1. I do wonder if it was Steve Bruce. He may have one eye on settling down in Norfolk - players who join NCFC are always saying what a nice area it is to live in and perhaps Brucie has always planned to return one day.
2.

I''d rather get fitter and play golf, £360 is a full years green fee at a Club!!! Or shall I carry on watching crap while eating my burger or meat pie and paying £3 each for it. Sitting on a plastic seat with my feet frost bitten, thinking why do I always come here? 3 seasons of crap, how much more can we bear! cheers
Ah but 5-2 against Wolves? 2-0 against Ipswich? There are still magic moments sometimes. And bring sandwiches instead of paying all that money for a burger! ;-)
Two matches, what about the rest. I was trying to stay awake during the Charlton league game.
At least we won!!!

4. Glad to see that other people agree with me about the addiction of going to Carrow Road! It''s definitely like a drug! For those who talk about giving up their season tickets: what will you do on Saturday afternoons instead? You could end up hanging around in Dorothy Perkins while the missus tries on 100 different outfits, or watching Soccer Saturday with Jeff Stelling making feeble jokes about Hartlepool! I know where I''d rather be!!!!
5. It''s an intriguing prospect. My heart says he might find a way to come back, but my head says it''s unlikely. But my head''s been wrong before!
6. I''ll be renewing my season ticket - League One or not. I love matchday at Carrow Road and life would be unthinkable without it. And I''ve never had a prawn sandwich in my life!
7. Yes - I think the board has been sensible in giving him only to the end of the season rather than commit themselves to another long term contract. This way, both parties can part amicably in May if it doesn''t work out and Gunn can remain a City legend. Crook is a good choice too and it''s nice to see Dixie back.
8. Ye Gods - how am I going to concentrate at work with all this going on?
9. If it''s Dowie, so be it. We simply have to get behind him and hope for the best. It''s worth remembering that he wasn''t exactly a disaster at QPR - his sacking there was a bit of a surprise at the time.
10. I''ve just looked at EDP24 and there''s no mention of Ince taking over, just that Jimmy Calderwood is unlikely to come. However I''d be reasonably happy with Ince - he did well on limited resources at Macclesfield and MK Dons so the City job  might suit him. If he does take over we have to get behind him.
11. Many thanks for your generous offer to become our manager for free Mr Mourinho but we''ve already lined up Hartlepool''s reserve team manager.
12. To be honest, I think it will be virtually impossible to pick a manager acceptable to EVERY supporter. Does such a person exist?
13. Great news - although we''ve had  a £5000 bid for that 36 year old Bournemouth striker turned down, we''re now going to spend the money on refurbishing the boardroom.
14. I''m fairly sure it was 3-1 - I believe all the goals in the match were own goals.
15. As I remember it, he had a bust up with Sir Arthur South after an infamous 3-1 home to defeat to Everton!
16. The more I think about this, the less sense it makes. Why on earth would the board be prepared to pay 400k in compensation for the services of a man whom they must surely know would be an unpopular appointment when there are so many candidates freely available? Are they really that crazy?
17.
If getting Worthington back was plan A, getting Grant back might be plan B, I don''t want to even consider who plan C might be!
Wonder if John Bond or Ron Saunders fancy a last fling in the hot seat?
18. Yesterday my son and I were discussing possible contenders and we joked about bringing Worthington back. We had a laugh, thinking it couldn''t possibly happen - and lo and behold, we find the board was actually seriously considering the possibility!!!!! Words fail me - I thought I''d seen everything in football! Obviously Worthy did well for us at first but after the events leading to his departure, to bring him back would be madness. Do the board want a repeat of the Worthington Out chants a few months down the line?
19. I read in Ossie''s autobiography that his last game of his loan spell should have been away to Everton in December 1976 but the match was postponed because of an icy pitch after City had already travelled to Goodison Park. Apparently Ossie was left stranded at Goodison Park after John Bond told the coach driver to leave for home without him!
20.
Yay, 5-2 another wolves 5-2 related thread! 5-2is wolverhampton 5-2 is in east anglia? 5-2 however, 5-2 i wish him well and hope he 5-2 gets the transfer away from 5-2 the molinwho fairly soon 5-2, just so our youth product doesn''t 5-2 dirty himself too much. oh we8.... 5-2
lol
