1. I think the point was that this guy who invaded the pitch subsequently had a scrap with some of the stewards (according to the reports). While his mates were, allegedly, fighting some other people outside the exit.I must admit to finding the sight of him hoofing it across the pitch quite funny as it happened, but there is absoutely NO need for him to start dishing out the fists afterwards.
2.
Can anyone identify our defender who was turned (too easily) by Amoebi (and this time it WAS Ameobi!) for the Newcastle goal?
hisIt was Elliot Ward. He was visibly disappointed with himself after that. Went down to his knees, with his head in his hands! Yes, he was turned way too easily. Ameobi barely moved to get in front of him, which was more concerning. However, it was a friendly and the rest of Ward''s play looked reasonably good. Reads the game well and can pass the ball out from the back effectively. I''m sure when he''s back up to full speed he''ll be a big player for us. Anyhow, it was a good run out for him. Think he played about 60-70 minutes which will help with his match sharpness for sure.
3. Ha! That was brilliant. My thoughts are that he''d had a few too many sherbets and could see we''d won the game, so he just went for it. I think the guy probably lives that side of the City and just wanted to get closer to his house [;)]
4. I agree with your points entirely Common. I singled out Crofts as I feel he will have to play an important role this season. I didn''t understand why Fox was playing in the ''holding'' position though. I would have thought that would be tailor made for Crofts. However, Fox passed the ball really well and looked a class act, but I didn''t see him breaking up play much. I think we have great options in midfield now anyway, but we really need Korey back to provide that athleticism and steel. We look hugely creative however, with Surman and Hoolahan linking up well. There were some fabulous passing moves yesterday and I think as long as we can hold on to the ball and move it quickly through midfield, teams will find it hard to break us down next year. We''ll definitely score goals anyway!
5. Yeah, Crofts impressed me today also. I thought he, Wes, Surman and R Martin deserved 8''s! Crofts played out on the right hand side of the diamond today, but was seemingly able to show up all over the pitch. Made some superb defensive headers and intelligent passes too. He''s got a great engine on him and looks to be the "winner" type of player that managers always say it''s great to have in your side. As another poster mentioned, he doesn''t do anything particularly flashy and keeps it simple. Which is often the best way!
6. Ah, Leeds fans. So fairweather! [:)] I''m sure their gates will undoubtedly improve this season now that they''ve made it to the Championship. I know quite a few people from that way (specifically Wakey!) so I don''t really have any hard feelings, but there are a select minority of the worst fans you could ever imagine. I just am dreaming about reading a couple of message boards after their invariable melt down this coming season occurs. It''s always pure comedy gold!
7.

I''m not to happy about Crainie coming here.  From what I can recall of him he wasn''t very good IMO.
I would be very happy to have him here...he would make Otsemebor look like a sunday league player
Yeah, thumbs up to that. Every time I''ve seen him play he''s looked really solid. I must say that I''ve seen him mainly on TV, but he''s one of those players that does his job very maturely for someone of his age. I''d be more than happy to have him here and we do need cover at right back, in my opinion.
8. Good post from Boyo. Too many fickle changing of opinions in football (some would say that''s the beauty of it though!) But I believe we still need another choice at right back, an out and out right winger (Dannny Green?) and a back up for Holt. I know it doesn''t fit Lamberts demographic, but a target man with champs experience (and thus potentially older) would be cracking.I''m impressed with the signings so far and certainly think we can compete for a top 6 place, however football has a funny way of kicking you while you''re down. As long as the belief and confidence is there from the very start we''ll be ok. I''m certainly not judging anyone until we are about 10-15 games in!
9. Mine showed up today! Hoo-flippin-ray and other proclamations of joy![:)]
10. I popped into the Canary Store on Monday and they told me the season tickets are being posted this week. Then again, they also told me that the end of season DVD would be released at the Norfolk Show. Apparently, that has been delayed! Anyway, good to hear the season tix are  ''potentially'' on their way (sounds similar to our final signing/s!) [;)]
11. I was massively saddened to hear this news today. I''ll never forget his legendary commentary. One of my favourite Waller-isms was heard when he was commentating on a game in which Rob Earnshaw scored. Can''t remember which one exactly, but in his customary Norfolk tone he proclaimed, "There''s Earnie, with a wonderful goal. And..oh...there he is...doing a lovely little dance in the corner"It made me laugh then and still does now. He will be missed. RIP.
12. It was reported that we were interested in him on the back of the Evening News today. But that could simply be the sports team picking up on the rumours that have been circulating on this MB and on Ruddy''s Wikipedia page. Which someone most likely altered!! [:)]
13. I paid a £50 deposit to secure my season ticket, but that was a while ago. It''s crazy, I''ve been to a lot of games over the past 9 years but have only just bought a season ticket! I always relied on people lending me theirs f they couldn''t go, or buying a ticket from the club shop/buy-back. Of course, this has become a bit easier in the past two years due to our league position! However, I jumped at the chance to get one this season and I can confirm that a deposit does have to be paid. Although, I think you''d stand little chance of gettin one now!
14. Guten Tag Morty! Wie gehts??!Nah, I can''t really speak German very well anymore, but often try with my overseas clients at work. Those being the ones who reside in Deutschland of course!Ich habe meisse vergessen! My Grandma is Austrian and my Grandad half German, so I always think if I spent a year in Germany I''d pick it up again.
15. Actually...Now I look again I can see how my original statement could have been confusing! I spoke to my housemate and even he said it would bamboozle people. I should have just said at the back of the Lower Barclay!
16.

