  1. row you''re an idiot. as you''ve been told many times, it''s a percentage of the profit
  2. Gunn shouldn''t have the stupidity to standing the story up. Quote from the story attributed to Gunn reads, "I have got worries about hanging onto him". Lakey is paid to ask questions.  He is employed to sell papers. Whilst he''s asked a telling question of Gunn to get the story he is looking for, Gunn should have used a bit more experience, and simply said, "We have had no interest".
  3. Bristol City have said he''s surplus to current plans this season, and are willing to loan him, although I''m sure they''d rather cash in on him.  I''m sure he''s on a decent enough wage. Always struck me as being a bit of an egotist, but none the less backed it up on the pitch, for Swansea at least. Good player to have behind the front 1, or 2.  Kind of role it looks like Hoolahan will be playing, should he stay. Worth a loan?  Spent some time at Leeds last season, but didn''t seem to do a lot.
  4. Much of muchness in this league. I''m guessing that Charlton, Leeds, S''hampton (despite -10 start), Millwall, MK Dons, are the strongest oppostion, with perhaps Huddersfield and Tranmere offering an outside challenge.  Brentford seemed strong out of the teams up from the league below.  Thoughts.....
  5. Keeping Beckford is a massive boost for them, and I''m sure he will top score in this league again, but I really can''t see why everyone thinks that Leeds are going to suddenly win the league this year.  They are no more than play-off contenders.
  6. A great difference demonstrated right here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/exeter_city/8173326.stm
  7. Do you not think this wizard act is a bit pathetic and tired, or are you mentally ill - having genuinely convinced yourself that you are some kind of wizard, probably wandering round your living room in a cloak?
  8. About £3 million we bring in I make it.  Based around £160 a head.  Never sustainable.  Clearly.....
  9. Indeed.  Then they''re off out on the town with Doncaster and Delia for a night on the sniff
  10. Come Thurs Oct 1 we might need them to hang around until the Saturday for a run-out.
  11. Despite no longer being an MP, I''m sure he''d still find a way of fleecing the public like the rest of them, and put that money into our coffers
  12. Not at all.  I understand the point about fake fans, although don''t agree that someone has to go week in week out to be considered a fan. The end of the post condemns the big 4.  But I don''t believe that any Norwich fan would not swap the sh1te situation we find ourselves in to be part of that 4.
  13. What a ridiculous post.  Wreaking of jealousy. Any ideas how many people want a season ticket for these four, and of course god forbid if someone has to actually live a few miles away from their club, say...for a stupid reason such as a job and earning a living.  Therefore if they don''t go regularly they simply cannot be a fan. You would swap league one, the under-investment in our club, the sh1te we have to watch on the pitch, for some of the big four''s action!  I would for sure.  What a stupid f*cking post.
  14. Get a f*cking grip.  The guy gets a ridiculous wage, and is always out of shape
  15. Mad mad decision.  Despite him being 5hit all season.  Two goals, four points, yeah of course not the sole reason for our demise, but even so, incredible stupidity to loan a player to a club in the same area of the table, even the same league.  Madness that has come back to bite us
  16. Out of all of NCFC''s mis-management and bad decision making over recent years, one thing stands alone for me - and that is the decision to send one of our strikers to a fellow relegation rival on loan. Cureton, who couldn''t hit a barn door now, nor for us back then, ironically scored two goals (against Preston, 1.1, and Burnley 2.1 win), which earned Barnsley four points. Had that not happened, and of course it''s easy to look back, our fate would be in our own hands this Saturday. We would probably still throw it away, however, this decision for me is above the sales of players, appointments of joker managers, ridiculous loans coming in, and our joke of a board.
  17. There''s so many fans on here that think we are a Premier League club.  They will have to get used to us being a League One club, as we wont be coming back in a hurry. We''re not even a big club in this league.  Ticket sales perhaps.  But not in history.  Certainly not recent history. This club has sold when it didn''t need to sell to survive.  Now we will have to sell.  The investment will be even less, Gunn will stay in charge, and we wont even make the play-offs in League One next season.
  18. Well said Jas. This man has clearly not worked out what has been clear for some time - that this club takes the cheapest possible option, and they didn''t come cheaper than Gunn.  They would have done it regardless.
  19. Tonight was the last chance saloon.  A lot of huff and puff early on, but no creativity, and no real threat.  Cody looked lively, Lee put himself about well, and the defence did well early on. Then Shackell decided to twice turn his back on Shane Long and was punished both times.  Otsemobor decided not to shut down both crosses that led to that, and when he did get forward as per usual stopped and retreated, and over-ran the ball on the rare occassion he did decideto continue heading forward. Clingan worked hard.  Russell was non existant.  Gow did nothing but run into players and looks far too frail to be a footballer. All in all, effort yes, but nothing to show why we deserve to stay in this league.
  20. How can Shaks be outstanding when he let Long go for both goals.  He turned his back on him on both occassions.
