th in the PL). I also read somewhere else a few years ago we have the 17/18th biggest global fanbase in the country. we''re not completely skint either. Yeah maybe we haven''t won anything major back before a lot of our fan base was born, but it''s completely irrelevant now days, I''m sure the scums history is really comforting right now as they''re rotting in lower championship with massive debts a crap squad and a past it manager... I''m over the whole Lambert thing now and really looking forward to Hughton (most likely) taking over as I believe he is a great manager and exactly what we need right now. But in 2012 are Villa really that much bigger than us? 2 more years of prem football and we will rival their attendances and be in a really solid financial state. I just really don''t understand Lambert''s decision, Their playing budget is roughly the same, they have a weaker team, less support from the board a fickle fanbase etc The only thing they have over us is history and history is so massively important why aren''t the brightest young managers in the game chomping at the bit for the Leeds job, who on history, are a bigger club than both us and Villa...
7. i cant support man utd i hate them almost as much as i hate the scum and i hope they get slaughtered in the final
8. he''d be great but i wouldnt pay more than 180k for him, then again we probally couldnt even afford that
9. pull your head out of your arse you sad fu*ker. just because someone cant afford a season ticket doesnt make their views or opinion worthless you prick
10. i thought he was pretty * tbh apart from a few goals he seemed to look really awkward all the time, might be decent in league 1 though
11. what the hell happened to mulryne anyway, i remember him being a decent player but now hes at some non league club or something isnt he
12. same goes for me, i felt a little bit more optomistic after mumby and cockface quit but now im absolutly distrought
13. i couldnt afford one this year but as long as them useless tw4ts are still in charge im not going to a game. i dont blame gunn for us getting relegated but i do blame him for not stepping down he''s lost his legend status as far as im concerned
14. worst board at any club in football history by a f*ucking mile

16. arsenal until i was about 8 when i got my first season ticket at norwich. norwich will always be my first team nowdays eventhough i still like arsenal
17. i honestly wouldnt mind one season of it, provided we get a decent manager and the team is amde up of our players not loan signings, then yea i wouldnt mind as long as we get promoted one way or the other but to be honest i can only see us finishing between 8th-12th if gunn''s in charge
18. id go but ive got to  work, on a bank holiday f****** unbelieveable
19. lee and macdonald upfront will be awesome in league 1, i dont think it would take anymore than 250k to sign him and if we can get 1-1.5 mil for clingan we should be able to afford him
