1. Yes - but Alex says that he can''t hold the ball up to bring others in to the game - so he won''t start
2. Exactly my point - make your choice and stick with him whoever it is. This applies to other positions in the team but I''m using the right back role as an example of what appears to be wrong at the moment.
3. We have 4 potential players for the right back slot - Martin, Pinto, Wisdom and Whittaker yet still AN doesn''t seem sure who to play in that position. I believe that this illustrates exactly what''s wrong at present, if he can''t decide on a right back, which is usually a position that is nailed down by one individual, then we have big problems - and why have a choice of 4 players for that position. For what it''s worth, I think the one that started the season (Whitts) is still the best of the 4 for that position. To a lesser degree, the same applies to the left back role - Brady or Olsson or even Whitts. If these simple decisions can''t be made and kept to then what hope of a settled side with confidence and faith in each other?
4. A yes from me, I thought that the good thing about AN was his ability to get simple instructions across to his players to let hem know what he wants from them, at the moment that appears to be the last thing he is doing. Really don''t know who we should bring in though.
5. This just raised quite a chuckle from the panel on Sky Sports. Jeff Stelling mentioned the chant form the Spurs game - ''Kevin Friend - he''s one of your own'', - Le Tiss, Merson, Thompson and Nicholas then burst into hysterics. They also mentioned that the refereeing was poor but also that Spurs looked a different class to us.
6. Exactly why someone like Long would fit the bill, he''s been there and done it and would need no settling in time
7. Offloading Lafferty would also help fund bringing in Long and get another one off the books who''s clearly not going to play. I really think that as well as strengthening the back line we need a proven goal scorer - and they cost money!
8. I think the position we''re in we need to bid what it takes - within reason. We need goals to stay up and who better than him
9. He might prefer to be the main man for us though, especially with his mates Wes and Brady around. Would be an ideal alternative to what we''ve already got up front and a great replacement for Hooper
10. How about a cheeky bid for Shane Long now that Saints have got Austin. A goal scorer and can also play the lone role up front
11.

Whittaker can do a better job than Martin at right back, why is he so out of favour at the moment?
Martin has been poor for the last few games, but let''s not pretend Whittaker is not $h1t.
Whittaker may not be the long tern answer but is he really worse than Martin or indeed Wisdom at right back, with he added bonus of his attacking dimension
12. Whittaker can do a better job than Martin at right back, why is he so out of favour at the moment?
13. Now that I''ve seen the new kit for real, I''m still just as underwhelmed. Let''s hope the away kit is a better effort.
14. I doubt if he would come here even if we matched their price. Apparently he is holding on for Chelsea so that he can be the 4th choice striker there.
15. Any advice on the best way to access the Wembley area for those of us driving down (M1, A1 or North Circular off the M25)?
16. Bryan Gunn, Duncan Forbes, Alan Black, Ted MacDougall, Jimmy Bone, Robert Fleck, Malky Mackay, Paul Lambert, Alex Neil - we''re going to give them from down the road a lesson in what the Canary Scots can do.
17. Not really sure who he would replace but I don''t think our current 2 centre backs are necessarily going to be regular starters if we manage to get up. I would expect Turner, Cuellar, Miquel to probably be offloaded and so we would need to strengthen this area of the squad. If we don''t get up then this lad could be a ready made start in the Champs. Mrs. M - I reckon he may be around 1.5 million which is peanuts if we are a Prem outfit again.
18. I think Dan Burn, the young Fulham centre back would be a good addition for next season. Tall, assured and good on the ball, maybe one for the future?
