Just tried to book tickets on line and kept getting "no-can-do" messages. No problems with the last 2 rounds but, being Spurs, thought it may be more difficult; so I called the ticket office and was told "Season Tickets Only". Told to try again October 15th. As a Super Member I try this for every home game but have yet to have success. I thought that, for cup games, (well, League Cup), tickets were on general sale and then ST holders take the left-overs. As you know, at rounds 2 & 3 the ground was only half full. Personally (that''s me and Mrs CC) we don''t care how many go providing we can get to see out team, (we even did the Munchy Glad Bucket pre-season). Booking early gives us an opportunity for advanced prices for trains and accommodation. On October 15th we will probably have to pay full whack. As we can''t get to games regularly the £30 ticket price is not a problem. It''s within our budgets this season. But please, ST holders, can you stay away like loads of you did v Doncaster and Scunthorpe.

Managed to watch a stream on Setanta. Haven''t got a clue how.......we''ve only ''ad phones ''ere ''bout 3 weeks! Great game but could hear nothing but Celtic fans, even over-powering the commentators. So, a few questions: - 1. It looked as though they totally occupied the Jarrold. Was this the case? 2. Only managed to get to 5 home games this season but if you were there, were Celtic the loudest fans of the season? Obviously the microphones were closest to them (or were they?) 3. What sort of reception did Holt get? Were there any adverse reactions? Would love to hear your comments on: - Pacheco, Leon Barnett, The Admiral, Lansbury. Lennon came over on TV as a complete peni5. I know it was only a "fun game" but he was totally over-reacting/sulking. Finally, what a fantastic evening for a great guy. Would have loved to have been there. Great to see Hucks. Didn''t he do well!

Thanks NN. Yes, it was you who made the original suggestion of sharing and again, some really good ideas in your post today. Thanks so much for all your help. -
A few weeks ago I posted on here about my efforts, as a Super Member living in Cornwall, to get tickets on line for the Liverpool game. I got some fantastic advice (on email and pm) from several posters so today I tried to put the ideas into action for the Villa game. No luck. I think it was sold out within 20 minutes. Among the many responses offering help last time were several that suggested SHARING a season ticket. My home to Carrow Road is an 800 mile round trip so it wouldn''t be financially viable to attend every home game. Can anyone advise me if it is "allowable" to share a season ticket and, if so, how should I go about it?

Thank you City 1st and that is exactly what has happened. I have received some excellent support and advice via personal emails that should help me in my quest. Thanks to all who have responded. -
This morning at 08:55 I called the ticket office and also tried to log in to Online Ticketing. Ticket office not open; Online ticketing not yet showing the Liverpool game. At 09:00 I called the ticket office and was told that the phone queue was full. Online ticketing told me that there was heavy traffic and not to navigate away from the page. Tried the phone every 5 minutes and never even got in the queue. When I eventually got on the Online Ticketing site at 11:00 I was told the Liverpool game was sold out. I am a Super Member. Can anyone please give me some advice on queue-jumping, cheating, bribing, anything! Would love a season ticket but the cost of travel from Cornwall makes it impossible to attend regularly, although we have managed 5 home games this year. Super Membership is no longer worth it if it doesn''t work, or maybe there are just too many Super Members now. If the answer is to wait until we expand the ground, then so be it, but are there any "tricks" on how to get through FIRST? Actually, with hindsight, and maybe partly answering my own question here, I did manage to get tickets for Wolves after 3 hours of trying so it''s related to demand.

Cody, Oli, Doc, etc. We have all chanted their names over the past couple of seasons. Take a look at this team in 3-5-2 Spillane, Nelson, Doherty Cory Smith, Hughes, Russell, Lansbury, McNamee Oli Johnson, Cody McDonald No keeper? (How about Droppalottashotts. Nah! He only played once, didn''t he?) Apart from Cory they have all moved on........................and we rarely hear about them. Unfortunately they are out of our league now, literally! What a great move from Lambert. Just shows how far on we have moved. I still look out for them every week but as Norwich R Us says, do we really care? Biggest surprise to me is Lansbury. I thought he would be knocking on the 1st team door at Arsenal. (They''ll probably be knocking on his door after last night!). I think he has only had 8 first team appearances at W Ham this season. "ANTHONY----MCNAMEE. YOU LOOK "VERY" GOOD TO ME!"----Remember? Now we can''t even get Capello on the phone!

On the day they became available to Super Members, phoned at 9am. The phone queue was full so told to call back. Kept trying all day. Eventually told at 11am there were only single seat, restricted view left and to call back on Friday when tickets were on general sale. On the phone at 9am Friday, told the queue was full and to call back. Tried the online ticketing and the website was oversubscribed. Tried both all morning till midday. Eventually got in the phone queue at no. 93! Tried the website again and....................amazing! Tons of seats left! Chose a couple in Jarrold M block.
