1. Right peeps in the know, where is the best place for a pre-match beer. And wanting to make the most of the weather preferably somewhere with a beer garden. Thanks in advance.
2. Will be announced in the next couple of days. Signing for a London Club. Told today at the RNS from someone who should know.
3. In that case it''s 1 for me as i have a ticket for the Final. Come on ENGLAND!!!
4. Arthur your appraisal of following England is spot on. It seems most on here are basing their views on what is written in the News of the World!! Been following England home and away (done about 40 aways) for about 12 years now and the away games are like a drug simply addictive visiting cracking places with good mates for a good laugh as well as some memorable games of football (5-1 in Munich, 3-2 against the Argies in Geneva, 5-1 in Zagreb etc). Have also met a load of top people including many Norwich on my travels. For the record i am a S/T holder at Norwich as well have been for 23 years, done about 1000 games and been to 94 differnet grounds. Club or Country? - Don''t need to choose as i don''t have too, England World Cup win or Norwich Championship win? Hopefully both but either would do. Can never understand an Englishman not being patriotic or not wanting England to win but each to their own!! Got a 10 day trip and tickets for Semi Final and Final in SA and can''t wait.
5. Wes expects to be out for the next 2 games, and is looking to return fully fit against Bristol Rovers. Although he could make the bench for the Gills game if things don''t go well at Charlton.
6. Guaranteed tickets for World Cup Semi-Final and Final in South Africa should England get there and Norwich go top of the league. Or Norwich stuff it up and it dawns on me i have paid £600 for tickets to two football matches. Football - You''ve got to love it!!
7. My Dad''s bigger than your Dad. FFS grow up the lot of ya. What fine representatives you all are of NCFC. Embarrassing and for any outsiders looking in a good laugh i am sure. BTW that excludes you Purple Canary for the only reasoned post of the whole 6 painfull pages. I am all up for reasoned debate but this is playground type stuff that has no place on this forum.
8.
Look folks, if you''re a regular away traveller (as I used to be) once in a while you will get to the ground to find the game is off, it goes with the territory - Portsmouth, Burnley (twice), Blackpool, West Brom etc etc. The prime whingers imo are fans who don''t travel away on a regular basis.
With respect the games you mention above (also chuck in Arsenal, Coventry in recent years) were called off with far more valid reasons than yesterday, and yes i did them all. Portsmouth and Burnley i can remember the rain was torrential, WBA about 6 inches of snow and Arsenal was the pea-souper. For anybody that was there yesterday, i have been to colder barbeques and the thought never entered my head that the game night be called off. Somebody and i don''t know who has cocked up big time here as the game should have been played. It does appear that the ones having a pop at the fans for moaning were the ones that didn''t actually go!! Anyway see you at Wycombe and a Happy New Year to all NCFC supporters. Onwards and Upwards. OTBC
9.
Don''t buy into this DON''T GO TO MILLWALL stuff it''s bollox. I''ve said it so many times on here now, unless you are from a big London club they don''t give a monkeys. If you go there looking for a fight you''ll get one,if you go to watch the football it''s no worse than any other ground. I''ve been to hundreds of games at both the old and new Dens and very rarely saw any problems(I used to work at Surrey Quays underground station). Their reputation is a lot worse than their bite. I will be meeting some old friends(Millwall fans) in one of the local boozers before the game and know I''ll have no problems.
Spot on.Don''t believe all you read in the press. Been to Millwall several times at both the old and new den with no bother. Yes Millwall have some nutters but Norwich won''t interest them, doubt they will even bother. You are more likely to get bother at Exeter, Brighton, Gillingham etc. As long as you are sensible and don''t go looking for trouble you will be fine. Go and enjoy and hopefully another 3 points.
10. No, will be in the Ukraine (Buggered if i am paying £4.99 to watch it online!!).
11. http://www.nsno.co.uk/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?811119.0 Doesn''t take long to get around!!!
12. I''m glad this has been brought up, as soon as i heard about Everton''s complaint about Diouf i thought of the FA Cup incident and the dispicable way it was handled by Everton Football Club. I was at that game and there was no racist chanting just "you fat b**stard" to a certain Mr Rooney I think this should be brought to National attention as what goes round comes round Mr Ross, and as for wanting Diouf banned from entering Goodison Park, i am sure you dished the same treatment out to your plank of a steward who made the complaint against NCFC didn''t you!!   Hate Ipswich, Hate Wolves, Hate Everton!!
13. No been twice before with England. Always a good trip though. Gonna try and remember something about the game this time!!
14. Now off to Amsterdam to try and (after Saturday) restore my faith in Football. Either that or stay in the coffee shops and forget it all!!! Good luck to City (and fair play to those that go) at Yeovil tonight, you are going to need it.
15. 63 for me. 8 new ones this season Brighton Bristol R Carlisle (can''t do this as will be in the Ukraine) Colchester Hartlepool Orient Wycombe Yeovil So hope to b on at least 70 by the end of the season with a few more to add in the cups hopefully.
16.

