  1. But as the Martin O''Neill case proved. If you don''t sort those deeper rooted issues, it won''t matter if you have Bryan Gunn or Alex Ferguson as manager, we''ll remain on the road to failure. The only real solution is to hit the root cause of the problem and only the problem as only then will we stand a chance of turning a corner. Other wise we''ll remain in a viscous cycle that keeps going round and round and round. By focussing on the manager situation all we''re doing is giving the board an easy ride. They''ll end up giving a quick fix, a picifier if you look before normal business resumes once the hysteria dies down. Like i said above, the current situation is a unique window of opportunity which needs to act as a catalyst. Waste it and we''ll be stuck how we are for a few more years.
  2. Well, it seems Bryan Gunn is in the spotlight at the minute, i hear people are slating him for this, but have you considered he may be being pushed into the spotlight by his superiors? Could Delia and Co. be working their masterplan to direct the bullets Gunn''s way? I think it could certainly be construed that way. The Gunn bashers (whether they want him as manager or not) should, i think, do their best to ignore the manager situation and use this unique window of opportunity to rid NCFC of the real core of the problem once and for all. I mean, what happens if they pull out a semi-inspiring management choice only for it to fail in a years time? What happens after the honeymoon period of a new manager Answer: square one, and boy is that a familiar and unhelpful place for us. I truly believe the manager situation should be the least of our concerns right now, that will take care of itself once the board are taken care of. It certainly shouldn''t be the main topic of debate at NCISA''s meeting as seems to be suggested (note to NCISA). The problems are seated way way deeper and concentrating on whether Gunny should stay or go is only playing straight into the board''s hands in my opinion.
  3. i''m still in shock that someone is trying to justify owning something aquascutum!! ROFLBurberry =chavaquascutum =chavresult??? CHAV
  4. Just watched the 89/90 vid. The coverage of the actual brawl was a bit disappointing but the two "penalties". No way!
  5. I''ve thought for while that Marshall is a major weak spot for us. As far as i see the only quality he has to his game is shot stopping. His command of the area is dreadful, he always gets undone by a ball accross him, his kicking a shambles, his organisation of the back four is probably partly to blame for their constant indecision. All this without even considering the glaring goof ups! We need a new keeper. Too late for this season but its got to happen next year.
  6. Exactly my point houston canary!Bryan Robson, Graham Souness are experienced, would you take them?Do you think Peterborough Utd fans where over impressed when darren ferguson was appointed? Bet they love it now eh?
  7. i''d be heart broken if gunny and chippy got boo''ed, in fact i think i''d have to give up norwich city. I can''t see it ever happening though, for the simple reason that with these two we know that even if they fail, it wouldn''t be through lack of effort. I''ve always been of the opinion that i could accept any fate so long as the effort and commitment was always there, and in that respect they could never be questioned.
  8. i''m absolutely shocked that this "rumour" has turned out to be a reality.FAO Delia nd co. we need somebody to unite everybody associated with the club, not divide us into even smaller pieces
  9. Strange thing about that though is (if she really is his missus), what is she doing in norwich???? I thought he was with wycombe?? Surely she doesn''t just "nip down to Marks and Sparks" form there? Plus i remember reading about Gary Holt when he was our player and how he was progressing heavily on his coaching badges! Not saying he''s being lined up as a manger for one minute but a coaching role maybe??????
  10. surely we could have a whip round each month and cover that!!!!!!!
  11. if we could find 5000 fans to pop 10 quid a month into a darren huckerby charity we might be able to tempt him lol
  12. Perhaps us fans can "sponsor" a hucks return?
