Didn't we think that on the 26th January 2013 in the 4th Round when we were in the PL and Luton were a non league Club. 26,521 people turned up to see us get turned over 1-0. And we had Grant Holt and Harry Kane playing for us then. Perhaps Wagner had forgot that we scored 4 goals against Southampton away from home a few months ago by playing attacking football. Perhaps he has lost his bottle. The tradegy is that we had already sacrificed a possible 6 points in the previous 2 games by changing the team, following what had been an improved period for the Club. What was the point of doing that if we were not at least going to try and beat Southampton? But, we only went out with one intention yesterday, and that intention was to not lose the game.

There is a World of difference between being a supporter and somebody who has a season ticket and turns up every match just to watch the game. These people believe they are supporters just because they shell out £500 a season to be there. The problem at NCFC is that the vast majority of the crowd at Carrow Road fall into the latter category who, to their credit, will be there through thick and thin. However, they readily accept whatever happens on the football pitch whether it is good, bad or indifferent, without ever becomming emotionally involved.

Unfortunately the lack of atmosphere is all down to the demographics of Norfolk. County - Higher % than UK average of 60+ year olds. Carrow Road - Higher % than UK average football crowds of 50+ year olds. Season ticket holders - Higher % than UK average of 70+ year olds. Owners - Higher % than UK average Club owners of 80+ year olds.

Jacob Murphy is doing ok at Newcastle and there were calls last night on 606 for Godfrey to be recalled to the Everton defence as a matter of urgency. As for Dimi, McCallum, Gibson and Placheta "peaking with us" I would hate to see what they were like before they "peaked"

The lack of hope and ambition from fans shown in this thread is staggering but nevertheless understandable as it is more than likely in line with how the board will be thinking. And that is worrying on both counts. The tone of a Club comes from the top down.

Never should have bought him. Complete waste of time and can't hit a barn door from 6 yards. Yet another of the so called "experienced" signings last summer that many on here said they were exactly the type of player we needed to quickly propel back to the PL. Jesus, imagine this lot in the PL next season. Laughable. Barnes, Stacey, Batth, Duffy, Forshaw - they are all totally usless. Our recent recruitment strategy obviously has "if they're warm and breathing" as the number one priority and anything after that is regarded a bonus. Not sure why so many fans (circa 80% I believe) continue to believe, and buy into, the utter **** put out by our Club. It's tragic.

The tradegy is that Wagner couldn't wait to get him back in the team. 100 appearances for the Club and barely a handful of decent games among them and that's being generous. Our defence had improved a lot recently so why change it?

All I can say is that it looks damn cold at Cold Blow Lane and the players warming up so somebody has cameras there.
