  1. Come on after the performance of that ref and linesman, evan a vicar would swear.
  2. You mean another game, where a wrong decision has produced the wrong result.I dont follow either team, but that decision wasnt a hard choice.
  3. The chap you are all talking about is ginger pele,we were stood next to him and his mates, and had a great laugh with them.Think they all had a few drinks, but they were friendly and very entertaining. Most of the chants were started by these lads, and the Chris Martin thing is only tounge in cheek,as the song goes top of the league having a laugh. They certainly were.
  4. Did anyone stand near Ginger pele and his mates on Saturday, how he can shout as loud as that I will never know.Thought he and his mates were great ,nice to see fans having a good time, although second half he looked a bit worse for wear.Glad I didnt have to pay there bar bill.
  5. Got married the day before, and as wedding had been booked never got Wembly, had to settle for watching on the telly.Never mind tuesday will be our silver wedding, and next year will be my golden year for going to Carrow road.No complaints with either.
  6. I had £40 at 13/2 before a ball had been kicked, to win the league,so although I will be pleased to get promotion, champions woul make me much happier.
  7. Hall road are good.Had some sat night when I got back from Brighton.Nice people and tables to sit and eat.fried to order.
  8. Was it worse than gallas,I dont think so.On another day he would have got away with it.
  9. Have watched it several times, and will say it probably looked worse than it was.If you can watch it again, look  at the two feet from the Brentford player which were studs showing before Holt arrived, then look at the player have a quick look at the ref to see what card he has brought out.I am not saying the ref got it wrong, but on another day there may have been a differant outcome. The other player was not hurt, and infact a free kick was awarded to us for a previous foul.My feelings are that the ref was a bit hasty and should have taken more time, again if you look the card was out very quick.
  10. While we are on the subject of your pitch etc.For a new stadium I thought it was dreadfull. The place was souless, plastic, and behind the stand looked more like B&Q than a football stadium. How anyone can pay money and go there every other week is beyond belief.Just remember we brought more fans to your joke of a stadium than you get most saturdays, and could have filled all four sides if we had to.Fifty years I have been following the yellows, and have not been to a more sad looking half finished shed in all that time. Its about time your chaiman got his cheque book out and finished the place off.If he coud build a stadium as good as he gobs off you would all have something to shout about. Now eddy melito may I suggest that you crawl back to your hovel, and only come back when you have improved or got something better to say.
  11. Parking could be a problem at colchester.Would appreciate any info on where to park and price.Do anyone know what the food outlets are like.?
  12. Cant see anyone else getting it. May I suggest that it is presented to him prior to kick off on Jan 16.Presented to him by Scowling.lol
  13. If it was I was there.11 years old,63,000 in old trafford, and the yellows beat them.
  14. Well done ricardo,I am 1961 to now, still loving every minute of it.Best supporters in the land.Merry Christmas to you all.
  15. What a great thread.Kevin built a house in Hevingham, which he lived in for a few years. He also worked behind the bar at the fox now and again.Freqented the footballers pub at the time the Woolpack next to edp offices.Great keeper and servant to city.I consider myself privaliged to have seen him play all his home games and a few away.Have got his and Barry Butler autographs from a training session held at Sheringham because Trowse was frozen. Can anyone tell me who went in goal in the Northampton game after kevin was sent off..I know and he was another decent player.
  16. Elvis costello plays to another sell out.
  17. Come on lets face it is there anyone of that shower we saw last night, including the manager that you want to stay.Last night was the worst team to wear the shirt in 50 years of me watching them. The whole club is in freefall.
  18. And there was me thinking football was for everyone,I didnt know it was only for people who could sing, shout ,swear etc.Never mind I have stood in the barclay, been to wembly, been to europe, took the rookery at Watford, watched city beat Man utd 1-2 at old trafford. I do apoligise for getting old and now sitting in the city stand. I wonder if most of you will do 50 years. And yes I still hate losing, and dont like the position we are in now,I also wish someone had told me all those years ago that you had to sing ,shout and swear,it would have saved me a lot of time and money.
  19. Well nexus,I am glad I dont have to put up with you.Just remember when you first start supporting a team.you support that team for life, not just when they are winning. There are still two games to go and what will be will be.For me I am third generation of city supporter in my family and will soon  have been attending for fifty years,in that time there have been many highs and many lows,Yes we have not been in this situation before, and belive me I moan and groan just as much as anyone, but norwich are the team I was given to support, and that is what I shall do.There is allways a very fine line between winning and losing, and I would never consider admiting defeat before a ball has even been kicked.May I suggest you go and get your shirt out of the was basket, and wear it with pride.Anyone can go and support one of the big four, but it takes special people to support norwich.I am so proud of our supporters,we are still the envy of bigger clubs. As for keane,Ipswich are welcome to him,and only time will tell if he turn out better than gunn.Judge gunn after he has had a clean slate. When he got the job he was on a hiding to nothing.Oh and remember the song city till I die, which apply  to most of us,sadly I dont think it will apply to you.
  20. Just try to clear a few points up. I was there and the game was played in very good spirit by everyone involved, and very well refereed. There were no threats, the tackle was not a bad tackle, just a tackle that happens in all level of football. The fact is Mr Sutton went onto the field of play, which of coarse every parent would do if there son/daughter was injured,it is what went on when he got onto  the field. The match was held up for several minutes while he protested and abused the referee,he wolud not leave the field of play when asked. It was a most unfortunate incident and is getting a little bit out of hand. All the boys involved get on very well, and games between these teams are allways played with a high level of sportsmanship It is a shame that one incedent has caused so much trouble.I am sure Mr sutton regrets his actions and in hindsight would have handled it a bit differant,.There was only one person in the wrong and that was Mr sutton.
  21. In case anyone missed it ,it was on anglia news tonight. Watched that new respect advert, and have to say, things need to change very quickly.
  22. I was at the match and his behaviour was incredible for a man who should be setting an example to youngsters. Why he had to get involved I will never know. The young lad who refed the match is allways very good, very fair, and a really nice lad. He did not derserve to be abused in such a way, by someone like him.You would expect better. Think he need to climb down from his high horse, take his head out of his backside, learn some manners, and treat people as he would like to be treated.
