1. I know it''s great to be where we are in the league at the moment and with Leeds now firmly in our sites but isn''t this what we were all expecting (and insisting on) at the start of the season. Even after our disastrous start to the campaign are we not now just getting back to where we all thought we would and should be anyway?
2.
Around a thousand for me too (first game August 1970 v Sheffield United, won 1-0)
Spooky - this was my first match too! Also must have been to about 1,000
3. Malky and Ian Culverhouse are both good shouts but I was trying to keep it to the Prem as much as possible - which also ruled Peter The Pointer out.
4. Just thinking about the ex City players that are now either Managers or Coaches, particularly in the Prem, here is a possible team of them - not all in the Prem but most are: 1. GK- Chris Woods (Everton) 2. RB- Kevin Bond (Tottenham) 3. LB- Mark Bowen (Man City)? 4. CB- Steve Bruce (Sunderland) 5. CB- Steve Walford (Aston Villa) 6. RM- Martin O''Neill (Aston Villa) 7. CM- Gary Megson (Bolton) 8. CM- Mike Phelan (Man Utd) 9. LM- Dave Phillips (Coventry) 10. CF - Chris Sutton (Lincoln) 11. CF- Mark Robins (Barnsley) Have I missed any obvious ones??
5. I thought that Holt was unusually quiet today. He didn''t sweem to put himself about as much as usual and had very little effect in the box. Having said that, I think after the season that he has had, he is allowed the odd quiet game.
6. Yes, Smith has done well so far but is still young and learning, I would give him a breather now and see what Hughes can do with an extended run in the team - fitness permitting.
7. He doesn''t seem to offer anything to the team other than reasonable aerial ability and the big hoof. Some worrying distribution and decision making today. I think that we look much weaker at the back without Askou who must be in line as a candidate for Player of the Season.
8. He doesn''t seem to go very often these days, when he does he is fully clothed including hat and scarf, I think his ballerina days are behind him.
9. Just can''t understand why Hughes isn''t a first team regular. He keeps it simple and has class. I would even have him in the team ahead of Korey Smith.
10. Before coming on here having a go, you should learn to speak English instead of your stupid, incomprehensible Suffolk twaddle!
11. I have a big birhtday coming up on Tuesday (half century) so I think the boys owe me a good win at Leeds as an early present!
12. Just noticed that we play Carlisle again at home in the last game of the season. I wonder how important that match might turn out to be? Wouldn''t it be great if we need a result for automatic promotion in this game?
13. In my view - Iwan better in the air and Holt better on the ground, possibly better positional sense from Iwan as well, but Holt is ideal for us at this level.
14. What do you think we are going to do with Whaley? Wasn''t he meant to be the answer to our wide right problem?
15. Forster in goal and Semi back in at right back. It''s good that young Francomb has had a taste of first etam action though, another one for the future.
16. In those days back in the 70''s I can remember loving going to Carrow Road just to watch Kevin Keelan''s goalkeeping. He would make some really spectacular saves, (sometimes more spectacular than they needed to be), and was a real showman in his day. Tremendous servant to the club and must be one of our all time greats.
17. In terms of skill levels you are probably right but at this level he is just the sort of player that we need. I think the bigger issue is in finding a suitable partner for him up front who can chip in with some goals.

19. What''s veryones opinion of the Doc these days?I think that he has been immense recently, despite all of the rubbish that has been going on around him. After all the slagging off that he has received from fans over the last couple of years, I think its time to stand up for the man and the effort that he puts in to every game.I know that he is still prone to silly mistakes, such as his rugby tackle foul the other night against Charlton, but where would we be without him right now?On current form I would say that he must be in the running for Player of the Season.
