1. there is no justifying fudger. The fact people try to justify him at all suggest you already appreciate what a tool he is.Brilliant original post which sums the bashers up a treat. I sense an uprising from the supporters. Jump on the bandwagon all ye that are sick of the whingers!!!!!!
2. Imagine the humiliation!!!!!!!!
3. Signed officially, bit of a gamble but sounds positive. Lets wait and see i guess.
4. the words straws, clutching, and, at, spring to mind.
5. Exactly Badger. The correlation is there with the board i feel.Whats worse is, us fans are doing exactly what the board want by enlarge. People are directing discontent at "uncle fester" (pathetic to resort to that BTW) instead of the board. They are slowly planning to slip off the hook. Masterstroke on their part? Or shortsightedness on ours?
6. I''m sorry, but assuming Gunn will be the same as Grant just because of "experience" is a little short sighted to say the least.Truth is, none of us really know how capable Gunn and co. are going to be, its the fear of the unknown and that it may blow up in our faces again thats worrying. But to just tar any inexperienced manager with the Grant brush is a little silly i feel.Jury is out for me, but back him and who knows. There are no dead certs in this game thats for sure.
7. I think the word "experience" is too liberally used. IMO when selecting a good manager, judging him by "experience" is weak and flawed in itself. There are far more important attributes to consider i think. For every tony adams i''m sure there''s a darren ferguson somewhere in the same way there''s a peter grant. Experience doesn''t ensure a successful manager by any stretch of the imagnation and we should stop kidding ourselves that it would. Eh Glenn?
8. Whoever we play between the sticks HAS to be big, strong, brave and commanding ready for all those long balls and heavyweights!
9. i dont care if they''re scottish so long as they''re good!
10. Scary thing is, i reckon thats about the position we''ll end up in again next year unless there is an attitude turn around of miraculous proportions. When will it end? I want the good times back!
11. i aint interested in players private goings on, no matter what scale it is on. All i care about is us winning matches. Don''t have to like the guy just like any players but if they get results then yeah, who cares!
12. If he scores us goals that fire us back i wouldn''t be too bothered.
13. Last night got my thoughts in motion. Today i''ve decided i''m going to take my rebate, put it in its own little e-savings account of some sort and pay it back, in full, plus interest to the club once promotion back to the championship is assured.
14.
Because sense - before his own personal pride and honour - should have told him that he is not that man for the job! That he does not have the experience, and now is not the time for him to cut his teeth in football management at the club he allegedly loves!
Just out of interest, have you ever considered that the man truly believes in himself? An admirable quality a few of us maybe wish they had i imagine. Just because you and other don''t believe in him doesn''t mean he can''t believe in himself and to be honest, fair play to him on that. I have a lot of time for people with good mental strength and i think what we all can''t deny is that Bryan has that in abundance!
15. exactly, there a few individuals, deluded individuals on here that truly believe they represent the majority that actuall seem to want failure because its all they''re happy with. If they couldn''t come on here and whinge and moan about every last ridiculous thing they''d have no other outlet. Very sad indeed.
16.
Lets hope so he deserves it .
idiot, can''t believe people actually WANT gunn to fail it seems
17. what would that achieve exactly. Whether or not you were pro-gunn, people are failing to see just how harmful and destructive this in-fighting is. Whats more its totally childish and pathetic!
18. Yes, Come on City, Get in the Gunny, Butts and Chippy (my boyhood hero)
19.
I''m ecstatic with the appointment. Long term success can only be achieved with folk passionate for the club. Calls for ''experience'' and for ''measures of success'' in dreary irrelevant clubs elsewhere are decidedly wide of the mark. It is belonging that matters most and only the fans can ruin this moment of magic. Self-destructiveness is rarely rational!
WELL SAID!
20. Brilliant post UEA canary. Some people on here need to have a reality check.
21. very poor keeper that couldn''t command hus area and was often caught hesitating in no man''s land. Excellent business. I''m just grateful to get some money for him after Grant wasted his kitty on him
22. effing brilliant post! At last a bit of savvy and sanity. Well done
23. Find another scapegoat for your pain please.I renewed, not because i was wanting to condone the club''s behaviour in any way (i certainly don''t), but because i''m a supporter, a fan, somebody that wants to feel part of cheering City on back to the good times. I don''t turn my back that easily i''m afraid. Its pi$$ poor that you have to keep using US fans as a reason for the board''s mis-management. In fact its an utterly ridiculous and quite frankly insulting notion.Thank you
24.
Getting boring now all these postings saying the same thing - no to gunn - we wont have any say in the matter anyway and certainly this message board representing a minority of the supporters that attend carrow road will not have any sway whatsoever - I think we have got the picture now regarding posters on here feelings towards Gunn and whilst I do advocate a new manager lets just give him some space and stop knocking the man
i agree!
25. Exactly, but i fear this is going whip up into some kind of scapegoat Gunn frenzy and thus allow the real culprits to slip the hook. By the way i''m undecided on Gunn, in fact i haven''t given it much thought at all yet as my anger and disappointment hasn''t moved beyond the board since the Charlton debacle and i''m not sure it even will. As i said before, for as long as we have the current board in place i really don''t think who sits in the dugout will make any difference.
