1. The thing is though, has Shacks really got better....or have we got worse?Just a thought.
2. Giving any manager more than a one year contract is suicide at any level.   Look at Worthington and Roeder. Prime examples of long term contracts working out well. So I am afraid I disagree. Give Gunn this season, which we have, If he keeps us up, give him another year to consolidate us in the Championship. If not, then at least we don''t have to pay him off to let someone else have a go.
3. Many of us believe that we should elect to attack the River End in the first half should we win the coin toss, to enable our most prominent area of support (i.e the Barclay) to "get behind the team" in the second half.   Maybe sitting just in the River End half in the City Stand (enabling me to get a better view of our attack in the 2nd half), I''m biased, but hold on......   Two things. 1. We''ve won more games kicking towards the Barclay in the first half. FACT. 2. Hang on, they say "get behind the team", wouldn''t the Barclay be in front of them?   Just a thought.   On a second note, and possibly more bias:   What was the booing about at FT? Remember the 4-1? I thought 1-1 was deserved. Yes, we NEEDED to beat Burnley, but just because we NEEDED to doesn''t mean that the lads should be booed off for a valiant draw with promotion chasers. Not going to help, is it? And where''s the love for Wes? Best player on the park by a country mile today. HY
4. It''s okay, he''s a good finisher.....   If you don''t chuckle at the above sentence, you aren''t a Norwich fan. :P
5. NCFC: How much for Cody McDonald? Dartford: We want £80,000. NCFC: Oooh, that''s a bit much, how about a swap deal for Jamie Cureton? Dartford: Well, Cody''s goals to games record is almost 1 in 1, what''s this Cureton lad''s like? NCFC: 80k it is then!
6. A friend of mine wishes to come with me to tomorrow''s game however we need confirmation as soon as possible that it is or is not sold out, as the ticket office is closed till tomorrow, if there is anyone who can provide me with such information or to tell me where I could find it I would be grateful.   Thanks in advance.
7. People seem ignorant of the fact that despite Cody''s wonderful hattrick in that video, he did then get himself sent off for acts of blatant stupidity.
8.
When was the last time we had a target man of any quality? A few who failed. Sibs Brown Thorne Omar Koroma-tall but not really a target man, more a beautiful mover....8-) Cort-can''t see him doing anything
Dion Dublin anyone?
9. Out of interest.. Is it Ledger, as in Heath Ledger? Liar? Or Layer? As he may be joining us, I just wanted to know. Thanks in advance.
10. I''ve had enough.I may only be 14 years of age, but I have been to every home game (with the odd exception) since I was 3. I may have a short personal Norwich history to recall, but I remember midtable lows and the Bryan Hamilton out mugs.I remember the glorious promotion and Premiership season under Nigel Worthington, and the rapid demise that followed. Sacking Worthington when we did was the right choice at the time, and up until now I have defended that PRAT Roeder with the simple ethos that chopping and changing so often simply unables a team to settle in with a manager and adopt his ideals. Whilst we own most of our squad, a squad should not be based around a loanee spine, and because it is, this rubbishes the idea of chopping and changing not allowing a team to settle, what''s the point in letting them settle when they are here for a season or less?I am forever an optimist and was convinced that relegation was an impossibility, but tonight has changed all that.Tonight, cup or not, we played against a Charlton side that haven''t triumphed in 18 games. Five years ago we would have walked all over them. Tonight we were mostly outplayed and humiliated.Next Saturday I''m not going to Carrow, I''m going to a football camp, probably see more commitment there. Our club, MY club, is in dire straits, and against Forest in the City Stand a man behind me walked out just more than halfway through the match, threw his hat at Roeder, and left, not Delia Smith, not Michael Wynn-Jones, not Neil Doncaster, not Glenn Roeder, not Paul Stephenson, Adam Sadler, or any one of the Premiership rejects picking up a wage for doing sweet FA at our club could give me a reason why I shouldn''t, sitting just to the left of the home dugout as I do, throw my season ticket in Glenn Roeder''s arrogant, tactically inept face. Well done, Norwich City Football Club,You''ve disillusioned me from ever returning to what once was known as Fortress Carrow Road. HY
11. When the ball hits the net you can certainly bet ITS ARTURO!GET IN.
12. Actually, you''d be wrong there. The Coca Cola leagues are licensed in the game (the Prem is not due to EA holding exclusive rights to that licence)Sports Interactive, the company behind Football Manager, send representatives to extensively research all aspects of the licensed clubs in game, and it is this which makes it, when played properly, an accurate representation of the real thing. In fact many managers scout players using the game, and among FM discovered talents are Zoran Tosic (believed to be joining Man City), Bojan Krkic (had very good stats in the 2006 edition) and Leo Messi of Barcelona (same as Bojan but in 05), also Marek Hamsik of Napoli or Lazio (Man Utd transfer target). All these players had fantastic stats in this and last years edition of the game, so clearly the scouts at world football clubs are playing catch up to the researchers of Sports Interactive.
13. How''s that doing it on the cheap? Lita himself has said he doesn''t want to leave Reading on a permanent in January, so a loan is the only option. Roeder has made a financial offer to loan Leroy for the remainder of the season, but at the minute Reading won''t accept this. As you have NO idea whatsoever as to the value of the financial offer, you can only speculate as to whether it is on the cheap or not.
14. Lupoli would have been a better choice. But he has no pace at all either, I have no idea where you get that from.
15. Being a fourteen year old supporter (my first game was at age 3), What do you want me to do, organise a school march? :DEver considered that maybe, just maybe, if you get your way and Delia walks,No one comes in, and we are fucked?
16. I have no argument against the fact that Delia staying at this club will ruin us. I will not defend our poor overall performance since we got relegated from the Prem. However, Smudge, if you are indeed a City supporter (which city that is god only knows), your beef with Roeder is ridiculous. You clearly say he isnt getting us results, yet now you dont even WANT him to get results, so I question your support for the club, discounting those who run it.Oh and by the way,F**k!
17. I dont agree with the Delia regime,But wanting your team to lose is inexcusable.Come ON!
18. Wesley would have converted if he wasnt brought down, what a difference this 4-2-3-1 formation makes, with Wes in the hole.
19. Right mid: Good old Mark could be described as flowing forward on the attack :P
20. Right back: Keith _ _ _ _ _ _ (currently of Mansfield Town)Striker: Ian _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ teen whizkid (sic) famed for beating his man then doing f**k all in the box :)
