  1. Not being funny if he was as shrewd as some people believe he would not have come to Norwich in League One There is a reason he is no longer at Celtic and Fulham He got lucky with Lambert but it was he who was responsible for turning this club around by on the field football success not McNally behind the scenes. Lambert made this club profitable and cleared our debts getting us to the promise land McNally hired Hughton (mistake) and kept him on too long despite obvious signs (mistake) and the he commits to hiring a manager within a week and then within days both of which failed and now we hire a Radio Norfolk commentator
  2. Laughable choice, are the board now picking the team and buying players? What next? Change our kit colour to purple Sack The Board 3 year contract? That is lunacy? McNally has lost the plot, radio interview post appointment? No chance!
  3. I feel embarrassed going into work today for the first time ever Norwich are a laughing stock up and down the country No credible candidate in January then we hire a manager who made no improvements whatsoever, even an Arsenal side on the beach with an FA Cup final beat us at home Credible candidates with some young potential like Lennon, Sherwood, Mackay all had top flight experience and were hungry We take two weeks to appoint an ex local radio commentator, only difference from Gunn was that Gunny was the sherif of the city McNally said within a week, week passed McNally and Delia said within days and 2-3 days passes We are a joke, are we working on a new 7 year plan Uninspired and laughable
  4. Inspired choice by McNally They might as well employ my old cubs leader we won a 5 Aside once Sack McNally
  5. Your a disgrace with that reply, sack the board
  6. Has to be better I feel more depressed than when he was here, should of been careful for what I wished for. Sack the board, sack McNally Vote of no confidence
  7. Gross incompetence! Vote of no confidence, players will leave in numbers now Rival Championship teams must be quaking in their boots Joke!
  8. Hear we come what a joke. This club is a laughing stock. I am devastated, what the ruddy hell were they thinking? Sherwood? Lennon? McKay?
  9. It sends out wrong message if we play Elmander. We need to change it up, Becchio has proven at Championship and has never really been given opportunity under Hughton. For RVW to fire on all cylinders he needs protection up there, someone to create space for him and let him do what he does best. Same for Hooper, he cant play as the lone striker. Pilkington is class on his day, may lack consistency at times but he has the beating of anyone when on form, he proved that against Ashley Cole last season.
  10. Turner is still pony, Bassong on his day is quality as last season proved. This season he hasnt been at the races, whether its to do with injury, fitness or what. Our defence is barely Premiership standard, bordering Championship. Turner is not good enough, time and time again he proves that. You have to pick weaknesses in the team and thats ours.
  11. All need to be involved to shake that team up against West Ham. Lets shake it up, go 4-4-2 and really get at them and attack them. Becchio and RVW up front, Redmond on the right and Pilkington on the left with Fer and Howson in the middle. Ryan Bennett to replace one of the hapless duo at the back
  12. Sadly that is what we have become under Hughton and I could tell you before the game what the team and tactics are. Long gone are the days of Lambert and keeping us all on our toes. For me Hughton has to go because;- 1. Although he has brought in better places competition seems a lot worse and some positions are an automatic given. After defeat to Man City who realistically do we have to mix it up and change the team, Redmond maybe but who else really. 2. We are not winning at home, only one win against Cardiff, Southampton, Aston Villa, Everton and Chelsea - not good enough! 3. Lucciano Becchio situation is madness, striker with excellent record and constantly overlooked for Elmander who quite frankly offers nothing. 4. Tactically clueless, the pressing of our players yesterday to win ball back was non existent. Hughton losing game will simply bring like for like changes on with often worse players. I''m not anti Hughton just pro Norwich and sadly I think he has lost the dressing room and alienated players like Becchio and Hoolahan to some extent. We need to be at least 5 points ahead of bottom three going into final 4 games and sadly we won''t be with Hughton at the helm. Nice guy, bought some great players in but destroying the confidence of our players. RVW and Hooper look shot on confidence.
