  1. Funny how some players look so bad when in the side-trouble is we have so many at the moment! Lappin deserves an opportunity not only for the fact that Roeder is not prepared to eat "humble pie" but also with our dire financial position can we afford just to have such a skilled player only training? The fact that he plays in the reserve team would imply that he is a reserve for when the first team squad is short as it is now yet he does not get in. In my book Roeder is the architect of our downfall through his arrogance and inability to motivate players along with his dire selection /substitution policy. When I see other squads visiting Carrow Road it is easy to see what can be achieved on a limited budget by a decent manager yet we constantly fail. Roeder has to go but can we afford to terminate his contract?
  2. Can''t agree with you on Lappin-played out of position several times which did not help. As for his size I can think of numerous players of the same stature in the Championship who are doing well. I also reckon that we would be no worse off if we had introduced several of the youngsters alongside players such as Lappin to give experience and stability. The loans just do not do it for me.
  3. So why does Roeder not play Simon Lappin? If he does think he is behind Drury and Bertrand then he is "out to lunch". Bertrand has gone right off the boil and Drury should be at left-back with Lappin on left-midfield. If you saw Lappin in the Arsenal match he played superbly well with excellent use of the ball particularly with some raking passes from the back. Yes it was a friendly but the guy deserves a chance ahead of some of our underperforming loanees. Personally I feel that Roeder has difficulty seeing the blindingly obvious due to his overstated view of his own ability.
  4. Some excellent posts about Roeder who clearly shows he is not up to the job. Poor tactical ability, poor man management skills and does anybody really understand the drivel he comes out with before/after match? His loan policy has blown up in his face with little team spirit and no incentive with most of the squad other than to pick up the pay packet. It is time for a change to a manager who has something to prove; who is willing to give some of the "reserves" a chance(Simon Lappin for one) and who can gain the respect of the players and supporters. Roeder manages to rub most people up the wrong way which he may get away with if he was a decent manager. As for Clark did anybody notice the ranting and raving he gave the fourth official after the first goal? It was pathetic and one wonders why he is allowed to behave like this-respect I think not.
