1. My favourite NCFC kits were the 81-84 pin-strip look, the 84-86 one they won the Milk Cup in, and best of all the classic 2002 play-off final shirt. The UEFA Cup one was awful, and I never liked the 1976-1981 Admiral kit. I felt it looked too poofy!
2. A few months ago there was talk of changing City''s badge but it didn''t seem a very popular idea and the idea appears to have been quietly dropped. I''m probably in the minority but personally I''d love to see the club revert to the old style badge - ie the one worn on the 1959 and 1972 shirts. I just think it looks nicer, and it''s worth noting that at least two other clubs (Tottenham and Portsmouth) have reverted to more traditional badges on their shirts in recent years. But as I say I''ll probably get shouted down....
3. Global my ar*e!!! They''re from Norwich and should be proud of it! [;)]
4. I just don''t understand why they changed the name - are they ashamed of Norwich or summat? It really brassed me off! [:@]
5.
I hope them words come back to bite him in the a***
He wasn''t having a go at Norwich, just explaining what Preston''s mentality will be. If we play like we did at Wolves then they might get a surprise!
6. What about people who leave five minutes from the end, even when the match is a thrilling one and/or delicately poised? I just cannot understand that. It''s like switching a film off before the end! I''m sure there are quite a few people around who curse their stupidity at leaving before the end of City v Middlesbrough in 2005 when City were 4-1 down with ten minutes to go - yet still they do it!!!!
7. I agree about the referee - a ''home'' ref if ever there was one. Every little thing going Spain''s way, although they are the better side anyway.
8. Doesn''t surprise me at all that he''s a cult fav up there - they like players who get stuck in.
9. England are being pretty much outclassed - but I can never take friendly internationals seriously.
10. He''s a player you either love or hate - and I loved him. He always gave 110 per cent. Mind you there were a few people in row Z who used to cower in fear at being hit by one of his misdirected passes!!!
11. Have been to four away games so far this season - can''t afford too many because my son comes with me as well. At least Championship prices are generally cheaper than in the Premiership where they are quite ridiculous, especially at clubs like Chelsea.
12. I''ve just checked, and it was Bobby Bell although he only played three games. Apparently Millwall were annoyed that their neighbours Palace had lent a player to one of their promotion rivals!I do remember in the late 70s there were a number of players (John Ryan was one) who left Norwich to join American clubs but were then lent back to City during the American close season.
13.
......have loans been a part of our transfer system? Just wondered where it all began. Also who the hell was Norwich''s first ever loan signing ?
I think it may have been Bobby Bell, signed from Palace during the latter half of the 1972 promotion season after Duncan Forbes was injured.
14.
As much as I dislike D''Useless, I can''t blame him for the penalty or sending off of Doc. Firstly the linesman gave the foul and penalty (flag across the chest), and it looked a stonewall penalty at the time. It doesn''t explain all of his other shocking decisions during the match.
I''m sorry but it never looked a stonewall penalty to me - I clearly saw the ball deviate. D''Urso should have given him the benefit of the doubt but to be fair I think he was influenced by the linesman who as I said before was too quick to put his flag up. I''m not at all surprised that the FA upheld City''s appeal - they should always give the benefit of the doubt.
15.
I''ll just be pleased when the Preston game comes around.  I''m bored to tears with hearing about bloody D''Urso regardless of what he did right or wrong. [|-)]
Just had another look at the penalty incident again and I think.....ha ha - only kidding! [:D]
16. The incident has just been chosen as "Big Decision" of the week on The Big League on Sky, and both Robbie Savage and John Salako said it was a cast-iron penalty.
17. You only had to look at the Bristol lad''s face afterwards - "Oh my God what have I done?" followed by relief when he saw that D''Urso hadn''t given it [:@]
18. It''s irrelevant who the best team was - the best team doesn''t always win but you need a good referee to make sure the right decisions are taken. I thought City were terrible in the first 15 minutes but played reasonably well after that. Bristol City aren''t a bad side either but I don''t think they would have complained about a draw.
19. Didn''t know he''d been sacked till I saw your message! Just home from work. I''m astonished - was talking to a Chelsea fan this morning and he thought Scolari would be there to the end of the season. They should never have sacked Avram Grant who had done nothing wrong.
20. I was watching from the Barclay Stand, which is admittedly at the other end of the pitch, but I had a good view of the trajectory of the ball and my first thought was "Great tackle" and I was astonished and dismayed when D''Urso got his card out.
21. In my opinion Doc should have been given the benefit of the doubt. The ball was clearly diverted and there''s no way D''Urso could be certain it was a foul. I think he was influenced by the linesman who couldn''t wait to get his flag up despite being some distance away.
22. To me, the real problem is because of the Sky money on offer the financial difference between being in the Championship and in the Premiership has become completely ridiculous. Relegation has become too financially disastrous. Look at Southampton and Charlton. Teams like Middlesbrough must be terrified the same thing will happen to them if they go down - hence the game at Chelsea the other day when they played a 9-0-1 formation in a desperate bid to snatch a point!!!
23. Ok I''ll take your word for it - but the ref must have superhuman vision to have been able to spot that! I''ve always hated the professional foul rule which results in an automatic red card - a penalty should be sufficient punishment. It ruined the game yesterday in my opinion.
24. Went down too easily? It was tantamount to being hit by a steamroller!!!!
25. Of course it''s the ref''s fault! It was a blatant penalty and if it had been given we would probably have scored and it would have been 2-2 and a priceless point. These things mostly do even out over the course of  the season but in the immediate aftermath it is human nature to get rid of frustrations by having a moan at the referee. As for the Doc sending off I don''t think anyone seeing the TV replay would be able to say one way or the other who actually got their foot to the ball to divert it from it''s path.
