I think a horse will win it with other horses coming 2nd and 3rd etc

Out of the 6 Clubs in the Play Off places, 5 went for it today and 1 didn't.
Being one of those 6 at start of play and with a handful of games left you really have no option but to go for it.
At this stage of the season nobody would be complaining if we had gone for it and lost.
But we didn't, Wagner lost his nerve, put the shackles on and set out for a draw.
That is why people are unhappy.

As he obviously thought we were doing ok he probably thought he didn't need to do a half time talk.

Conveniently overlooking the fact that he took us from 2nd to 17th.

Over the last 40 games there are only 7 teams with more goals conceded than us and 5 of them are the bottom 5 teams.
As far as I'm aware, all games played count in the final reckoning.

I would hate to see us when we are not solid and disorganised.
One minute of brilliance and 90+ minutes of being totally outplayed.

Held up in rear, headway 6th, in touch with leaders after 4 out, going easily but tenderly handled home straight, lost ground 3 out, stayed on and went third run-in, eyecatcher (jockey said, regarding running and riding, his instructions were to drop gelding out early, keep a good hold of gelding's head and take his time, before mounting a late challenge, adding that gelding settled well and found a nice jumping rhythm, and he had been able to make ground easily mid-race when the pace steadied up; however he made a respiratory noise towards the end of back straight, which continued on several more occasions throughout race, and had also hung badly right-handed, both facts he had reported at scales and which restricted his ability to be more vigorous in the home straight; trainer confirmed instructions and that gelding had been ridden in accordance with them; however whilst acknowledging gelding had hung-right handed, he did express concerns over the manner in which gelding was ridden specifically from jumping last hurdle; trainer also reiterated that he had emphasised to rider that he needed to be held together for as long as possible based on his analysis of gelding's run at Exeter two starts back, where he didn't get home for a different yard; 40-day ban: failed to achieve best possible placing; matter referred to BHA) (op 7/1 tchd 10/1)
The owner is an F A Clegg - he bought the horse a month or so before the race and at the same time moved it to a different Trainer.
It has been moved again since that race.
The horse has run 18 times, never won but has been placed third 3 times including the above..
As a consequence, it's Handicap mark had dropped 14lb (i.e. a stone) prior to that race.

We've fallen apart. We'll get nowt from this game.

We only have ourselves to blame. He definitely lifted his leg, made contact and he has previous.
Easy decision for the ref

When a 20 percenter thinks it's a good result.
And that is why the 80% are right.

To be fair, Rowe was conspicuous by his absence even when he came on
-
But the point is, we are not playing OUT from the back quick enough
3 or 4 minutes at a time of sideways/backwards is unecessary and tedious
We must have wasted 20 minutes of game time doing it and most of the time it got us nowhere

Should never play in the same team again.
Sideways, backwards
Sideways, backwards

Surely after last night we are not that far behind Chelsea?
-
Perhaps it's only ranked 17th because it's so one sided.
-
The bottom line is that we've had far better players and far better squads who have played against Liverpool over the last, God knows how many years, and they've not done any better.

18 points over half a season is nothing.
Compared to losing to a team 98 places below you, making up 18 points is a doddle
