1. Didn''t Trevor Howard get splinters in his bum from being substitute so often? [:D]Mind you he often scored vital goals after coming on....
2.
That famous Man U match where they rioted....I have a memory of Tommy Doc, the United manager, walking across  the Barclay goalmouth to appeal to his supporters for calm and a large chunk of concrete terracing flying out of the away section and narrowly missing him. Anyone else remember this or am I imagining it?
I was at that match (in the relative safety of the South Stand Corner). I remember Tommy Docherty coming onto the pitch, not sure about the lump of concrete. The violence was orchestrated and had obviously been planned weeks in advance. It erupted before the match had even began - to this day I believe many of those United "supporters" who came to the game had no desire to watch a football match but just wanted to cause mayhem in the name of Man Utd - tossers!
3. I''ve supported City since my very first visit to Carrow Road at the age of eight in 1970. Before that when I was really little it was Man Utd - my dad used to tell me I should support Norwich instead. Wise man my dad! [;)]
4. I do recall when all the fencing was put up (around 1978 I think) John Bond was horrified and said he hoped to see them torn down one day. They were eventually - in the week after Hillsborough.
5. 20-odd years ago I sometimes used to nip to London when City weren''t playing to watch teams like Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham as a neutral. I just turned up and paid at the gate to stand (and it wasn''t very expensive). This is impossible now of course.
6. I remember I used to stand at the back of the Barclay in the early 1980s - all that pushing and shoving but what great fun! And we used to go ballistic whenever City scored a goal! Happy days!
7. I always look forward to every season irrespective of what division we''re in - the season only finished six days ago and I''m already feeling twitchy for my "fix" of Carrow Road football! If we do well and win a few games early on it might not be too bad - a lot of Leicester fans seem to have enjoyed their experience. On the other hand if we do a Nottingham Forest and stay down for several seasons the novelty will quickly wear off and we''ll be absolutely desperate to get back into the Championship.
8. I think the minimum we are entitled to expect for a club our size playing in the third division is to at least be in contention for promotion throughout the season.
9. It feels a bit like emotional blackmail [:(]I''ll probably let them keep it simply in the hope that it will help sign some decent players - more fool me.
10. I do believe Anne Boleyn had a hand in this post!
11. I''d certainly be happy to see him at Carrow Road. Good player and a bit of a character to boot - remember the banter with the crowd when he played against us for Hull? I''m sure he''d be an asset for League One.
12. They were hiniting in the studio after the match that the referee was deliberately favouring Barca because UEFA didn''t want another all-English final, although that doesn''t explain why he sent off a Barca player!
13. Just as well it isn''t going to happen - can you imagine all the "turkey" and "bootiful" puns that the media will come up with every time Norwich is mentioned? It''s bad enough with Delia!
14. I loathe it. It has completely spoilt the look of the ground.
15. Just seen him (the Brighton manager) being interviewed on The Championship - he''s the spitting image of Bryan Gunn!!! Be interesting to see them standing side-by-side on the touchline when City play Brighton next season! [:D]
16. The 2002 version would be a good addition to our squad, but sadly he''s gone downhill rapidly - even Luton don''t seem to want him.
17.

Sorry about today chaps, you may have heard what happened to my toe. Doris is getting the brunt of my foul mood and 3 hours in a waiting room didnt help.
Did you go to the protest?
No i''ve broke my Toe!
From kicking something hard when the third goal went in yesterday?
18.
Its not over till its over! ...and I have fretted long and hard over the last few seasons...had some god awful trips on the road following the team...but I refuse to be personally beaten. Like others have said, the supporters are the club...players, managers, and boards come and go (eventually we hope!), but we remain. The one great thing and consolation after that last day of the Premiership season was being part of that fantastic City support Of course I want a great showing from the team tomorrow, and of course I hope that Plymouth do us a big favour, and for sure I''ll be bitterly disappointed if it doesn''t work out...BUT I''m not going to let the b#*tar$ds grind me down and I''m going to have a great day out at Charlton...BRING ON THE PARTY!
I''m with you 100% - let''s show the world our spirit is still solid even though our team may be down.
19. The odds are against us but plenty of teams in the past have escaped after facing similiar scenarios on the last day. There is still hope.
20.
dont need to hear...."the lads are up for it"    "we will win sunday"   " we will avoid relegation"    "blad de blah be blah"       i have had a gut full
I think that''s a little harsh. Gunn was very honest in his post-match interview on Monday.
21.
Who was in charge of the club then I ask?
Dixie I believe! I love the man but his appointment was a massive mistake.
22. The Open Day was interesting the first couple of times - seeing behind the scenes and all that - but I''m bored with it now. My son insists on going every year but this year he admits he might be tempted to give it a miss if we are relegated!
23. I think he would be up for it - it would certainly make third division football seem more palatable.
24. Ah yes - remember it well. I was there too and it is in my top ten happy memories as a Norwich supporter. Little did we know what horrors lay round the corner......
25.
As a Barnsley fan,who has a soft spot for the Canaries, ever since your victory over Bayern in the UEFA,I''d like to say I''m sorryto see you in the position you now find yourselves, there are much more deserving candidates IMO,even though you seem to hammer us every time we meet!God knows what will happen on Sunday, with our tendency to concede late goals we''re at least as nervous about it as you are, you''ll understand if I don''t wish you good luck,as I think we need more than our own share, but whatever happens all the best for next season, whichever divisions we find ourselves in
Thanks mate!At least you know that whatever happens on Sunday, Norwich and Barnsley will be in different divisions so we won''t be able to give you your annual thrashing! [:D]
