  1. Batth will be gone, Gibson unless we go up will be gone. Id expect Sorensen to get a new deal. Duffy and Hanley will be here. But Hanley won't get any more contracts here after next season. So theres probably 1 spot open for one of the young guys. More concerning is Rowe and Gunn having 12 months remaining of their contracts come this summer.
  2. Be nice to see Branthwaite and Konsa get a start in central defence. Mainoo getting a start and hopefully Madison getting a run out. And hopefully not seeing Gallagher, Chilwell and Dunk featuring who all looked well out of their depth on Saturday.
  3. Even if we finish in the top 6 and fail to go up he will be gone. The only was hes keeping his job is if he takes us up (which he won't).
  4. When I saw the title I thought 8 mins was the highlights of the season so far.
  5. Can't wait to see Onel and Fassnacht taking it in turns of imitating a professional footballer for a few weeks.
  6. Imagine thinking this coach will get us finishing in the top 6, absolutely no chance. Save It, screenshot it, book mark it, I don't care it ain't happening.
  7. McLean was awful at LB, decent at LCB but no not LB.
  8. Wouldn't suprise me to see all out of contract player let go, like summer of 2017. Ruddy, Bennett, Whittaker, Turner, Lafferty, Bassong, Mulumbu. Think I remember reading then that that saved us £7m in wages.
  9. Theres no way anyone is paying more than £1m for someone who's available for free in a matter of months.
  10. Don't think I've ever seen him run past anyone.
  11. I'm confused what everyone here is talking about, the starter of this post made a very valid point. We lost Matos because he didnt see us as being the best place to develop, it's common knowledge that Aboh is moving at the end of the season for the same reason. These aren't players that have burst on the scene in the last 6 months they've been delivering consistently for the u18s and u21s for a couple of seasons now and a club that players used to see as a club to make a name before getting a big money move isn't that at the moment. How many debuts has Wagner given to a youth player since he's been here. 1 and he's just sent him out on loan. This is a club that relies on a younger player hitting the heights and getting big money moves. Remember when we went from a regular back 4 with Lewis, Aarons and Godfrey to fielding the oldest average aged side in the division is depressing.
  12. Hes rubbish, anyone who thinks differently must watch games with his eyes closed.
  13. The lad in the academy who's just signed a deal, Myles Elliot who was in demand, supposedly Chelsea wanted him etc. I'd rather see him on the bench than Placheta. But we won't. It's the same reason Matos left last summer and why Aboh isn't signing a new deal and will move to a premier league side this summer. Was perfect opportunity vs Bristol R to have him coming off the bench but no we needed 2 GKs on the bench. The sooner Wagner goes the better for everyone else.
  14. We won't be bringing in any more strikers, that's a guarantee. Maybe a midfielder but that's it. Wouldn't be overly surprised if we don't bring anyone in.
  15. Averaging 1.4 points a game gets you a league finish of around 11th/12th. Wagner throughout his managerial career has been a streaky manager. Can put together a run of good results and then follow that up with a run of bad results. That all ends in midtable mediocrity unfortunately.
  16. Tbf the point was raised in the commentary on radio Norfolk that the pitch wasn't as bad as it looked on TV, a bit bare in patches but flat.
  17. Sorry but your view is like something from 80s/90s football, the games moved on from chucking 11 men on the pitch 4-4-2 and hope your striker/star player delivers. If you are genuinely watching our games and think this style is sustainable then I'm not sure what you're watching. Read the article and there's Alot of good points raised about how there things we were doing that if Hull would've picked up on would've punished us, which better sides will.
  18. It's probably more along the lines of you didn't understand the points he was making than anything else. Having the opinion that oh well we won is like having a 7 year old giving their opinion on a match.
  19. Hernandez is a truly awful footballer, had a half decent spell in Farkes first promotion winning season, even then he wasn't always a starter. Should've been one of the ones to have been released in the summer. Just another piece of dead wood we have the club. Not good enough, like 50% of the squad aren't. I hate this talk of passion and love of the club blah blah, I'd rather have someone playing who didn't have that but are actually good at football.
  20. And Ancelotti really liked him and used him alot, what's he ever done in the game 🤣
  21. Look at his tweets from Tuesday night, he was absolutely hammering Onel Hernandez, rightly so!
  22. He's not a scapegoat, he's just an awful player. Offers absolutely nothing, hasn't done since our first promotion season under Farke.
  23. There's is absolutely no chance of it being Frank Lampard.
  24. They sold Gunn, Bazunu & Trafford for about £40m combined in the last few season, 3 GKs who cost them next to nothing leaving without playing a senior game of football for the first team. The list is massive of players they've signed for a few hundred thousand and sold for millions. Players you dont even realise were on the books of Man City, like Douglas Luiz, Pedro Porro, Brahim Diaz, Jack Harrison etc. Whatever your opinion is on the strategy it certainly works for bringing in money for them.
