Personally I don't think Hanley/Omobamidele partnership works. Think you need the left footed CB to help you build from the back and be more progressive. Just gives you much better balance. I think we need to get Gibson back to some sort of form. He's like rusty and error prone when he's featured at back end of the season and vs Wigan.

There's not too many players in this side I'd be sad to see leave. Rashica is hardly putting in the performances to warrant a bigger/better side wanting him.

Personally I thought we wouldn't see the likes of Hugill and Hernandez play for us again. I thought we had gone past that stage. But I think Hugill will give you more of an option than Sargent. I really want Sargent to succeed here but I just can't see it happening.

If he wants a move to a better club/league he needs to be showing a lot more than he is. They may have been impressed with Aarons performance though as they were linked with him a few weeks back.

Cant go into a champ season with 3 first team CBs especially when they have the injury records they do. You need a left footed CB to give you that balance and to be able to build. Gibson is that but seems to have too many mistakes in him.

Works hard, gives his all and clearly cares but as you say no end product which would be quite useful from a winger.

Who are going to sign who's happy to play second fiddle to Pukki. Smith is a big fan of Idah and Hugill has got himself in good shape over the summer, scoring goals in pre season and gives us a completely different option from the bench. I'm more concerned with where the chances are coming from. Rashica and Sargent have to up their game a hell of alot.

It was said a while back that they already know who they want in the door if Aarons goes. A ready replacement in Byram who has played how many minutes in pre season? This was always going to be the case, if Max goes we will sign a replacement. Thought that was common knowledge.

I doubt a season worth of season tickets and casual tickets sold don't cover much. Parachute payments are not designed to give you a load of money to spend. It's to help you balance the wages of those players/staff you spent x amount on in the premier league. As our wage bill now is obviously alot higher than last time out in the championship. Don't get me wrong it does give you a little room for manoeuvre but not massively. For example if we don't go up this season expect the wage bill slashed and sales to increase rapidly.

Which was £50k more than West Ham were offering. A 3 year deal on £200k a week, that's nearly £30m and he's probably getting a few million signing on fee as well. All that for a player who is 29 so his re-sell value isn't exactly going to be sky high. As a player thats a very good signing for them, but that money is insane.

Gibson gives us so much more balance when he plays. I wouldn't worry we won't keep them 3 fit for very long anyway.
