1. I think this system in theory could work, IF Wes Hoolahan is played in the hole behind Holt. Why Lambert won''t give this a chance is beyond me really!
 2. The last two referees have been absolutely useless! I wouldn''t be surprised if a penalty is given against us on Saturday after a fly flies onto the pitch, pulls a hair of the leg of a  Charlton striker, who in turn goes down- all whilst the ball is up the other end of the pitch for a Norwich corner!!
 3.

I predict a 1-0 win for Charlton, goal scored by Deon Burton, in the last minute, with his hand. Both ref and linesman will swear blind it came off of his foot.
And we have six clear penalty shouts not 1 given.
One of which the defender will physically catch the ball and throw it away. In the post match press conference referee Andy D''Urso will defend his decision by saying "from where I was standing I could have sworn it was the keeper catching the ball. The replay footage is extremely misreading and I maintain my decision was correct!"

 5.
Anyone see that cheeky wink from Dion when they switched to the studio? He''s trying to remain impartial but he knows who he''s supporting. [;)]
I saw it, made me giggle. That''s bound to be on Soccer AM Third Eye this weekend!
 6. I enjoyed the hat trick of Coldplay puns on the link to the adverts. "That''ll "put a smile on his face", he knows" all''s not lost", Chris Martin at the "speed of sound" for Norwich!" Classic stuff! He could have added the boys in ''Yellow'' instead of calling us Norwich too!
 7.
Apologies if this has already been talked about, only just heard this.
Not to worry buddy, just can''t resist the chance to be pedantic! Feel a bit guilty now.
 8. Phone call mate, its four weeks ago, he wants his news back...sorry
 9. Hoolahan and Doherty are obvious unsettled, probably out of plans, you''re right. However I think Russell played for the reserves last night purely to get another 90 minutes under his belt, he had no pre-season after all. I personally think his appearance for the reserves was to top up his match fitness, I can see him figuring in the coming weeks. Doherty however, I can''t see breaking back into the lineup, especially considering the centre backs that are currently occupying the positions have kept 3 clean sheets in the last 3 matches. Hoolahan is a funny one though, Lambert clearly feels he unsettles the team, which to be fair, when he''s on the left, he does. However I feel playing in the hole behind Holt would be ideal for him, I think he deserves a shot there, it was glaringly obvious a player like him was what we were missing Saturday against Warsaw.
 10. How about this...to the tune of Beethoven''s 5th: "Nobody cares...nobody caaaares"
 11. I''ve watched the replay about 5 times now, and I can''t see a single thing wrong. I couldn''t make out anything wrong at the match either, so it seems to me the ref has got himself some sweet revenge for Lambert''s comments early in the season. Robbed, completely robbed!
 12. On a lighter not, dunno if anyone else has posted this, but it turns out a certain imfamous Austrian wasn''t especially pleased either... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FiCasshrUM
 13. 2-0, to us of course. It won''t be pretty and it won''t be exciting, but it''ll do. Goals from Holt and McDonald
 14.
errr no It''s three out of three Wycombe, Hartlepool and Brentford - As to amnesia I''m sure someone told me what it is............... I think
Three out of four, we played and lost to Sunderland last Monday.
 15.
good appointment but will jump to a bigger club at the earliest opportunity
Much like their last boss then [;)]
 16. Fingers crossed we get Northampton away, purely for selfish reasons, I go to ''University'' there...
 17.
di you think we will sign anyone today if so who? or do you think all the action at carrow road will be players moving out! i have heard that we were looking at clive platt however that was at the pub so wouldnt believe it
We were looking at him in the pub? Don''t think this is especially constructive, we want to be looking at him on the pitch. I suppose if he can keep up with McVeigh he''ll be good for dressing room moral...
 18. I have the book sitting somewhere waiting to be read, the film was bloody fantastic!
 19. I hear Wasps have been watching and are impressed by his tackling ability. He''ll go there!
 20.
I still cant believe people are slagging off McVeigh after saturday [:O] Some of the balls he was producing were astonishingly good! After saturday I rate him more highly than wes ''runs around a bit but at the end of it does f-all'' hoolahan.
Aye, McVeigh was excellent on Saturday, he created chances, played some extremely clever balls, read the game well and most importantly covered his full back well, something Whaley did not look to sharp at last night. I''d be tempted to play McVeigh again Saturday with Lappin on the left instead of Hoolahan for the same reasons, they both read the game well and both defend. Hoolahan''s wandering alters the teams shape and leaves the full-back exposed. Personally I''d play Wes in the centre behind Holt, which is where he is most effective. Holt is definitely a shrewd piece of business, he looks like another Iwan. He always gives 100%, leads by example and is an extremely clever player. Definitely the best signing of the summer. I''m extremely impressed with Askou, that boy has a hell of a lot of class about him, his heading is phenominal- he directs his headers out as opposed to just going for distance like the Doc, and could quite easily get 10 goals this year from defence, something we haven''t really had since Malky. Hughes looked good Saturday, looks like the box to box centre midfielder we''ve been crying out for since Francis left. I don''t think Tudor-Jones is nearly as people on here are making out, I personally think he was unlucky with the own goal yesterday and shows some promise, he''s always looking for the ball and  he can pass a ball too. Not so impressed with Nelson and Gill, Nelson looked slow and unorganised against Colchester and Gill hasnt really done much to impress me at all, looked lost in the middle at times.
 21.

Id put Maric as 3rd choice behind Cody and McDonald. Id put Martin at 4th. Daley and Renton = joke Daley showed hes really not up to it tonight :(
If only we had two Cody McDonalds eh? [;)] I know what you meant though - Holt very impressive again tonight.
We could have one in goal and one up front!!
 22.
Id put Maric as 3rd choice behind Cody and McDonald. Id put Martin at 4th. Daley and Renton = joke Daley showed hes really not up to it tonight :(
Behind Cody AND McDonald? Would that make him your first and second choice? Where would you put Holt?
 23. How about The Cat as a new nickname for Cody..?
 24.
Ssssh it''s not going to happen... Smudger is going today and we all know that everytime Smudger goes they decide to pull a result out of the bag somehow... They like to keep me quiet at matches these days! So either expect a 5-0 to City, or a 2-1 victory with City coming from behind to score two goals in the last 10 mins - both goals coming from Cureton (one in off his backside followed by a penalty) to send the crowd home talking of the play-offs.
So the last few years are your fault! If they win whenever you go why don''t you go every bloody week!
