1. No no no no NO... The blokes a scumbag, really would be the final straw that
 2.

Lets hope so he deserves it .
idiot, can''t believe people actually WANT gunn to fail it seems
seems loadsa people want gunn to fail just so they can say told u he was a bad manager, pathetic, he has my support as does the club because its wat a fan does is support its football club through the thick and the thin
We don''t need to say "i told you so", we already did this last season - when the pathetic excuse for a manager proved he is anything but. He was a legend and is now a w*nker, and I will be willing him to fail for the duration.
Some people really do need to open their eyes and grow up.. It seems like everyone just latches on to the first hate campain they can find. I dont want Gunn as manager but I hope he can turn it round. Let me put it this way, choose a scenario. A) Gunn learns from last seasons mistakes, assembles a good league 1 squad and gets us promoted 1st time of asking. (I cant see this happening but would love it to) B) Gunn doesnt learn from anything and we end up in another relegation battle, but at least you can say I told you so. Some people on here I honestly think would prefer B just so they can feed their attention seeking and over-inflated opinions of themselves.
 3.
We are now a league 1 side, who did you expect for manager, we are hardly likely to attract a top flight manager.  Who would come to us and work under Smith. They will be given little or no money can not expect a good salary and have inherited a terrible team   I think we could have done a lot worse than the current trio and that we must put our weight behind them.    OTBC   St.John
To be fair I dont think anyone expected a top flight manager. People were just hoping the board would''ve learnt from their mistakes when it comes to appointing managers with little experience.
 4.
OK, I know nothing.  Nothing at all. Its perfectly fine to have an opnion, I''m just saying that if someone actually believes that NCFC is on its way to Non-League football, then I think that person has lost perspective.  Also, to call the Gunny appointment spiteful is just plain wrong.  Spiteful to whom, and for what reason?  Thats what I was saying.  My geography shouldn''t matter in terms of my opinion, as I''m sure you know everything there is to know about the club because of your postcode. Idiot tool.
Ignore them NYC.. Complete over-reation to some gutting news..
 5.
nice one crofty show a bit of loyalty to the fans who have treated you so well and helped to award you with player of the season. fcuk you un loyal money grabbing b**tard i hope you break both legs and have to retire from the game. judas scum
And over-reaction of the year award goes to.... and its disloyal [;)]
 6. Well... Todays turning out well.. To be fair I''m not that worried about Croft.. Just sh*t timing I guess..
 7. Inevitable is the word that springs to mind.. I hope Gunn can do a good job next season I really do.. But somehow I doubt it [:(]
 8. I know.. Work PC has no sound card.. I''m refreshing every 10 seconds lol
 9.
Could be wrong, but I have just heard from someone who works at the club. Bryan Gunn being unveiled.
And theres the let-down
 10. I get a bad feeling this is going to be another let down you know [:(]
 11.
The long awaited comeback of Dr. Bunsen is possibly on the cards. Stay tuned...
Thats got to be what the press conference is about.. Bunson for Chief Exec!!!
 12. I know George through a couple of xpert eleven leagues and I''m pretty sure he''s not the kind to make it up
 13.

This gem from the person who got "Cullen" mixed up with "Cullum" - a right NCFC expert we have here....
I have heard that Our friendlys with Man u and Wigan, are a attempt to settle the fans and it smells like Gunn will be in charge!!! Watch this space!

Ace you tool, it really isnt hard to do the maths!!! come on motor mouth explain whats wrong with this one!!!   Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh hang on!!!   Muppet!
Ok... I''ll bite... However stupid the board may be, I''m pretty sure they have not set up friendlies with Man Utd reserves and Wigan as a way of "settling the fans". Gunn has contacts with Ferguson and Bruce but this proves nothing in my opinion. Just a standard couple of friendly fixtures coupled with another assumption.
 14.

we''ve just been relegated, you surely don''t expect everybody to stay
why not???? they got us into this mess show some balls and stay and get us out of it...and as for players saying "i dont want to play in league 1" they should of put more effort in when we were in the championship....feck it gets me mad[:@]
Morally your thinking is right alot of modern day footballers dont care about anyone but themselves I''m afraid.
 15. The reason the players will leave on the cheap is because they aren''t actually very good.. We paid 1 million for a goalkeeper with little experience. 2 years older, relegation from the championship and a few howlers down the line his value will have naturally dropped. Of course as a championship side we probably could have held out for a better price, but relegated to league one teams will know we are desperate to get the high wage earners out of the door ASAP and of course will exploit that. The only way we will get a decent price for any of the players who leave will be if a few clubs are interested and spark a bit of a "bidding war" but I think the only player who that could happen with is Sammy Clingan.
 16. Unforunately in our current predicament we''re unlikely to get any more for him. Probably a high wage earner, always going to be one of the first out of the door. Cant say I''m going to lose any sleep over it.
 17.

Mr Bruce has resigned for our Ipswich friends - wasn''t Mr Roeder after him at some point on the basis he could acquire him for nothing this summer? Regards, Henry
Not according to this? http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1794_5313713,00.html
According to their official site he has. Would never have been interested in joining us anyway I''m afraid. Shame as he''s a handy player www.itfc.co.uk
 18.

Out of your list, I would just take Edworthy and Lee
You wouldnt take Billy Clarke? Billy Clarke Personal information Full name William Charles Clarke Date of birth 13 December 1987 (1987-12-13) (age 21) Place of birth    Cork, Ireland Height 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) Playing position Forward Senior career1 Years Club App (Gls)* 2005–2009 2006 2008 2008 2009 2009 Ipswich Town → Colchester United (loan) → Falkirk (loan) → Darlington (loan) → Northampton Town (loan) → Brentford (loan) 49 (3) 06 (0) 08 (1) 20 (9) 05 (3) 08 (5)    National team2 2007– Republic of Ireland U21 11 (2)   18 league goals in 41 this year.   As opposed to Chris Martin:- Chris Martin Personal information Full name Christopher Hugh Martin Date of birth November 4, 1988 (1988-11-04) (age 20) Place of birth    Norwich, England Height 5ft 10in Playing position Striker Club information Current club Norwich City Number 35 Senior career1 Years Club App (Gls)* 2006- 2008-2009 Norwich City → Luton Town (loan) 25 0(4) 40 (11)      Each to their own, but I would take him in a shot!
To be fair Chris Martin spent alot of time at Luton playing on the right wing so the comparison isn''t entirely fair however I do agree he would be a good signing on a free.
 19. Would take Lee and Clarke any day but not Miller I''m afraid. Very over-rated and not thought of very highly by many Ipswich fans.. Takes a good penalty but has very little impact in games. Besides we cant end up with too many ex-binners [:P]
 20. Hopefully he will have matured during his spell at in the lower leagues and has been bought down a peg or two. By all accounts he was rated highly by the Luton fans and hopefully can now push on and score a bundle in league one for us next season.
 21. Oh dear Mr Clough.. Your Father will be turning in his grave at this signing..
