You can only assume the accuser in the Evans case went for him due to his being a footballer and being wealthier than the other person.
Maybe she also thought he may gave considered paying her off to avoid the bad press. Who knows her motives?
Yes,
In texts sent to her friend she said "When I get my big win, I'm going to buy a Mini and take you on holiday"
Clearly chasing the P's.

What happened to Police/CPS prosecuting without a victim?
Sure it use to happen when all the women would accuse their men of domestic violence on a Sunday morning then drop the case on a Monday evening.
Also, there's absolutely no link to this and Ched Evans IMO.

Why are we playing QPR a week later?
Sorry, this as probably been mentioned somewhere

The format was incredibly bizarre too,
Showed pre-Plymouth-Hudds build up,
Showed highlights of Plymouth/Hudds
Then showed another couple of games
Before going back for Post Plymouth/Hudds thoughts.

Again,
Absolutely crazy decision to allow him to go and for just £1 Million.
To see Onel starting and Springett on the bench, whilst shipping out Bali and Tzolis is mind blowing.
Bali also incredibly versatile for times we need players to 'do a job'

Despite being in for a tough season,
I think we'll knick this 1-0

If they can't be entertained watching football regardless of the standard, then how much of a fan are they?
I shouldn't need to tell you this, but we don't support football teams to be entertained.

5 minutes ago, TheGunnShow said:Yet you've said this on a Norwich City forum and not a Manchester City one. And the Moldovan league is hardly competitive either. Sheriff Tiraspol have won it in something like eleven of the last twelve years.
There's massive difference between supporting a football team,
And watching football as an hobby though isn't there?

Let's face it, we often said last season that the lads looked a bit unfit and a bit apathetic. These women might be technically limited, but they're going all-in and they're competing on what is probably an unprecedented stage for them. Fair play to 'em, I say.Is it?
There's a reason why on Sunday afternoons we watch the Premier League and not the Moldovan Super League.

I've been addicted since the very first Championship Manager in '92.
I flirted with some of the competitors, Ultimate Manager and Premier manager but always came back.
Recently I don't do more than one or two seasons.
Find recent versions unrealistic, valuations are all over the place.

For every Jude Bellingham there are a good handful of layers that peak at league one. Mumba might not be one of them and he might be. Not sure your clairvoyance is reliable, but I’m happy to be proven wrong and eat my words if Mumba stands out this season too. I expect he would be in the radar of bigger clubs than Plymouth if he really stood out as clearly we would accept more than 800k if offered it, especially if it was by a team not in the same division
Not sure why you're responding to this,
Unless of course you forgot to log out of SwearyCanary and back into Yobocop?

Wut? Your suggesting no player that plays in League One is good enough to play in the Championship the following season.

Thank god we never took the League One Grant Holt to Championship, or the Prem.

22 minutes ago, SwearyCanary said:I agree with this. Totally pointless keeping a player we don’t intend to use imo and although it seems very cheap I expect the Add ons may be designed to cover us to a certain extent if he were to go on to big things. Equally, we are clearly moving towards a more data driven moneyball model, which many are keen on as they’ve seen it work at Brentford. If the data says he isn’t what we need then he has to go. The one or two performances and good goals in league 1 could easily flatter to deceive as satisfying as they were to watch in a few seconds of highlights every 4 weeks. I’m not buying the claims of the keyboard warrior doom mongers on here that ‘definitely’ watched all of his games for Plymouth and knows more than all of the NCFC coaching team and its network of scouts and staff. Full of b.s. the lot of them.
the thought that he might be our saviour is far too tempting for some not to assume he definitely will be.By we, do you mean Wagner?
Cos I'd have put money on Mumba's contract lasting longer than Wagner.
And on the off chance that Wagner is successful then we'd hardly miss the pittance we've received.

Leicester have done some good business and look like that are keeping some good players too.
1. Leicester
2. Southampton
3. Boro
4. Leeds
5. Stoke
6. Norwich

Played his 2nd game last night,
And according to Flashscore,
He was the worst player on the pitch, scoring 6.3

Or maybe just a young lad who liked a little footy bet.
Betting integrity was part of my last role,
I was tasked with finding a certain up and coming centre mid from them down the road, placing a £10 football accumulator.
A ex-City player was in one of our shops during an armed robbery whilst staking £2k on a 'both teams to score bet'
A England players brother, staked £6k on him moving to Sevilla, a move that fell through.
A bunch of Czech U'18 players who staked less than a tenner between them on Czech football in their tracksuits as they were here to play England. L
In Bowls a chap walked in and backed his opponent at 1/2 because 'he had no chance of beating him' staking £40 to win £20.
One of our biggest hits was the day Venkys appointmented a new manager at Blackburn, we were hit at the same time with military precision in shops all around their head office.

Cheap compared to the £350 ticket I've just bought for next year's El Classico.

Oh look, here comes LDC telling me how I should feel.
Yes, if he had this real connection with the club, I've only seen him speak positively about us since leaving then he would understand that joining one of only two rivals would cause frustration.

I didn't say he'd let you down,
I said I feel let down by him.

Likewise, I detest Leeds United and hope they get relegated no matter who is in charge, but I feel let down by Farke, joining a side who was our biggest rivals and competitors during his time here.
Don't feel the same frustration towards Russell or Neil. I don't be begrudge Russell growing in the game and ultimately Neil is just trying to do what he did with us after we've sacked him.

Interestingly Bethnal also mentions a very 'live' outstanding sexual assault case against him, on going in South Korea.
Be interesting to see which way the moral compass lies.
