1.
Funny old business.  Four signings in one day for Norwich but the only story is still Chloe.
Silly, old fashioned, right wing moo cow....she''s takin all the limelight!!I bet Smudger is impressed by HER appointment
 2. No we''re not. Holt has been used as a target man for the past couple of seasons and has scored a lot of goals. I suppose you''d prefer Alan Lee as a "target man", who is probably shorter than Holt!!?? Maric isn''t exactly a target man either, but both of these players know how to head a ball and Holt is strong at holding the ball up. He covers a lot of ground too, so I think we''ve got a good hard working player who knows where the back of the net is and will bring other people into play.
 3. After Huckerby there won''t be many ex players coming back. But, Bellamy will come one day...when he''s got about a year''s worth of football left in him!!! Then Rob Green.
 4. Please tell me you realise this was originally a song by The Police called "Walking on the Moon"???Still, the melody works!
 5. Apologies if anyone has dug this out and posted it on this forum somewhere before, but below is a link to Grant Holt playing for Shrewsbury against Dagenham. Shows that he can do some things very well, but also highlights the slightly sketchier side!Still, I''m excited to see him at Norwichhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7blO3Ii33AI
 6. Has it all gone quiet on the Adomah front?? I for one would love to see him here. I know we''ve had a bid rejected, and there are murmurings that Watford and Blackpool are in for him too. Barnet want £500,000 apparently and in my mind that could be too much for us. I know we''re pursuing him, so let''s keep our fingers crossed! Would be a fantastic signing. Also, did Cam or anyone ever get hold of the agent regarding Maric?? Any news on that.....anyone???!!!
 7.

Still a distinct lack of pace in that squad, especially down the left.No pace, no goals.Suggestion - Albert Adomah.
http://new.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1769315/ShowPost.aspxLooks like someone has been reading your messages...
And if you paid attention you''d have noted that I was the first to suggest Adomah weeks ago.http://www.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1726940/ShowPost.aspx
I said it first...I said it first!. I''ll tell Mummy if you don''t shut up.
That picture is actually incorrect where all this is concerned, as the dummy is still in the babies mouth.
 8.

Ive tried to get my girlfriend to come watch a game at carrow road with me for ages now and after our transfer activity this summer she has now turned around and said "when are we going to watch a game" bemused by this I said why you said there wasnt anything you wanted to see! Well she said that the new signings have finally given her a team worth watching and that they looked! a talented bunch! The cheek!
Get your mum to express some milk before you go just incase you get hungry........
BITTY!
PMSL just made me spit my coffee out, Little Britain, gotta love it!!! [:D]
God, off topic I know, but Little Britain has to be the worst comedy show EVER conceived. With so much lame, barely satirical stereotyping it makes me as sick as the racist grannies!!!Also, when Walliams is on his own trying to be a guest on some comedy chat show he has to be the least funny, pretending to be gay, weird faced t*sser out there!!George Dawes = Genius creation, however.
 9.

I''d like us to sign the players you''ve mentioned too. However, I''m getting worried that we won''t get Maric now. He should come to us and try to make a name for himself in English football. But because of tax, the euro etc. he''ll be looking for high wages. Plus, Gunn said in the presser that he''s got offers from Championship clubs, along with some in Spain. I think he''ll go where the money is at. Maybe that''s why we''ve been linked with Holt and are going to splash some cash rather than pay the massive wages Maric wants? I really hope both of them sign....but can we REALLY expect that?? Seems a bridge too far for Norwich in my opinion.
I did not watch all of it, skipped to the end where he mentioned he has had "other offers" - did he really say Championship and Spanish clubs?
Yeah....bummer hey??

