Well he looks quite sharp for Wales despite playing in 5 league games for Madrid this season. He just needs to keep himself fit, playing games and training to be a force for Wales.

Sadly neither are good enough. Hernandez has definitely put in better performances for us than placheta and popped up with the odd goal or assist. But Placheta has literally done nothing. Hernandez has 12 months left on his contract and Placheta is being linked with a move away so wouldn't be suprised to see them both gone by the end of the window.

Agree, people want new signings because its exciting. And it's boring when there's no football to watch. But how much is an upgrade on Hanley, Gibson or Omobamidele going to cost. We aren't going to spend loads on a striker when Pukki is the main man. How much will someone cost who's better than Giannoulis. Granted rashica had a poor season but we couldn't afford someone better than him and realistically he should stand out at this level. Seriously who else in this division would swap squads with us? pretty much everyone. Apart from another midfielder and possibly a no10/creative attacking player we don't need anyone else. Gunn, Krul, Byram, Aarons, Giannoulis, Mcallum, Hanley, Omobamidele, Gibson, McLean, Hayden, Sorensen, PLM, Dowell, Rashica, Sargent, Pukki, Idah is the base of a good squad. This summer we should concentrate on getting rid of the dead wood and younger guys who have 12 months remaining on their contracts, Cantwell, Hernandez, Placheta, Hugill, Soto, Sinani, Famewo, Martin etc. And loaning out some of the younger guys Barden, Mair, Mumba, Omotoye etc
