  1. He could get 90mins under his belt here instead of a headless chicken running the ball out of play, shooting when should be crossing etc, drilling a pass along the floor when it needs some height in it.
  2. This is from Transfermarkt, obviously it's not 100% fact or proof but it's reasonably accurate of what each squad is worth in monetary value. Look at how far those top 3 are from everyone else. 2 of those will get automatics.
  3. The 3 promoted sides will be in the top 6 then 3 places left up for grabs in the PO's. It's a lottery, no one would've predicted a Coventry v Luton PO final last season. Personally I don't see top 6 for us, I'm saying 10th
  4. Birmingham have done some good business, so have Bristol City and Millwall. If you was a neutral you would probably say ours looks decent Coventry beat competition from Leeds United, PSV Eindhoven, and Anderlecht. That's some going. They've done some very good business this summer Latibeaudiere, Simms, Da Silva. I think the 3 relegated prem sides will all be strong, will all finish in the top 6 no problem. You can take out a JWP, Laivia or a Gnonto but look at those squads still very very strong. Look at Leeds they lose Kristensen at RB and Drameh comes back from a loan, they lose Koch and Cresswell comes back from a loan. They lose Gnonto and they still have Sinisterra, Dan James, Harrison and Summerville as wide options. The 3 relegated sides have very large very strong squads.
  5. What's happened to Dan Barden, not heard anything about him since he returned from his last loan spell. Isn't training with the 1st team GKs. Has he left, has he got an injury.
  6. He will back here before Xmas and loaned out to someone like Maidenhead. Very surprised someone like Portsmouth would want him, still so raw.
  7. I'm not much of a Giannoulis or Mcallum fan but he's no better than those two. A good athlete and that's about it.
  8. The media shots the colours are nice, the photos for the club shop the colours are awful. Far too bright. Colours look better dulled down.
  9. You can put this one in the Fitzpatrick, McAlear, Adshead folder. Cheap worth a risk, doesn't pay off signing.
  10. You can't be overrated if nobody rates you already!
  11. Personally am pleased with what we've done so far but would imagine another 4/5 to come in. Done a lot more business than any other championship side has so far. The biggest problem for us is we need players to move on to give us a bit more room for manoeuvre to bring in a couple of star signings. Once we move on the likes of Rashica, Aarons, Omobamidele etc we might see a bit more happen.
  12. Personally think a loan will do him good. He needs a good run of games as a No9. He won't be getting ahead of Pukki or Sargent anytime soon. Needs to get a good run of games behind him ready for next season with Pukki & Hugills contracts expiring this summer.
  13. You mean leaving us with one senior out and out winger wasn't a good move. That one being awful, who 99 times out of 100 will play the wrong ball. The one who was deemed not good enough for us 2 years ago.
  14. Well to be fair he had a net spend of +8m when getting fulham promoted and -12m when getting promoted with Bournemouth.
  15. Think it's time we brought in someone with a playing style, a younger coach who plays a type of football are attacking players can thrive under. I'm afraid that's not happening any time soon under Smith. Seems a good guy but it's getting to the point players are going backwards rather than progressing. Picking lineups that's done suit the formation and what it is we're trying to achieve.
  16. Well let's see where we are going into the world Cup break. If we are off where we think we should be then he will be gone Smith out, Parker in.
  17. Going into the season with these 'wide' options was never going to work. Imagine how bad Tzolis must have looked if Hernandez is seen as a better option. We all love Onel but he's not very good unfortunately. Ramsey has been ok, not poor, not good just ok. Dowell, Sinani, Cantwell all decent footballers but when In their right position, which isn't out wide. Let's hope Rowe looks good when he's back.
  18. I still can't believe we've gone into this season with the wide options we've got. He hasn't been helped with our transfer dealings. Left us with a kid on loan from villa who's been ok. Hernandez who's awfull, I know everyone loves him but he's really not very good. Sinani, Dowell, Cantwell who all look like No10s and not wide players. Tzolis must've been absolutely awfull in training if we think these are better options.
  19. If any of that is actually true that doesn't make up how awfull his distribution has been this season. Gunn deserves a go now.
  20. He was given the nickname astronaut for a reason.
  21. Oh wait this is serious, thought it was a joke. Grow up!
  22. I'm sure 2/3 will be injured at all times. It's what we do.
  23. Derby much much much bigger club, will get paid more, better facilities, attract better players at Derby in league one than Rotherham probably can in the championship. A new exciting project at Derby. Not really a job he can turn down.
  24. If and it's a big if we get promoted. Which by the way I don't think we will how confident are you that Dean smith is the man to take this club forward. Farke got the boot for whatever reason, wasn't get enough out of his squad, because we had lost our identity. I would argue the same thing is happening now. Granted we have had a decent points haul in the last 7 games, I feel once we start playing the better sides things might become a little bit trickier for us. We are desperate for Hayden and Giannoulis back in this side, we are all pinning our hopes on the midfield looking better once Hayden is back, let's hope he can come himself fit once he is back.
