1. I bet they also wish they never sacked Mick, or signed that useless Roger Johnson?! Hindsight is great, but we at least need to prepare for next summer. If we are allegedly now debit free, surely we could find £10m for next summer, along with all the high profile signings we won''t make this summer.
2. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/PR/attend.html This shows why we need to expand the ground!
3. It seems quite cut throat...but that the industry, and they it''s only Jackson and Tierney that have played in the last year for Norwich.
4. Not that it matters, as we are safe. Just looked at possession on BBC which has us at 67%. ESPN had it at 50%. Not even close.
5. I vaguely remember Croft getting POTS when we were relegated to L1?!
6. I noticed this morning we have lost more games this season than we did last year. Strangely this year we have been more defence minded, but you would think that would reduce the amount of defeats. Like your opening statement, maybe if we had been more attack minded we could have won more of the draws, and drawn more of the defeats!
7. Yeah let''s not bother! Saw the other day Swansea are planning 10k expansion. Even Bournemouth are looking to expand now they have been promoted.
8. Thanks folks. Back then I assume Dave Stringer managed the youth team too?
9. Strange question - but sure someone will know...what was the team when we won it in ''83?
10. Surely the jury is definately out there for Turner? Has good games and then disappears/makes a couple of shockers!
11. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11979/8497257/Man-United-v-Man-City-to-be-shown-live-on-Sky-Sports-in-April City not on the list - someone mentioned we should be in three others excluding Sunderland game...ESPN for the other three?
12.
Can you remember the last time we''ve won with Bennett in the team? If we have Bennett in the team one more time then we''re going down for sure,he''s more like the new Elliot Ward than a premier league defender!!!
Peterborough?
13.
Why on earth shouldn''t they be allowed to swap shirts? I''m sure they didn''t have a good day out and will all be feeling quite bad now, they probably didn''t want to play so poorly. But oh no, everything is about the fans of course.
There was an interview with Morsion last season. To cut it short he said he didn''t like swapping shirts - as most people see it as a trophy who you have played against. I''d rather see players applauding the fans for making the journey, and getting 3 points, or anything...some obviously had other things on their mind - like getting Gerrard shirts! I agree with OP - if you win the game, then it''s obviously not an issue.
14. Same happened to poor Hoots! Think there could be back lash from players
15. Crewe have always been lucky too... I recall Middlesborough had a good academy a few years back..Danny Graham? Don''t forget that bloke Shaw from Southamption too
16. Waste of space! Defines some of he problems with modern football. Don''t feel sorry for him, he''s been earning £40,000.00 a week, most of which has been spent a McDonalds, or other such burger outlets.
17. I think it was named after Sir A South, and not because it faces south. Interestingly the Barclay was also named after someone...Mr Barclay I believe. I actually agree, not that many on here will. That Robert Chase was/is a legend of the club, even though many stuck two fingers up and pushed him out. Maybe the N&P could be named The Sir Robert Chase Stand?