  13. The PRO Hughton supporters need to get in real world , didn''t hurt Southampton getting rid of Pardew
  14. Most talented squad we have had for years and best we can do tonight is play Elmander up front, in bottom three of league, can hardly score and 1 point from Hull+Cardiff. Di Matteo or MON who has unfinished business please
  15. Surely its envitable we will lose in the cup away at Man Utd and also in the league to Man City. That leaves us with 8 points in the league in 10 games, not exactly survival form. Add to that we still have to play Man Utd and Liverpool in the league. We have just 1 point against two of the promoted sides Hull and Cardiff and for me that is extremely worrying. Our home form has been poor, winning just 1 of the 5 games to date (Everton, Southampton, Cardiff, Aston Villa, Chelsea). So we have been playing well.....Arsenal for example yet we still lost 4-1. Cardiff we played well, yet we couldnt even score! When will McNally react? This could backfire enormously unless he makes a brave move soon.
  16. Was our best player first few games, got injured and not really returned since. I really like Hughton''s new system of 4-3-3 with Tettey, Fer and Howson in the middle. However, at home to Cardiff we need to attack and for me Redmond poses more of a threat. I would restore RVW if fully fit and replace Snoddy with Redmond. Redmond - Van Wolfswinkle - Pilkington (That is the most dangerous three) We play them at top we will score goals all day long and cause teams problem. Snodgrass can be impact player, like BJ he needs to be dropped and find some hunger. Lets remember Snoddy was injured at start of season as well.
  17. Another solid game yesterday, lets face it the big boys ill surely be sniffing around him come seasons end if he carries on like this Top signing and £4m is bargain of the season
  18. Really need to look at the defence for me, Martin Olsson looks solid with Bassong but Turner and Martin while ok wont take us to another level Would also like to see a strong centre forward with presence in the Giroud, Osvaldo mould which since Holts departure we lack. Sadly Elmander is not the answer
  19. Typo - left-back!!! Before someone says it, come on its early ;-)
  20.  I think Chris Hughton is somewhat confused and since his time at Bolton, Elmander has gone away to be a creative playmaker to unlock some through balls to Ricky Van Lost Puppy. Our three best attacking players for me are Snodgrass, Pilkington and Redmond and all three need to be given some freedom to attack. The role behind the striker is crying out for someone like Snodgrass with the other two on the flanks. Add Fer and Johnson to sit in front of the defence and we automatically look a lot better. Elmander - yes great in the cup against poor opposition but he at his age is not ready for a full season in the Premier League. He is not about taking us to the ''next level''. Also where is Martin Olsson, he should be first choice right-back. Big changes need to be made. Other than that then maybe Hughton could go 4-3-3 on Saturday with Hooper and Van Lost Puppy up there with someone like Redmond or Pilkington Here comes a 0-0 we''ve had no shots on target on Saturday.
  21. What a talent, i cant help think he will be a senior England international soon, gem of a signing! 19 as well - wow!
  22. Yes we did finish 11th but wake up and smell the coffee, we were favourites to get relegated with two games left and were only spared by a fluke result against a Man City team with nothing to play for. People bang on about it as if Hughton comfortably took us to mid-table. Had Wigan not endured a successful FA Cup run it could''ve been us back in the Championship.
  23. Chris Hughton is not the man, it didnt work out badly for Southampton when they got Pochettinho Act now before it gets too late
  24. Could it this happen? Chris Hughton wants more signings we all know that Fabio Quagliarella has been openly discussed and at the moment we are one striker short. Every Premier league side needs four strikers, even if it would mean that he may have to adopt two strikers up front at times. Carlo Nash - Free Nathan Redmond - £3.2m Martin Olsson - £2.5m Javier Garrido - £1m approximately Gary Hooper - £5.5m Ricky Van Wolfswinkel - £8.5m Leroy Fer - £4m If we were to add Fabio Quagliarella and Toby Alderweireld for £7m each then that would take us to around £40m for the summer. If we got those two it would simply be a different level we have moved to. Quagliarella may be 30 but he is capped 25 times by Italy. Even at 30 while there is little sell-on value he would provide goals and experience. If you averaged his fee over a few season for top flight guarenteed football he is worth every penny. Paul Lambert would have dreamed about these type of figures banded about. For me Hughton is the right man to make the ''big money'' signings and attract the bigger names.