 11.
It''s quite simple really. He''s got one year left on his contract. If you want him you offer to renegotiate an extended contract. If you don''t really want him you sell him for as much as you can get before he becomes a Bosman freebie like Croft. Obviously Team Gunn doesn''t fancy him that much. Coyle sees something there and is willing to take a punt. Hmmm..... For the lads sake I hope Coyle is right; for City''s sake I hope Gunn is right. We''ll see. OTBC
Yeah, I wasn''t impressed with Rustys contribution last year although I don''t mind him as a player. He gets stuck in and although that may not fit in an NCFC side who want to play a "passing" game, it may work at Burnley. I would say Coyle and Co have been lookin at Stoke and wondering how a side that plays the most BORING football I''ve ever had the misfortune to witness have managed to stay in the Prem. It''s because their side is full of utter bruisers, with the odd bit of flair chucked in (Lawrence, Fuller). Maybe Coyle wants to build a similar side that is more robust and survive on nicking 1-0 results?? Russell might do ok there, seeing as though you generally have more time on the ball in the Prem. Still, I hope we accept their offer.
 12.
Yep, they are all Norwich players which is worth its weight in gold at the moment. Shame if the Lee deal is dead, as I expect it is too, but it is looking OK. I did speak with someone who wondered how we got beaten by Brighton for Dickinson. Things like that do make you wonder, but we don''t know the full story, which is actually one of the boards many faults - the shroud of secrecy. I''m glad you noticed the Chris Morris-ness of my user name - the reference to blue has got me in trouble on occasions ;) But I shall ask Mr Mesleshasmis to do nothing with my car for a while :D
What am I?? F**king Noddy??!!Brilliant

 14. I don''t think there''s anything wrong with being positive!! Yes, NCFC has been through some tough times as of late and there are plenty of people who wanna jump on the Delia/Gunn/Board bashing bandwagon. But I really can''t see what they hope to achieve, apart from making themselves look like miserable b**tards!!! In fact, I think it''s hilarious that people think they can change what''s happening at Carrow Road by setting up daft groups with about 5 people in them. We have 25,000 regularly attending fans. 5 people doesn''t even make 1% of that majority!!! But yes, complain if you want. It''s a free country! I have to say that I didn''t want Gunn as manager, only because I could see him losing his legendary status at Norwich. But I''ve met him in the past and he''s always been a really nice guy who loves this city. I also used to work under new board member Stephan Philips, before he was MD of Archant. He is a fantastic chap with good connections and a marketing background....all that to me adds up to them trying damn hard to get local business on board. Everyone was happy about McNally and I think with the signings we are seeing, there has been a swing in favour of what these guys are doing. Even among the most hardcore opposers. To be honest, I kinda agree with what you''re saying BlueJam (I also like the Chris Morris reference in your name.....4 foot car!!) Charlton and Southampton haven''t signed many people and they are losing a few of their best players too. We''ve held on to Hoolahan, although now we''re signing Wiggins from Palace I''m kinda worried that this will have Warnock (who is already a confirmed admirer) come knocking for Wes in January. As a make weight maybe?? Of course, that''s guess work, but I wonder how we''ve managed to convince them to let us buy Wiggins when he''s apparently so highly regarded. I also agree with the right back comment. Semi may be "totally focussed-bless" right now, but he''s been inconsistent for the past two seasons. We can''t afford to have passengers. I think the Lee deal is dead in the water now. Too much money wanted, but I can see us getting Holt in which would be more than decent.I''m pretty happy with the signings and they''re ALL Norwich players. That''s gotta put us in a positive frame of mind, right?? Let''s see how they do and start judging when the season really kicks in! I''ll still be singing in the Barclay.
 15. Yep, Hughes today. Whaley and Wiggins tomorrow. Good stuff!
 16. I hope Maric sees sense and realises what a good club he''d be coming to. I like the sound of him, but maybe the fact he has done so well is messing with his ego. Grant Holt would be a good signing, runs around like a mad man (by that I mean covers a lot of ground, although not with an awful lot of pace!) and has a goal ratio of about 1 in 3 at this level. Be a good physical presence up top, if he can recapture some of the early form he showed when first at Forest.
 17.
Bliney we are in for everyone. Why do we need Parry if we have whaley and hughes?
Probably because he can play on the left as well as up front. Whaley is a right sided player and Hughes plays central midfield. I don''t believe this rumour though, although his name has been linked for a while now.
 18.
Lambert just isn''t worth spending £1m+ on, i don''t think he''s capable of stepping up a level because he just isn''t mobile enough and at his age there is very little if any sell on value
God, you''re joking aren''t you??!! Rickie Lambert would totally complete our emerging squad, he would be a fantastic signing!! I''m sure you can''t have seen his goals, he is one of the best strikers of the ball in the game. I''m not kidding. Even if he does lack a bit of pace/mobility, he is a target man and his hold up play would be exactly what we need. Add Maric into the mix and select from Cody/Martin and you''ve got a fantastic strike force that I believe would do well at Championship level, let alone league one. How can you say he isn''t worth the money when he scored nearly 30 goals in the league we''re in last season?? Maybe we could send Cureton back to Rovers and get a swap deal on!!? That would work for me!

