  1. No - I was told pre window we were monitoring the Pericard situation, and it has been suggested to me today WE are the club his agreed to join after turning down both Millwall and Swindon?
  2. Vincent Pericard. HP is good. Not impressed personally though!
  3. Absolutely correct! Paul McVeigh is an absolute waste of space - Total rubbish. His abject lack of quality and effort become more abundantly clear when on a pitch with 10 other players trying thier socks off. Llambert is nearly there - Lets just lose the McVeigh! The WLY chant should really be replaced with ''Where are you Paul McVeigh!''
  4. To be honest I expected to see a couple of loan signings through the door by now - Lamberts own choices! Maybe we are waiting to offload the Doc''s wages or maybe we really are completely and utterly broke! Would like to see a Right Winger and a Right Back myself.
  5. And Russell is doing his job properly is he? Clueless! ''Costa Colney''!
  6. No game until monday would probably mean training today? I suppose thats ok then to be out on the piss until gone 330am?
  7. Didn''t realise he was injured and not playing Monday! That confirmed?
  8. WAS STILL PLAYING POKER AT 330AM THIS MORNING AT NORWICH POKER CLUB LAMBERT WILL BE WELL IMPRESSED!
  9. If you believe what could be the team tonight we could be looking at our fourth goalkeeper within the first month of the season........... Centre half pairings: Doc/Nelson Doc/Askou Spillane/Askou Spillane/Doc Askou/Nelson More tonight???
  10. I was there yesterday and to be frank when the fourth went in I was numb with shock! The 5th/6th/7th didn''t really register and I still am struggling to comprehend the loss. BUT It is only three points - Its not a Charlton or Fulham where we were relegated humiliatingly, its just one game and three points - Nothing more. I don''t know why I''m trying to be positive, but I suppose its that or Whiskey and pills!!!
  11. Another Striker (Maric?) A Centre Half (Askou) A Right Back Then we will have a squad to challenge! Well Done Team BG!
  12. I saw McVeigh often enough when he was here previously to be able to judge thanks! I don''t think the Luton fans saw much of him either!!!!!!!!!
  13. It would be a personal nightmare to see these to players on the same teamsheet! I seriously doubt what BG is thinking about bringing back McUseless and keeping Cureton - Both has beens and not fit to wear the shirt. Aside from these two I do believe there is good reason to be positive, with the potential additions Whaley/Maric/Holt/Wiggins, I think we are only really short of a new right back! BUT I would be a lot more optimistic without Cureton/McCrap in our squad!
  14. Rich, Your optimism does you credit! I am certainly happier now than I was after the Charlton game and I do think that Gunny has made positive transfer moves in TJ/Gill/Nelson/Whaley.  I have seen very little, if anything at all, of these players but they certainly seem to address a few issues from last year, on paper. I still feel we are a couple of full backs, another midfielder and a couple of strikers from where I would like to be however! My main concern is that on the striker front we are still where we were two years ago without a half decent target man/goalscorer.  This something Roeder in particular failed to address and its something Gunny MUST sort ASAP.  Preferably before our bigger pre-season friendlies. Maybe we have found this person in Maric, who has certainly sounded promising, and it would be nice to get him on board pretty soon! In addition to Maric I beleive Alan Lee would be a good signing giving us good variety. Askou has also sounded decent and if this is the case then he should be taken on and perhaps either Dumic/Stephens should be loaned out to Lg2 until xmas. With Clingan and Russell moving on I feel another midfielder is needed, and whilst I am unhappy about losing Clingan its good riddance to Russell from me! My other concern is my two most hated Norwich players of recent years could potentially play in the same team (Cureton/McVeigh) - If this happens I may lose control............................................
  15. I have never posted before and have been happy to sit back and read the, sometimes, irate ramblings on here.  Things have chagned though after yesterday! I have the follwoing serious concerns: 1. David Marshall - Excellent shot stopper but is bereft of confidence and is scared to leave his six yard box!  I have lost count the number of times this season where we have nearly had major cock ups with his hesitancy in leaving the safe(ish) confines of six yard box! 2. Ryan Bertrand - Last season and the start of this season Excellent! Now - Rubbish!  Is it simply a lack of confidence or have we used that ability we seem to have to turn decent players into average crap in a very short time! 3. John Kennedy - See Ryan Bertrand 4. The Doc - Did Ok yesterday but was without doubt at fault for the first goal. YOU ARE SIX YARDS OUT FACING THE GOAL AND A BALL IS COMING ACCROSS YOU. Do you A. leave it or B. kick the bloody thingaway somewhere, anywhere! Note to Doc - B would be better rather than that useless piece of defending yesterday. 5. Mark Fotheringham - How can I sum Fotheringham up in one word...........It''s very difficult............USELESS is being kind! 6. Jamie Cureton - Always has been and always will be an average League One striker - one lucky season at Colchester and he returns a hero! Rubbish and not fit to wear the shirt. 7. Arturo Lupoli - Scored (Take note GR!) BUT looked so lightweight you could clow him off the ball! 8. Glen Roeder - Where the hell do I start!!! BELL IS A RIGHT MIDFIELDER YOU TOOL! For the first time I woke this morning thinking League One is on the cards! (climbs down off soapbox)