Block D, Lower Barclay, Upper Tier! YES! Good seat. I''ll probably be standing up a lot too, just to get a better view mind!
How are you in the lower barclay, upper tier CashCasinoCrane?
Seriously? Have you never heard of an upper tier of seats? The Lower Barclay is pretty big dudes! So, what I mean by upper tier, is that rather than sitting at the front or the middle of the Lower Barclay I will be at the back. Seeing as though the seats aren''t all on the same level I thought people would understand what I meant by upper tier.....guess not!

18.

Wow! Surman! This is an absolutely great move by us. Very skilled on the ball and will hopefully be that creative and attacking type, playing on the left of the diamond and helping to drive us forward. I should think he''ll chip in with a few goals too, something we''ve sorely missed from our midfield (Although I''m a big fan, Hoolahan won''t score as many at Champ level).I don''t think he''d have cost us £1.2 Million, and I think the comment earlier about being owed money for Shackell could have some legs.To finalise: Good work!
Does seem a good signing but I wouldn''t want it to be at expense of Hoolahan - some have heard the supposedly dodgy rumour about him joining an ''unnamed Premiership Club''. Have to wait and see? Lets face it we have stacks of first team midfielders now, most of whom won''t get anywhere near a starting place. Sure we need cover as has been said before but  by my reckoning we now have ELEVEN!!! That won''t (and can''t last) - some will leave, just hope it''s not the best ones!
Hoolahan doesn''t play at the left of the diamond.
Ha! Sorry, guess I should have worded that a little better. What I mean is that Surman has proven himself at Championship level, is young and has a little Prem experience. I feel we should play him on the left of the diamond with Hoolahan in his usual role. I reckon this would give us an extra boost going forward! I''m a massive Hoolahan fan and wouldn''t want him going anywhere. When Roeder was playing Hoolahan on the left in the Championship he was largely ineffective. I think Lambert would know this and also knows how to get the best out of Wes. I would envisage Surman playing Lappins role (Laps to stay, but more as back up) and he''ll be better going forward. Plus, Surman plays centrally too so we''ll have more options.
19. Oh! I also wanted to add that if we sign Danny Green from the Daggers and get ourselves a striker, keeper and right back I''ll be happy! Totally set for the new season!

21. Who cares what time it kicks off?! We''re still gonna thrash ''em! Come on City!! (getting slightly over excited..sorry) [:$]
22. I believe it''s being released on the last day of this year''s Royal Norfolk show. I for one totally cannot wait! It''ll be brilliant to relive that season. I''ve even started editing the thing in my mind!
23. Adrian Chiles is an idiot. Besides that, he looks like a talking toby jug full of pi$$I don''t really like any of the pundits. They''re all hugely boring (I like Kammy and Ian Wright though)
24. Larry, come on now. I love your shows, especially "Curb your Enthusiasm" but is there really a necessity to keep repeating it on More 4??It reminds me of this guy who posts on the Pink Un and he''s always, like, repeating his posts....oh....wait a minute.....[:)]