Even my Football hating Wife can see whats coming yet we all cling to the hope that things will change,we must be mad!! Sorry if this is deemed to be another negative post but i just thought it was quite funny really,an outsiders point of few and she couldn''t care less what league we are in,who we have as manager or who we have or haven''t signed.   Day 73, and still no forward...... 21.

There is no way he is good enough for the Premiership... Seriously, what are Burnley playing at????????????
Squad filling, and they don''t have too much money to play with as they''ve decided not to rip their fans off with inflated ticket prices.
This. No team can afford tired players in the Premiership. They struggled last year. Most of Russells games will be in the reserves.
Coyle is no mug.Fact is, Russell did well under Pullis at Stoke in their promotion building team where he rarely missed a match.Russell is another case like Cureton, and it occurs all too often at this club where players regularly turn to cr*p.
Totally agree with what you''re saying there Shyster. Maybe the relaxed lifestyle in Norwich drags these former players into a lull??!!! They come back, from being in promotion winning teams and winning the golden boot, seemingly thinking, "Oh good. I can chill now!!"Although, I do believe Jamie really wanted to do well for us.Why is it though, that when a former player comes back to play against his old club....he scores...or has a blinder??? These are both circumstances that regularly occur in football, it''s all psychological I reckon!
 22.

What have we become??  it is actually hard to get my head round it! But onwards and upwards i guess!
It will end in tears...... The Purist Group and I were discussing this worrying issue only last night.
Purist Group!!!!???? Give me a break. Who are you, the Adolf Hitler of NCFC message boards?? Sounds to me like you''re trying to eliminate and alienate everyone who doesn''t agree with your point of view. Attempting to formulate a master race of naieve/disgruntled City fans, who look down upon the "sheep".Whoever has joined this purist group are the sheep. Things will end badly......hopefully in a bunker
 23. There''s a thread on the Carrow Road Net forum (terrace bar) that suggests someone has seen Adomah at our ground. Don''t know how much truth is in that, but could we be seeing him and Alan Lee when the Clingan/Russell money comes through?? I''d personally be happier with James Brown over Lee, as was suggested in another thread but Alan will still sign I reckon.
 24. I think whoever is in control of live fixtures at Sky Sports is a total binner!!! I remember one season, not so long ago, where Ipswich had a inordinate amount of televised games and we had about two. It''s total nonsense and I bet you anything you like those scum bags from down the road will have a lot of coverage this season too. Especially now that they''ve got Roy Keane at the helm. Why he commands so much attention is beyond me......but I guess we reward violent behaviour in sports in the UK. Just take a look at Vinnie Jones!! He''s done alright for himself...ha ha. I seriously think Keane should consider a career as a movie "bad boy"!!
 25.

In a way it''s true. I''ve sat in three of the stands and noticed that the Jarrold is ridiculously quiet. I used to sit in there during the prem season when I went with then girlfriends dad. It was pretty dead apart from the game against Everton. Now I sit in the Barclay and it''s always rowdy!!
IT ISNT DEAD FFS, where you in the away end? quite a lot of people around me make a lot of noise, like i do, and the rest, are OAP''s
Sat in the away end for a couple of games last season. All I could hear were the opposing sides chants. The most disheartening games EVER!!!! But, during prem it was the other end entirely and apart from a few rousing choruses of "On the ball city" there was nowt much doing! Yep, I''m saying Barclay end is the place to be if you want atmosphere (lower barclay that is!)
