1. The players all left together at around 7:30.
2. Seems a few of you are able to get your phones to work inside CR. I can make calls but can never get any of the apps like Sky Sports to load during half time.
3. This thread has inspired me to try on my old blue shirt we had for our European season. Thought I would wear it to the Villa game. It seems to have shrunk an awful lot!
4. My trusty bit of paper pinned to the wall tells me: Supermembers March 11, Members March 15 and general sale March 22. Failing that, there are usually some corporate tickets available, assuming you are minted of course.
5.
Maybe he was referring to the "Jungle" that Axl Rose was singing about on all white cock-rockers Guns ''n'' Roses''s debut album "Appetite for Destruction", i.e. the urban jungle?
You missed the opportunity to use the word "seminal"
6. My avatar is a sign I saw on a rubbish bin on Bondi Beach, NSW. In typical Aussie bluntness it says "Don''t be a tosser". I chose it because I am very childish.
7. I''m in as FC Compesation. Yup it was a typo before anyone comments :(
8. Quote from Matt on Twitter: "Gutted my 6 years at Norwich City FC has come to an end been a great 6 years and have lots too look back on! Thanks to everyone involved"
9.
He''s not renowned for making good choices, though ;-)
Tee hee :)
10. Huffington Post think so: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/05/14/alex-mcleish-sacked-by-aston-villa_n_1513964.html?1336988964&ncid=edlinkusaolp00000008
11. A 30 second bit of research on the official Villa site tells me they are all sold out. Maybe I could get a job as one of those heir hunters, easy money....
12. A bit off topic but does anyone remember the letter system they used to use to give fans in the ground the half times from other matches? I''m not sure if they had them at CR but most grounds did. The programme had a list of letters next to games, for example: A = Norwich v Spurs, B = Southampton v Leeds etc then somewhere behind one of the goals there would be the letters all laid out against the advertising hoarding. Someone would then go and put the half times against the relevent letter so you would end up with A31, B20 etc. Not the best system in the world but a dam fine way of selling more programmes! According to my Grandad anyway.....
13. I suppose that this will cause us to lose some Sky money. Maybe Man Utd should compensate us !
14. Not the first time this has been suggested. Stevenage were going to do exactly the same thing a few years ago in the Conference. Amist much ridicule from fans from every other club in the league the plan was scrapped. Stupid then and stupid now.
15. Cheers YB and HBBB. Not sure about you there Mungo. Bit of an unhealthy interest in the state of me budgie smugglers :)
16. The train times don''t look wonderful - 11:33 Acle to Norwich + 16:45 Norwich to Acle and the park and ride doesn''t operate on a Sunday. I''ve had a look on the official board and it seems there is no longer a coach service for fans as there has been in previous seasons. Can anyone suggest a good parking spot, possibly in the Thorpe Road/Yarmouth Road area? Sorry but I''m not local so don''t know the area that well.
17. I''m going for 1-1 and would be pretty happy with that.
18.

It''s gone 5:30 c''mon, lets be avin you
http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~2366905,00.html
Cheers for that.  "after protracted and professional negotiations" Sounds like he drove a hard bargin!
19.
They should make ALL seats two inches smaller, get loads more in then. Charge lardarses for two seats, more money for players.   Oh, and lower the seats of tall people, so we can all see........   [:D]
You work for easyJet and I claim my £5 [;)]
20.

Last time I went to Fratton Park, I had exactly the same experience - a real good bunch of fans who were a credit to their club. Last night I had to settle for watching the match in the seaside town of Swanage in Dorset, lots of Pompey fans (and many supporters from other teams) had turned up to watch the match. Again, a great bunch who were very complimentary about us, and very generous, got bought lots of drinks and I of course returned the favour - Watching the match, some of those weren''t very impressed with Hreidersson''s antics last night, seemed to have a bee in his bonnet from the off.Bottom line is that I came away thinking there''s a set of supporters that don''t deserve the nonsense they''ve had from previous owners etc - Best of luck to them in future.
Good point about Hreidersson. I''m all for competing but I wonder why he was so needlessly aggressive in a game where they had nothing to gain from winning. Seemed a really nasty piece of work. Didn''t he give the ball away which led to the move from which we scored ?
Hreidersson looked like he had wound himself up a treat. While the players were waiting in the tunnel I remember thinking how relaxed Holty looked, chatting with the mascot and smiling a lot. The Icelandic plank was the last to arrive, made his way to the front avoiding eye contact with anyone, puffing his chest out and breathing like a weightlifter about to go for the big one. Should have been back in the tunnel after 5 minutes, any other ref than D''Urso he probably would have been.
21.
Fair does, McCauley''s OG was superb
Genuine LOL at that one, on a night when I''m laughing rather a lot :)))
22. I was in the N&P for the Forest game. With 5 minutes to go two old boys started debating who was our worse player! They also seemed to think that because Lapin came on we would automatically lose.
23. Story confirmed: http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~2318271,00.html
