1. 5:18pm is a bit early to start drinking isn''t it?
 2. People seem to be going for quite attacking line-ups here, remember we are playing a very good Preston team at their place, so i think playing a 4-3-1-2 system would be a bit too attacking. I''m not saying we go and park the bus infront of the goal and hope for a draw, i''m not Worthington, but we can''t just go and play gung-ho football, especially with our defence. My team would probably be:                            Marshall Otsemobor   Grounds   Leijer   Bertrand Croft         Clingan      Fozzy     Carney                      Hoolahan                         Cort I''m not entirely sure when Doc''s ban comes into effect? I think it''s immediately, but i''m not sure. Cureton has to be dropped, he just isn''t doing his job. Drury didn''t impress me on saturday, and Bertrand looked like he was starting to regain some form before he got injured. Fozzy impressed me with his second half appearance on saturday, so i''d give him a go, along with Carney who sounded excellent at Wolves, apart from aiming all of his good crosses at Cureton [:P]
 3.

Do you think that Cureton deserves a place in the starting line-up after tonight? This is a genuine question, i''m not having a go or anything, we all have our opinions on players, but i know that you are a firm supporter of Jamie. Yes he works hard and has ''yellow and green blood'', but is he really deserving of a first team place, in your opinion?
Yes I do........he defends as well you know! Until I see the missed chances, I''m not going to say too much, or spoil a superb away result. But I will say this Reckoner, we conceded 3 goals, maybe thats a valid reason for us not winning tonight.[:S]
I agree that our defence was the main problem tonight, and i''m not blaming Cureton for us not winning tonight. If you ignore the result, and ignore the state of the match when he had the chances (especially the first), then the fact is that he should have scored. But anyway, not trying to take anything away from what was a good result, well done lads [:)]
 4. Agreed, top effort from the travelling fans, how many actually were there?

 6.

It was crap.  Gunn out!  Sack the Board.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Shut up, we played well and got the draw we deserved! Better to draw than lose! Well done City thank you
I think he was being sarcastic, at least i hope he was...
 7. Unfortunatly for us he can miss many more, and will continue to miss many more until we realise that he is a poor striker and drop him.
 8.

Replace Bertrand with Lappin. After all the praise he got from Gunn last week, surely the lad deserves to be back in the team.
Lappin is not physical enough for this division. Evident last season.
He''s not good enough for this division full stop. I sympathise with him for the way he has been treated, but that doesn''t make him a good player.
 9.
no she didnt, your mother did though!
What, so his mother said that you''re a dicksplatt?
 10. The Rhino one had me in stitches, for once i can say lol when i actually did laugh out loud!
 11. Newspapers aren''t exactly the most reliable of sources though are they.
 12.

