1. Decent is not good enough in the EPL, we need better at CB, RB and a goal scoring midfielder but doubt we will get any of those from our take all give little in return board.
2. Heard that last week sad news felt the whack a couple of times 71-76 top man though where is the church?
3. Not only is he a football manager he is a family man and sometimes they come first, he is young and that is on his side. If we cannot match his ambition then he may decide his future is somewhere else even if he has to drop down a league.
4.
You need to get your senses checked out, they are not working.[:(]
As I said just my opinion and my senses are fine, and I sense your opinion is paramount or is that the little man syndrome?
5. So how many of the crosses from our orthodox wingers/full backs were effective yesterday? At least our attacking players can attack the ball as opposed to having to wait for an over hit cross, you are assuming that i have been drinking do you actually go to games?
6. Listening to Alex Neill interview on radio yesterday just sensed that he felt he could not get our defense to play any better, and a slight inference to the lack of investment by the board in the summer has left us short of what we need to compete or even survive in this league. My fear is that too many thumping''s might lead him to walk, just my opinion.
7. At last an advocate of a 3-5-2 just like me, even better without Martin in the side and the same back 3 as i have in a previous post hurrah!!
8.
He''s a good captain and is the ultimate professional. Though he had an absolute nightmare yesterday.
Good captain? Tell me the last time you saw him try to get his players going saw more of that from Tettey, Jarvis and Mbokani yesterday a silent captain is not a good captain ask anyone who has been in the Army you sir/madam are talking out OYA
9. Wake up man Russell Martin was nervous yesterday almost hiding, should have got closer to the guy that crossed for the goal, played too many hopeful balls that went to the opposition, worse than Whittaker in that respect. He was clearly the worst of our defenders and needs dropping now. We need to start playing two up front in a 3-5-2. Wisdom Bassong and Bennett being the three at the back, Ollson and Brady as the wing backs any decent full back can play left or right.
10.
My team but what do I know lol Ruddy Whittaker -- Martin -- Bassong -- Olsson --------------Tettey ------------------- Jarvis ---- Howson---- Brady -------------Wessie----------- --------------Jerome------------
If that''s the line up tomorrow think I might jack it in the wife will have to go on her own.
11. I am not a football coach but i can see Maclaren did his homework a majority of Newcastles balls into the box came from the right so Bassong has to defend the near post striker so Martin and Whittaker have to deal with it, hence goals galore because they are poor ballwatching defenders. Going forward i thought we looked decent.
12.
Good performance from Martin, and the team. Which is becoming the norm under AN. Bring on Leicester.
How is it a good performance by Martin when we concede goals I don''t give a toss about how many passes he made he is a defender and I am sorry when he is needed he is missing.
13. Unfortunately, as I wasn''t at the game it is difficult to criticize but listening to Chris Gorehams commentary "Martin fails to deal with cross" for equalizer, heard it all before, in the EPL you have to be consistent in your role. We have a great squad but my concern is do we have enough. Loving it so far but 3 points today would have been massive.
14.
Don''t like it? Tough, binner. No, he''s not the greatest defender we''ve ever had, but nor is he the massive liability people claim he is. We will concede goals this season. Some will be a mistake from him, some will be a mistake from others. We''ll score goals too. And as already seen, some of them will be from the Norfolk Cafu himself. What I''m saying is, when RM scores, I see the delight on his face. I see his passion for the club and I hear it in every interview. When we concede or lose who looks gutted? Him. But who''s first to come and applaud our fans? Him. I like him. I''m happy for him when he scores and plays well because he''s obviously a great bloke. I don''t give a single toss that van dijk might have a better percentage of interceptions. Van dijk could well be...a d*ck. Football should be something to be enjoyed, to be passionate about. Which is exactly what RM does. Which in turn makes me enjoy watching him play. Delighted for him today. The background story of his last 24 hours only confirms everything I thought about him before. Club captain. Club legend.
If he scored a goal for every mistake or misplaced pass he makes we would be in the top 4 by now
15.
One of the nicest blokes I''ve ever met. Top lad and can see why he is captain.
Still not good enough for the PL.
16.
depending on fitness id go with              ruddymartin bennett bassong olsson                tettey           dorrans howson redmond                brady               jeromei dont really believe wisdom or jarvis were any improvement on anything we already had, mbokani will be interesting but i would have rather seen the club take a risk on austin or rhodesim still baffled by we didnt sign a proven cb and rb, i could have lived with grabban/hooper/jerome/wolf but we really needed new defenders, and weve got ONE premier league quality defender, bassong isnt, if he was they would have been queuing up for him last season when neil adams tried to get rid, instead he wound up at watford on loan. i think we will win, after that the ish hits the fan
Who is the PL defender please don''t say Martin
17. While the majority shareholders hold our football club back it wont get better, I think we will be ok this year just but would have felt more comfortable with the acquisition of a decent CB and RB,
18.
Let''s all have a cry It was only a few weeks ago the wisdom was a better centre half than a right back?
If you are happy to let in 2 or 3 goals a game on average then good luck with that, I hate to think what Man City will do to us. I cannot believe people think we can put up a fight with Martin and Whittaker in the side neither can tackle and are very slow, poor show in the window. Oh and why have we let players out on loan and kept Elliot Bennet in the squad beggars belief.
19. That''s a good shout FCC, Redmond was pretty ineffective yesterday and their center-backs were not too quick.
20.
Anyone know how long he has left on his contract? I was wondering if signing him on loan got around any clauses for Kiev? As for his record, would people have signed him on the back of: 39 goals in 87 goals for Standard Liege? 34 goals in 53 appearances for Anderlecht? 16 goals in 33 appearances for Kiev? No striker is a sure bet. Afobe would be a risk, and a much greater one at £14million. Mbokani on a loan or at around £5million would be a much lesser risk financially and in terms of his record. Afobe in comparison has scored 15 goals in 26 appearances for Wolves in the championship, 10 in 22 for MKDons in league 1.
Why is 5m on a striker taking a risk, surely football is about taking risks. We have the money so spend some of it about time our majority shareholders stopped holding back our club. We need 2 quality defenders and two decent strikers in and we will be fine, Collins and Murray no, anyone else we have been linked with is a yes for me even Walters to add a bit of steel and nous to the squad
21. If RM has been playing well recently I must have been at a different set of games championship player at best
22. How many more times can we be told to get behind our boys you start to sound like Delia Smith, she and her husband are actually holding this club back and I am losing patience with it all
23. Whittaker has no pace if he gets turned his legs are like concrete, you are judging Wisdom on one appearance I am saying now he is better than Whittaker by a mile
24. Cant agree more Captain  Martin was woeful today played Pelle onside for 1st goal and was marking fresh air for for 2nd and 3rd goals left Wisdom exposed time for change please
