1. Nexus, you make a good point about attacking in numbers. It’s a point I’ve made before, and is fundamentally our biggest problem. We attack and defend in isolation. All too often players are ‘trapped’ in certain areas of the field by teams hunting in packs. Our play is very chaotic and at times erratic. We spend so much time playing tippy tappy football at the back. We don’t pass and move, and the opposition just waits for us to turn over possession before engaging with pack mentality. Quick swift and effective. So many teams seem to play like that, we’ve been completely worked out.

 3. RB - one that can defend. CB - one with positional sence, and pace. CM - too many Leitners, Vrancics and Trybulls... we need someone with pace and power in there, box to box, similar to Howson. ST - Rhodes is looking more average as the games pass. Basically, we need a miracle.

Doesn’t make them inferior to others, or idiots, or even Numbskulls. The superiority complex of some on here is pathetic. At the end of the day the club, both on and off the pitch, are underperforming compared with recent standards. Fans don’t like it, it’s fair enough. They pay the hard earned money to watch and are entitled to express their feelings. As I pointed out before, the general fanbase at Norwich is quite placid and incredibly tolerant. If there’s booing in the standards by a couple of hundred fans, you can guarantee it would a couple of thousand fans booing at a similarly sized club, and probably at a much earlier stage too.
Rubbish. I''ve been to plenty of away matches where the home team have been losing and you hardly ever hear booing by the home fans of their own players or team, at least until after the match. I''m inclined to agree with the op, idiots and numbskulls sums it up pretty well. And it IS counter productive - collective anger shown at a performance, is much more adult and more likely to get through to a player more than booing, which is a form of ridicule. I find that the natural reaction at bad play is to shout in anger and frustration, then to start shouting encouragement - and I know that is what a lot of people do. The booing is just puerile.
You''re talking like this booing is reflective of one or two games. Its much deeper than that, which you of course know. As per your comment about no booing at away games, that''s just stupid and irrelevant. Are you trying to suggest booing is exclusive to Norwich, just because you haven''t heard it elsewhere? Delia and co get off very lightly. There are many examples of demonstrations at other clubs in regard to ownership and running of the club that are far more vociferous than we''ll ever experience at Carrow Road.

 6. The booing and discontent is much deeper than just two home games this season, you all know that. There’s a lot wrong with the club at the minute, whilst on the pitch there is little evidence to suggest this current downward trajectory over the last 3 seasons is going to change. Last nights performance up until the first goal was awful. We appeared to have little strategy and looked chaotic in our play. Farke’s team is still demonstrating the same issues it was 12 months ago. If fans want to boo than so be it. Norwich fans are pretty decent generally, and are much more patient than most.
 7.
“I mean the fact you are questioning Pukki''s role in the team Lincoln should tell everyone all they need to know. ” This. I’ve only been to Sheffield Utd then watched tonight but from what I’ve seen Pukki’s speed, coverage of the pitch and physical presence makes the biggest difference to the team compared to last year. Hernandez too, but we had Murphy last year who had his moments so the improvement is less in his case.
Pukki was completely anonymous for the majority of last nights game, first half especially. His finish was top draw though, my point being is he better suited as the out and out striker? A postion he’s used to playing? Rhodes is decent, but can’t play every game. Perhaps with Buendia coming in, Pukki may be moved up top to rotate with Rhodes?
 8. I just hope Farke realises and plays either Godfrey or Thompson instead of Tettey. Tettey made a 3 or 4 danergous mistakes, including the one which led to Preston hitting the bar. Yes his goal was a beauty, but in another game he’d have cost us two goals. With Pukki, is he suited to the role behind Rhodes? Bar his goal, he was virtually anonymous. Hasn’t he played the last three years at Bronby as an out an out striker?
 9.
Preston have barely troubled us to be fair- two poor teams playing out a poor game.
They’re following a strategy though. Be solid and frustrate, and try to knick something. They’re doing that well.
 10. I wouldn’t say he’s looking for it. More like standing in space being afforded to him. He can’t take the ball in tight areas or further forward without a bad touch or giving it away. It’s time for him to be a bit part player and no more. We need an injection of strength and mobility, someone who can play the ball confidently forward in that position
 11. This is a really poor performance so far. Absolutely nothing in the final third.. slow, predictable sideways passing from the back 6.. Pukki has barely had a touch. We look low on confidence and devoid of ideas. It’s very alarming.
 12. Tettey is costing us time again. He can’t pass the ball forward!
 13. Defensively, we really are yes. I can’t believe I’m even suggesting this, but I think we’d benefit playing Russell Martin at centre half next to Hanley. Our defensive is full of players who don’t actually seem capable of defending. Poor in the air, over commiting and poor postional sence. I can’t believe the failure to correct this glaring obvious problem. We’re crying out for a Malky type. Zim, Klose, Pinto, Stiepermann, Marshall, Passlack (limited evidence) are not good enough defensively for the championship style of football. We need Lewis back in, but even he’s young and inconsistent. The only defender good enough is Hanley, and he has a mistake in him. In midfield we currently offer no protection. When our full backs roam neither Tettey or Leitner or Trybull, or whoever plays the CDM role covers efftively and leaves us open down the flanks. Sheff Utd exposed this time and time again yesterday. I really hope we’re able to sign another centre back and proper right back on loan. It’s a shame as we do have a some quality players. Krul Pinto Hanley Godfrey Lewis Leitner Thompson Marshall Pukki Hernandez Rhodes I think the above is the best 11 we have available. But as I said, I’d consider Martin at centre half at the minute!
 14.

Gawd there''s some tripe on here tonight. We''re three games in, the season has only just started and some of you are talking as if it''s already over. Get a grip!
Now now Lakey, let the moaning minnies have their misery wallowing, its at times like this they flood the forum with their tripe which somehow makes them feel better. For the record, i am optimistic for our season, we are not so far away now from being a side that will produce the points much more than these lot think. Farke out?...ridiculous.
Based on what? 1 point in 9, following a poor end to last season. How can you reasonably have confidence? Any sane person at least has serious doubts.
 15. It’s like Wildschut, we persisted playing him right wing back...not his natural postion. Playing for Bolton in a Ore natural attacking postion he scores two in two.
 16.
I guess, because you are talking utter bilge?
Me? Did you see the amount of chances / dangerous opportunities we shipped today?
 17.
Great offensively, suspect in his defensive responsibilities...Hanley''s stare after the winner says it all! Needs to up his game at right back. Seems to have been shoehorned into that position but needs some serious coaching judging by the last two league games.
No, needs to be played in the correct position! Right winger / attacker.
