Definitely not JFH then - surprise, surprise -
Sounds from the text update like a pretty crap long ball dominated half

Norwich IS a shambles!!
chichcanary replied to topflightblueandwhite's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Two games in with one win and a loss, all be it heavy. AND 12 new players that Gunn wanted, you sack your manager... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING UP THERE ACCROSS THE BORDER? Please tell us what''s good about NODGE??
We spell across with one C in civilised areas sonny. -
If we win 4-0 will Butterworth be given the job full time???
Has his daughter got a Facebook campaign going? Seems to be the deciding factor Sounds like we need a late 1st half goal at Exeter

Norwich in lengthy talks with Hasselbaink
chichcanary replied to canaries's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It''ll never happen. Poyet I wouldn''t mind as it happens but JFH is a rich man who has no managerial experience and a comfortable existance as occasional Sky pundit Why would he take over a failing club with huge ambitions as a 1st job? How could we afford his wages plus Poyet (both would be expensive) and pay off Butterworth / Gunn / Crooky / Deehan We''llappoint Butterworth full time - believe me -
Please please please appoint Steve Coppell
Why did he leave reading again?
He left after they lost the Championship play off semi last year Why does anyone think he''ll come to us? Or that we can afford him You can almost guarantee within a few months at least 1 Prem manager will be sacked and Coppell will be in the frame for sure -
You can say that again

What will be Gunns next job at norwich?
chichcanary replied to Its only my opinion's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Head of stewarding - I thought his going on about our great stewarding on Saturday was suspicious He''s obviously after a job there -
He was linked to Southampton not long ago. They are in League 1. Just throwing it out there.
Yes but they''ve got money now and he obviously managed their before with success How about Roy Keane - I hear he''s moved to the area

So should we have any sympathy for Gunn
chichcanary replied to Canwebe Heroes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I feel the timing and nature of his sacking seems shabby - although we don''t know the full picture No sympathy regarding the points raised by the original poster - no-one forced him to take over in January and certainly no-one forced him to apply for the permanent job. He more than anyone knew the state of the club when he took the job -
Some lovely wishlists - but really can you see them happening My money''s on Butterworth or Crook
-
Anyway hats off to The Daily Mirror They''ve obviously got a man on the inside - I''ll look out for any Norwich -related rumours they put out now
-
i''d expect a new manager next week as Norwich said Butterworth was taking of just the Exeter game
You''ll have to get a new avatar Norwich4Evz
I wonder if they''d already decided his fate before they came to the Capital Canaries Q & A session on Monday evening ? If they already knew when they came to see us then they bluffed their way through pretty convincingly. I find it hard to believe they did it after the hammering the team gave Yeovil though......
I had a long chat with Delia 4 days before she fired Worthy (not in an official meeting or anything) and she was adamant that he wouldn''t be fired and talked about long term stability being the route to success. 4 days later off he goes..
Surely Robins would be just another ''bleeds green and yellow blood'' appointment? I''m hoping the new faces on board will be a little less inclined to repeat the mistakes of the recent past.
At least Robbins had a great season at this level last year and is young though Grant / Gunn had no experience Roeder was a serial failure at other clubs Robbins is up and coming
-
I''d be very happy with Robbins - just happier with him being appointed at the end of last season so he could have built his own staff / squad Surely if we have to pay off Crook / Butterworth / Deehan that''s more money down the toilet
-
Why after 1 game though - why let Gunn spend all the transfer money and bring in a new manager?
-
Might as well start a "who''s taking over" thread Will it be Crook - if so I can''t see the logic. If they are sacking Gunn because of Saturday''s result why promote one of his deputies Will they re-advertise and get someone from outside and presumably replace Butterworth / Crook etc The whole thing makes no sense basically
-
It''s true - just got an official text

we will walk league one!
chichcanary replied to super canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
ive had a premonition.city champions with a record points tally and goals scored.go through the season unbeaten, with perhaps the odd couple of draws thrown in.gunn receives an amazing ten consecutive manager of the month awards.believe with me people, look into the eyes, not around the eyes, look into the eyes!!! the futures bright, the future is yellow and green!(unless we have to play in the away kit, then the future is whatever that colour is,which i forget)!!
What annoys me is that the FA are even bothering with the 2009-10 season It would save everyone a lot of money in travelling to away grounds / policing etc if they just used your premonitions We could be given 102 points to beat the record Leeds and MK Dons might as well be relegated along with, say Southampton I think you should get in touch with them pronto -
I remember seeing them in the late 80s when we were both in the 1st division Never had any problems then and I''m sure they had a worse rep then ( and bigger crowds) - just be sensible One thing I remember is walking to Carrow Rd and hearing the Millwall fans singing before the match. It sounded as if they''d brought along about 20,000 fans the noise they were making When I got onto the good old Barclay Terrace there were only a few hundred Millwall fans - but they were very noisy!

Fixture List, Licensing?
chichcanary replied to Bruce Eats Walkers!'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Tis true There was an article about it in the current edition of When Saturday Comes It''s mentioned at the start of this article from their web site (although it''s a different article) http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/3439/38/ -
I don''t follow Chelski that closely.. but I think Guus did change the forward line (playing Annelka and Drogba together) Also it''s the principle of the thing - a few bad games and someone good can take your place That was never an option for us unfortunately
