1. Phillips was sold to finance the undersoil heating!
2. damn it, was really hoping to see the forster save!
3. i''d take a draw now, no worries, win at home and draw away and we''ll be right up there
4. yep, the we''re the barclay and snakepit, yawn, is so tedious. I wish the snakepitters would lose the chip on their shoulder and the barclay would sing up like the old days and and all muck in together. People say it creates atmosphere but rivallry between our own fans is a bit irritating i think
5.
Presumably you all think Adebayor was completely innocent as well?Good grief, goading any fans like that  (from what I have read) has no place in football surely??Or is it ok just because the fans didnt actually make it across?
Oh my God, the world really is losing it. Isn''t this "goading" a part of the very thing that makes football the game we love. The terrace atmosphere, the banter, the taunting, the ENJOYING the feeling of scoring important goals etc. Seriously chap you need to lighten up or go and watch tiddley winks or something.
6. so what if you have a 5 hr trip!, You made the choice to come and watch the match, so.......watch the match, you have the rest of the evening to get home! People who have to leave for an actual reason other than "to avoid the rush" fair play but the others? What fools. You pay all that money then miss potentially the best bit of a game! Don''t get it
7. before anybody comes in with a sarcastic dissing reply, i''d just like to say: well done for being brave enough to keep suggesting ideas for songs, despite the likelyhood of all the grumpy bar stewards running it down.Thing is, the creativity at carrow road is hideous. We''re almost as big a joke as the club, so we do need some new original ones.
8. well said, houston canary, downloads, grow up!People like you fail to see that the P.C. brigade is what is damaging our society beyond repair.
9. Chippy was my boyhood hero. He has to stay. Amazing player and top top bloke, give him a break to be a top coach here!
10. steve and the coffin dodger sound like a right couple of pricks. They''ll say the wrong thing to the wrong person at some point. I loved the comment about how steve uses his size to intimidate. HAHAHA what a d**k
11. I just don''t understand why we haven''t heard that we''ve made an official approach for somebody. Surely if the new guy is employed we''d have had to go through the correct channels before speaking to him so surely the cat would have been let out of the bag no?
12. aaah, you just gave me a huge tear in my eye, i just pictured gunny running up and pretending to headbutt the crossbar! haha, those days were amazing. I used to turn up to watch city take on man utd and took it for granted. Not only that but i expected to win. Not hoped to, but expected, and we often did! That team was immense. All the people accusing gunn of being a leach and slating him and aiming personal insults are just sick and probably too young to remember those days. As much as i have to admit i don''t think gunn was right for the job in the end, the thought of him being hurt personally by some of the wasters that populate this board makes me truly sad, but knowing gunny he''s to tough to be brought down by that."He''s got no hair but we don''t care"
13. perhaps you aren''t old enough to have appreciated the great team we had on our european adventure. In that teams Gunny was a massive character, coupled with the emotion that we all felt for him when he tragically lost his daughter, all of the amazing charity work he has done since (which for me pales the football issues in to insignificance anyway) and the bond he developed with the people of norwich and norfolk over that period, THAT is why he is seen as a legend.Players like that at Norwich are too few and far between. So, Bryan if you''re reading, i and MANY other, although not all, are deeply sorry for us and you that things haven''t worked out but it won''t change our opinion of you as a club legend and a top top man one bit. All the best
14. i don''t know. I''m just sick of people grasping at managers with one-off successes. Every manager has those (even Gunn and his 4-0 barnsley exploits).I just want to see us go with someone with a few more years behind them and a solid consistent record. I''m not stupid, i realise we are a div 3 club and we are going to be limited to who we can attract and afford but wanting someone on the back of their team winning 7-1 away from home is exactly the kind of short-sightedness that has got us in this trouble time and time again over recent years! That is what needs to be arrested!
15. i think benitez''s managerial past speak a tad louder than lambert of wycombe! Oh, yes, didn''t he get them to an FA cup semi? In that case i take it all back, he must be simply brilliant!
16. oops, i do apologise, after checking my factx they actually only lost 2-1 at home to the mighty leyton orient. Get him in, he''s qualified!
17. sorry mr rasputin sir, but they actually followed up their 7-1 with a 2-0 home loss against leyton orient in midweek. Perhaps you''d like to check up on this before appointing yourself a message board cop!!!
18. Great choice.Beat a norwich side containing a comedy goalkeeper, centre half right back padded out further by a load of amateurs, THEN lost 2-0 at home to the mighty leyton orient. ACTUALLY, now you mention it perhaps he is suitably qualified to officially be the next NCFC balls up!Get him in.Give me strengh, was hardly an achievement beating that shower that we put out last week was it???
19. How many of these people calling for Askou to walk straight in have actually seen enough of him to make their mind up. I haven''t and while i haven''t its better the devil you know for me!There were lots of people calling for powell and mtandari to be signed up after fakenham, but have gone quiet and after seeing powell (and don''t even know if the other was playing) at dereham, they were hopeless, you''d have taken cureton over powell anyday!!!!Maybe we should judge the guy askou once we''ve seen him at our level. On that note, isn''t it funny how some new signings are slated before they''ve kicke a ball and others are put on a pedestal???? Funny ol'' lot us "message boarders"
20. yeah that one is better stranger, we need some originality instead of the boring repitition and copying other clubs! I''m sure football songs used to be more original and funny back in the day!!!
21. All this talk of run out music (be careful you''ll get done by the new thread police) is a bit of a nonsense i say. We''d be far better off knowing what the players would like to run out to and backing that. They''re the ones that we really need to be pumped up. If they are, we will be, simple as that whether its the cheeky girls or led zep!
