2 years ago I listened to Plymouth go one behind, before we could take advantage we were one behind. No desire, no passion, no quality and no leadership were sent to the 3rd tier on English football. The same nervousness overcame me on the first day of the following season, a home tie with Colchester, I remember the score quickly changing from 1-0 to 2-0 on Skysports News and saying to my old man, that must be wrong, must be a correction of goalscorer, within minuted we were ''live at Carrow Road'' at were 3-0 down, i felt as crushed as i had done on the final day of the previous season. Then we brought in Paul Lambert, it wasnt instant but over the course of 2 season we have brought in a work ethic, a will to win, passion desire and some bloody good football. 2 promotions have brought me close to tears tonight, I can only imagine how the people of Norwich feel, but wow, what an achievement. what a team. and if we finish 17th next season what another good acivement! In my oipinion we have beat 2 teams that have cheat QPR with there cahs and illegal transfers and Cardiff with there ''loan signings'' Wow is the only word i can say, im stille shell shocked. Nope, not one bit, I do not want to be given the league (Yes I believe QPR should be docked points and Cardiff should not be allowed to have signed Bellers, Emamnuel-Thomas, Ramsey, Bywater) meaning we were head and shoulders above them but id i dont want to be the team that was given the league. Yeah I am abit grumpy GP, Just think there are 2 many duplicate threads on here, or threads that are then links to QPR or Cardiff websites, or telling me that Durso is ref on Monday, or asking where the best place to watch the game on Monday is. And I am really missing us not playing aswell as been nervous/excited! OP- there may well be some very good players on there, but im 100% sure non of them will ever wear a City shirt. I would like to see us broaden our horizons and look a little further a field, but im confident we will play safe and stay in the UK.