Afternoon all... Me and three mates want to go to Exeter away on the 15th for a bit of a roadtrip and a weekend of ''cyder''... I have never been to an away game however and was wonering if I just ring up the ticket office and order the tickets and if so do I need anything like season ticket numbers etc?
Watch out in Exeter if you are strolling about in colours.  They have a local "firm" buoyed by the fact that in the two lower divisions the club had very few surveillance cameras.  Hopefully they have improved that for League One but still tread carefully. Inside the ground is okay.  There was a pre-arranged mass brawl with Bradford supporters back in March and a pre season city centre friendly with the Plymouth "firm."
Kicked off big time before and after the game when we played them down there in the FA Cup a few years ago.
17. Saw him and his Grandson at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin last November for the England game. Actually saved him from getting run-over. Still don''t know if that was the right thing to do!!
18. 1 Alnwick            Theokolitis 2 Otsemeboor      Spillane 3 Drury                Wiggins 4 Doherty             Askou 5 Stefanovic          Nelson 6 Tudor-Jones       Gill 7 Whaley              McVeigh 8 Hughes               Pattison 9 Holt                    Maric 10 McDonald        Cureton 11 Hoolahan          Lappin Plus Youth in Reserve:- GK - Rudd, Steer Def - Dumic, Stephens, Habergham Mid - Smith, Adeyami, Lathrope Fwd - Martin, Renton, Daley, Kelly Looking good to me, a good mixture of experience and youth and players who know what to expect at League 1 level. The "Second XI" could make the play-offs couldn''t it?!! (By the way these 2 eleven''s are just an example and not personal opinion before anyone shoots me down with "i would have "x" ahead of "y") I have been hugely critical of the board, management and players and the way the club has been run over the last few years, but i have got to say i am very optimistic about the new season with the signings we have made. I don''t know who has pulled the strings to make these signings happen (Mc Nally?) but 12 on board a week before we kick-off is not the Norwich City way!! Was Doncaster a bigger burden than we realised or have the board seen the light? Whatever the reason well done to all concerned. After the positive the negative --- Gunny? I do have concerns over his ability to manage particularly with his brief stint at the end of last season, however benefit of the doubt and all that and with "his" squad on board he will now be judged, so as far as i am concerned he has a clean slate and i sincerely hope he succeeds. Good Luck Bryan. Onwards and Upwards and bring on Col U!!
19.

imagine who we could have brought if no one claimed their rebates
Dont try and make those of us who claımed feel guılty!
Why? You should feel guilty! You are basically from here onwards a 2nd class city fan. Although it is nice that you all got to make your pathetic little point. Woo good for you!
"2nd Class city fan". Boy you window lickers make me laugh. Who are you to tell me what i can do with my money. I have no grudge either way with those that claimed or didn''t claim. Everyone has their own personal reasons or agendas for their decisions. I don''t think that claiming back 80 odd quid compared to supporting the club for 35 years the last 22 years as a Season Ticket holder, aprroaching 1000 games, following City to 72 of the 92 league grounds, driving to the 3 away games we had in Europe, pre-season tours at home and abroad makes me a 2nd Class City Fan. Think before you post litte boy or crawl back under your stone.
20. Blimey Graham that sounds painful. How did you get em sorted, course of tablets? physiotherapy? Your sex life must have been severely affected.
21. On what deluded basis do you arrive at Drury being awful but still wanting to find a place in the team for one of the worst full backs i have ever seen at Carrow Road. Just curious?
22.
Balham, I probably shouldn''t have called you a moron. However, I am genuinely sick of seeing fans take the high ground towards other fans who, under legal contract, are claiming money owed to them. Your words were: "from this point forward you should just shut up and put up". Not an acceptable thing to say to someone who is simply claiming what is legally theirs. As for my views on the rebate figures - frankly, I am delighted. I do not buy the idea that the claim rate was purely a symptom of the economic climate, although that''s obviously a factor. As I said on another thread, having one less pint at each home game would cover the cost of waiving the average rebate. It''s negligible when you''re talking about an entire season, and in the context of thousands spent on following the club in totality. Therefore I''m under no doubt that this is first time the supporter base have sent the board a clear, majority message. Like me and many others, they are drawing a line in the sand, no longer willing to embrace such abject failure, year after year. The club have enjoyed a period of support and financial income that is without precedent in the club''s history, and yet nothing - nothing - exists or remains to show for it. Quite the reverse. Our debt levels are critical and our assets non-existent. As a result I am forced to stand by my previous comment: if you are unable to join such huge, flashing red dots to arrive at a rational assessment of how the club is being run, and where that "extra" £1.4m would end up - then perhaps nobody is in a position to help you.
Great Post. My thoughts exactly and the thoughts of the majority.
23. Not good for those that follow club and country. I will miss Yeovil in the cup on 11 August as i will be in Amsterdam. Still hope to make the league game away though. I will also miss Carlisle away on 10 October (really wanted to go to this as one of only a handful of grounds in League 1 I haven''t been to) as i will be in the Ukraine. Still to decide whether to do Walsall at Home of Slovenia at Wembley on 5 September?
24. Please God No. That really would be a kick in the stands!!
25.

Quite ironic given the nature of the post that "the undertaker" is commenting, don''t you think!!!
This is not the type of subject to be joking about. Try to be a bit more sympathetic in future
Righty Ho Tom.   Feeling a bit silly now are we.
