1. Don''t know how as a Norwich fan you could be unhappy... Addresses the problem of not having any sort of a reserve league, which allows us to: -develop our young players -bring injured/suspended players back to match fitness -involve outer squad members who will (hopefully) earn some of their wages by winning us games in the competition (£10000 over win, £5000 per draw, £100000 for the cup winners) Lower league teams may feel aggrieved but it shouldn''t be such a big deal, this is a cup and doesn''t encroach on league football at all.
2. Lol, I''d have thought maybe more of an average red
3.
we probably signed him the 1st day of the window. we will announce him with 10 seconds to go before it closes. #theNorwichWay
Actually, we poached him away from under Bristol''s nose as they were about to sign him. The whole thing is a bit sordid really, ''cos then we let Liverpool get us up against a wall and rifle our pockets for another 2 million worth of clauses. Looks like the deal is done though, good signing!

5. Thanks for everything Nathan, and all the best with your career. As for us, as long as the figure is reinvested in the squad I''ll be happy.
6. Usually in response to the question "You got a match?"
7. Funny ''cos I didn''t think he was that good yesterday, a lot of his long balls were overhit. The goal flattered to deceive imho.
8. I think a lot of the problem is that by watching a certain show for a prolonged amount of time endears you to the central characters. There was always going to be adverse reactions to the format once the personalities everybody was used to were replaced. Dare I say it, but I guess that if the current guys had popularised Top Gear and now been replaced by Clarkson, Hammond and May, there would be a similar amount of negative comments about the new guys.
9.

Agreed, Besides the tv licence is good value for what you get. The best value for money television in the World, and I''ve come across many of the ''others.''
Really? You do realise that in many countries there is no fee required to own and watch television?
Yes and it shows in the quality of the programming and the quantity of the commercials
Does it? I agree that the BBC has a history of providing high quality programming and have enjoyed many of its products myself. However, there seem to a fair amount of misguided opinions about how good the BBC really is in comparison to other international television networks.

11. Surprised at the amount of ''no''s''. The guy has not shown any indication he has what it takes, at this stage of his career anyway. In fact he has shown the exact opposite. Way out of his depth.
12. Hear hear! I say we also get rid of the ridiculous term ''defenders'' as clearly the original definition of the word has connotations of military activity.
13. People keep mentioning Mbokani but I very much doubt whether he is still in the picture, if he ever was. Why do we keep getting continually linked to other strikers?
14. Don''t know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I would rather sign Pikachoo.
15. Let''s face it, there is obviously some sort of directive given to referees when it comes to awarding penalties to teams like us. No different to the last time we were in this league. We were a bit unlucky, but we are seriously lacking in the quality needed at this level. A new striker and centre-half would only scratch the surface of what we need to truly compete.
16. Might only be half time in the first game but the signs are ominous.
17. A good debate. Still not sure that I agree that the Pareto principle applies to the sporting world at all, in fact it seems a contentious issue in business, the field where it is most often utilised. My first few posts were a little brusque and dismissive though Ray- apologise for that. Good to have some healthy discussion though.
18. Ray Whilst we obviously agree generally, I can''t let some of your assertions pass without comment. It is not up to me to disprove your claims. The onus is on you, as claimant, to prove your statements. I would love to see the scientific proof of this 80 percent attitude/20 percent ability claim. Not even sure how it would be scientifically approached. This smells like American self-help guru speak, coined for an eighties t-shirt.