norwich have made a bid to sign porstsmouth david nugent and burley''s chris eagles. What are every1 thoughts?..
Hi Chris!!!!! This is one of the better efforts. Just the misspelling of Portsmouth, Burnely,  some capitalization and the awful text speak to tidy up and you''ll be able to take the GCSE! Good luck fella.
Burnley [:p]
 13. The Aviva Lemur is worse than Splat the Cat the Tw*t. While i''m on the subject, what relevance does Splat the Cat actually have to Norwich? I mean, Captain Canary is obvious and Aviva Lemur because of the sponsor, but what the hell is the cat for?
 14.
Hardly a tantrum. And he did celebrate when we scored the penalty. I think you are looking for trouble where this is none!!
I''m not trying to stir up anything i just thought he looked a little disgruntled, might have been because he really wanted to score, i don''t know. All i was doing was saying what i saw, and to me he looked annoyed.
 15. Anyone else notice this? First he wanted to take the penalty but Sammy took the ball off him, so he sulked. Then after he set up the 4th goal he looked annoyed for some reason. Then at full-time he ran straight down the tunnel, what was all that about? I like him as a player but he looked really detached from the team today, when we scored he didn''t celebrate with the rest of the team. Could he be on his way out?
 16. I never really rated Lappin. To me he is just a very average squad player who has a half decent left foot on him, but definitely not good enough for the first team. Didn''t really understand all the commotion when he wasn''t getting played.
 17. Anyone know if Hucks has any coaching badges? Would be good to see him back in some kind of player/coach role. As for the manager, i think Boothroyd as manager and Malky as assistant are probably the logical options. Ince wouldn''t be too bad, was a bit out of his depth at Blackburn i feel.
 18. Yep, he has quite literally lost the dressing room now.
 19.
Cash-strapped Watford, Southampton, Norwich, Charlton and Southampton are just some of the clubs who will attempt to sell players next month in an increasingly desperate attempt to cut wages.
So cash-strapped they were listed twice.
 20.
lets not forget our defence is pure 100% c*ap. we are giving penalties away for fun and getting sent off for fun why dont we just sign kevin bloody Muscat
Agreed. I think currently our defence is the weakest area of the team, despite the situation up front as well. I will sum up how well our defence has been this season by saying one thing: Doherty has been our best defender. Now, i don''t particularly rate him, but credit to him he has been good, in his own way of no nonsense defending. Kennedy has been disappointing this season for me, loses concentration too often and therefore makes mistakes. Roeder got a bit unlucky with Stefanovic because he was looking good until he got injured.  I''m not looking forwards to January when half of the team gets sent back, and we have no decent striker and half a defence.
 21. Since Roeder has come in we have undoubtedly been playing better football, but i feel that he has kind of gone about things the wrong way. Even after a year, i''m still undecided on Roeder. I appreciate how he has come in and tried to get the team playing decent football, and how he has made some good signings with limited resources, but he has made many well documented mistakes as well. His man management skills are questionable at best, and decisions during the game are, how should i put it, ''interesting''. Anyway, to my point, i think Roeder has come in and tried to win by playing ''nice'' football before the team even knows what winning feels like. In my opinion, he should have built up a team with a strong mentality and structure, who are not afraid to get their knees a bit dirty to win or even draw a game. Now i know this wouldn''t have been pretty, but it would have given the team a foundation on which to build. Once he had built up this mentality, then he could try to teach the players a better style of football. At the moment it just seems the players don''t know how to win, don''t know how to close out a game, and this is an extremely inportant part of the game. Roeder has nearly got it right, he just missed out a step, and this could be his downfall.
 22.

The Doc pushing forward down the right wing was a great sight. He showed, as he often does, that he gives everything for Norwich City. If everyone cared as much as he does then we might get somewhere.
I think he''s really come on this season, he looks a lot more assured and is hoofing a lot less, I think he may turn out to be quite important for us this year given the injuries in central defence & the effort he showed when we were pressing near the end. I was a long time critic of the Doc especially when he was partnered with Shackell, I never doubted his commitment just his abillity. Thought he was the the best of a bad bunch today. I was most impressed by Swansea today.... unfortunatly.
yeah -  great to see the doc keen to make up for his mistake for the first goal,,,completely outpaced by jason scotland,,,mind you - the worst culprit was plastic - he was outone for first goal, and awol for the other 2 - he must be dropped next game for me,,,
Personally thought that Bell was at fault for not tracking back, left Bertrand 2 on 1, but still he didn''t have a good game and Drury should probably be given a chance.
 23. Marshall - 6 - One spectacular save from a long range effort was all he really done. Couldn''t do much about the goals. Otsemobor - 7 - Put in some good low crosses into the box, linked up ok with Patty, solid performance. Bertrand - 6 - Didn''t really do much in the attacking department, did nothing of note really. Kennedy - 6 - Ok performance, handled Jason Scotland reasonably well. Doc - 7.5 - Thought he was solid today, even made some good runs down the right wing. Matty Patty - 7/5 - 7 for first half, thought he played some good through balls and made some good runs, but when he was put into centre mid in the 2nd half he was woeful. It''s clear to me that he is better on the wings. Bell - 6 - After his last performance was expecting big things, but he didn''t deliver really. Failed to track back for 2 of their goals and left Bertrand exposed. Fotheringham - 5 - Ran around a bit, tried desperately to act like a captain, but failed miserably. Clingan - 6 - Don''t really know why he was given MOM, didn''t do much for me. Played some nice triangles with other players at times, but also gave the ball away alot. Lupoli - 7 - Well taken goal and some good runs today, if he gets a few more games under his belt he could be a real weapon for us. Only bad point was that he looked a bit lightweight. Lita - 7 - Tried hard, but there was a distinct lack of service from midfield and wingers. Although, probably should have scored from a first half header. Subs: Hoolahan - 7.5 - Thought he looked really good when he came on, skinned the Swansea players easily, looked like he was the only player playing with urgency. Cureton - 5 - Done nothing of note in 20/25 minutes of football.   Overall, a game of two halves, as they say. Good passing in the first half, we just lack that penetrative ability in the final third. Once again, a completely lacklustre second half, what the hell does Roeder say to the players at half time?!
