1. We are getting  lesson in football.  I hope we are paying attention.
 2.
I don''t think it is all necessarily Hughton''s fault. We were wining against Palace, Cardiff etc. The players have to take responsibility too.
It was - we have had to endure a negative, defensive attitude for the last two seasons and it''s going to take us some time to rid our selves of the Hughton stain.
 3.
So it looks like we''re down, we lost to fulham. Unfortunately it was the wrong decision to replace adams with hughton. I''m afraid that is one thing that is not debatable.
Are you clueless Chris?
 4. I guess this is what you get. Two years of defensive football and we expect that to change in a week?  No wonder we are rusty and lack confidence in the final third.
 5. No complaints with the way we have played today.  The desire looks way better than in previous weeks and we are unlucky to go in 1-0 down.  More of the same in the second half and I feel confident we will score.  We just look so much better going forward and good to see some excellent balls in from the left by Olsson.  Only concern now is that Redmond may be less effective at the front now that Fulham wll sit back in the second half and therefore less chance of a counter-attack.Overall though, pleased with perfrmance and we just need to take our chances.
 6.
Nothing to lose.....boot the management team out tonight.
Agreed!  People will say there is no point in changing now but there''s also no point in keeping this management team in place.  Nothing will hange - it hasn''t for the last two years, so why would nayone think they have the ability to turn things around.  We''ve endured this sh*t for the last two years.
 7. Oh well.  Perhaps we''ll break our streak of losing against Fulham, next week.  After all it seems that this season, every team that have been having a poor run of results have benefitted when they play us.
 8.

Are Hooper and RVW the biggest waste of money spent by any Premier club on two strikers in its history?
Well, they certainly don''t look like 10-15 million quids worth thats for sure. I''d say RVW is the bigger waste.By the way I have a personally signed photo of Ricky if anyone wants it???
It''s not the strikers.... it''s the tactics.  It doesn''t matter who you have on there; if you can''t create chances for them, they will not score.
 9. Its all gone flat since Becchio came on.  Not his fault but the changes have impacted the momentum we had.  We need to rekindle the fre to push on for the final ten minutes or it''s Championship next season (IMO).  Just don''t see us getting anything at Fulham or thereafter.
 10. We are certainly on top now and outplaying them but we desperately need that goal as we are still vulnerable if they break.  COYY!
 11.

We like to do things the hard way i guess... I can''t wait for the season (and hopefully Hughtons tenure) to end.
I doubt the Board will dismiss Hughton when we go down - he got Birmingham in the playoffs the season after they went down.
I suspect you are right and we will proably need to stay up to get rid of him.
 12. In fairness, they look more up for it this half.  Perhaps they had a dressing room bust up.
 13. The commentator''s right.  Just too many are underfperforming today.  They''ve had a week to fire themselves up for this ''must win'' game and this what we get? WTF
 14.
Hoolahan is having one of those games. Redmond on soon please! Snodgrass hasn''t been great either. At least our two center mids and Hooper look up for it
Yep another group of poor performances around the pitch.  It''s a good job RVW isn''t on the pitch as I am sure he''d be the reason we are playing so badly.  :)
 15. That last passge of play was typical. We have multiple passes in and around the box without causing any danger ends with a bad ball from Hoolahan. They break and within 3 passes Vydra is one-on-one with Ruddy.
 16. Well we have been completely outplayed by a team who statrted the game below us in the league.  I''d like to think it''s a one-off but we all know it''s not and it is reflective of our away form this season. ll very but what is more concerning is that you just can''t see us improving.
 17. So despite making two defensive changes to the team, we now end up attacking ..... go figure?  Seems to be more fire out there on the pitch now.  The only thing burning the first half was this thread. [:)]
 18.

Lake District Canary is missing
He''s allegedly in Swansea at the game.Presumably as he anticipated our capitulation and figured Hughton may be in need of some "hand relief" at half time.
THAT made me laugh :)
 19. So I wonder if we will get a tactical change before the 70th minute to sort this sh*t out, or at least try to!  It is very much looking like another no-show, which is just unacceptable from a professional team.
 20.
RvW has no footballing ability at all he is absolutely shite
Along with our defence!  Shocking.
 21. Where is the drive and determination among our players?  Where is the leadership?  That just look so slack and disinterested - need soemthing to happen to raise their hackles!  Come on FFS
 22.
Is RVW even playing? lol
Same argument could be applied to most. We are too laid back and want too much time on the ball.  Just doesn''t seem to be too much energy.
 23.
20% possession and we can''t string 2 passes together...Not a great start is it?
Yeah we look a bit static when we are in possession and we are giving the ball away easily but I don''t think we were ever going to boss Swansea in the possession stats.
 24. Genuine question - Can anyone recall a tactical substitution before the 60th minute under Hughton?
 25. Well that was a boring half.  Things can only get better!
