  1. 3-2 win (Hucks to get first hat-trick, after the FA decided we could sign him on loan) Haha not sure about scorer''s but 3-2 - we can''t defend!
  2. Just remembered the 2-0 win at PR (2xIwan) and I think it stopped them going up? NW''s first proper game in charge after Bryan Hamilton (saw his last game in charge at Fratton Park 5 Dec 2000) bloody frozen!
  3. My first away game was the 5-0 thumping! Probably be the 3-1 on way to Prem. There was several games about 10 years ago that ended 0-0 (they we''re shocking)
  4. This has been obvious all season - penny might have dropped when dejan was injured and lack of decent CB''s. Even if it means playing unattractive (having loads back) I would rather scrap a couple of points to stay up! Watched the goals last night - what a joke! (they get paid to stop the ball going in the net)
  5. I will never forget that day against Burnley! I was part of the minority wanting him to stay - the chants for his head we''re so loud (It put the players off even more, those few weeks we''re horrible) The fickle nature of football. Very similar this season - praise after doing so well and saving us from certain relegation - this year, negative jibes that are causing unrest on the terraces!
  6. Thats what people said about Worthy! Arsenal fans said the same thing about Wenger two weeks ago
  7. I always hope for Ipswich or Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal
  8. If you remember last year it was the performace against Ipswich that actually started our season. Except for the minor blip at Plymouth the following week. Even though it was not a win coming back from 0-2 and we should have gone on to win!
  9. Your right it is not just that fact we are encouraging the norwich players - but a lot of noise/banter gets on the back of the opposition. For example against Derby last month we created a lot of noise for every kick the GK had after Carroll was sent off. You could see he was under a lot of pressure.
  10. Being the optimist I am every season I think we will gain promotion or stay up! Similarly always think we will win our home games - and we can either scrap a win/draw away! How naive - and unrealistic. Laterly even against forest I convinces myself we would lose. Shock we go and win!
  11. I''ve said for months - no one knows what the offer actual was?! So we can only guess. But there does not appear to be many local billionaires cueing up down Carrow Rd?
  12. Following on from NQ''s post about being honest - we are crap! I thought we have a similar problem to Arsenal - I don''t see a leader out of the bunch we have (Rusty being best choice) Always say it should be a centre back or centre mid - as they are at centre of most things going on! Unlike Liverpool (Carragher & Gerrard) who are Scousers to the bone. We have Jamie & Rusty, (don''t think they have to be same quality, as the previous mentioned) - but to see someone with a smidge of passion and desire might be good!
  13. I know what you mean about the characters of NCFC. Even a few years back with Malky, Iwan & Greeno. I forgot the other week we had Lee Camp on loan. The loan players come in for a bit - don''t give a toss - and off they go back to where they came from. The atmosphere in the crowd has definately changed - and the turning point for me was the start of season after being relegated 3/4 years ago. The last home game (in prem) against brum was good - and same for most that year. Championship winning season (against Preston) awesome day - one of the best!
  14. I have just thought that if Delia and Michael care for for any ounce of this club they would start tucking into their humble pie - and agree to PC or re-negotiate offer! January transfer window might mean we could ship out some dead wood, and replace with something half decent to ensure (can''t believe i''m saying it) Championship survival.
  15. It was by Talking Heads - Number 6 - 1986! Lol
  16. Seems to think the last we won a game televised was when Neale Barry helped us out against Reading. Might have forgotten about beating Man U 2-0 on SSports?
  17. Live in Colchester now - but born in your region (Halesworth). Got off train at Colchester a couple of weeks back after the game to the sound of (cue the cockney/essex twang) "Essex, Essex, Essex"
  18. Altough he is very good - let him go - regret not keeping Lewis!
  19. Not at that game but was at the but did attend in 1992/3 we beat Man City 2-1 as a wee nipper in the lower barclay asking Dad ''what are they calling the referee?''
  20. I would agree with this. Just think what its like to be a QPR fan - possibly richest club in the world and still hanging around mid-table, if NCFC fans are mad - they must be livid!
  21. In the current climate it might be worth waiting for land prices to increase. Yes we are in financial meltdown, but just giving it away is pointless - plus greedy developers make so much money from flats its untrue. Just thought, Taylor Wimpey are in meltdown as well, laying people off a couple of months back - and closing sites.
  22. I went to School in Ipswich. I remember one Monday after beating them a girl came up to me and kicked me in the shin - as if it was my fault! Probably something to do with the cheering and laughing in her face! Haha!
  23. Always disliked Graeme Souness for some reason. Holloway always seems to beat us, and Jim Magilton... needs no reason! Would also agree with Wenger such a hypocrite, and comments like I didn''t see it! There is instant replays nowadays! Grr!
