1. Funnily enough the first time I was taken to the cinema in Norwich was in 1965 when I was 3 and the film was The Sound of Music. As that was probably the top film of the year the odds are that was the one you saw too - do you recall a snotty nosed three year old in the row in front of you?;-)
2. There have been a few. David Phillips took part while he was at City, as did Mick Channon. I think Justin Fashanu was on too.
3. My son pointed out to me the other day that City beat Barnsley last season the week after the Tykes famous FA Cup win at Liverpool - hopefully history will repeat itself tomorrow!
4.

We''re hardly dead and buried! We could well be out of the bottom three by Saturday night. There is no good time to go into administration - if we do it now we WILL be relegated. I personally don''t think it''s imminent.
Thats very optomistic, I hope youu are right Jim, not many people walking into Ladbrokes would put their house on it though.
Beat Coventry 1-0 (not an unreasonable possibility), and Forest lose at Reading (quite likely) and Bob''s your uncle!
If not will BG become your aunt!!
He can if he promises to give me a tenner when it''s my birthday! [;)]
5. The problem is there is so much news space to fill that reporters are forced to approach players for interviews and ask the same tired old questions and  of course get the same tired old answers just so that they will have something tangible to put in the newspapers the following day. No player is ever going to say "I''m not that bothered if we go down so won''t be giving 100 per cent"!!!!!

7.
We all get uptight and excited sometimes about the game and City, usually to the detriment of grammar and spelling (see Pennywise''s post above)but leaving two spaces between each word does make it hard to read.
I didn''t mean the odd rushed post, I meant the ones without any punctuation or capital letters whatsoever that have been seen on this board in the last day or two.
8. Compared with the dreadfully written posts elsewhere (the ones which think punctuation is an optional extra) YCs are a joy to read!!!! [;)]
9.
As I hate Covenrty with a passion (lived there for 4 years, it''s a dump), I want a Norwich win more than usual PLUS who can ever forget the season during the 80s when we were all but safe in the top division and Cov had to win their last 3 games to stay up... and they did because their opponents were already in holiday mode.
That''s something I have never forgiven Everton for, especially as they "rested" some star players [:@]I think it will be 2-1 or 1-0 Norwich.

11.
Off topic, I know, but my oddest sighting of calendars was in mid-Jan, they had about 20 Stoke City calendars in Waterstone''s in Kingston (Surrey, ie about 150 miles from Stoke)....what that was about I have no idea.
And no doubt visitors to Waterstone''s in Stoke will have been bemused by the sight of 20 Kingston Park Rangers calendars on prominent display..........[:D]
12. You''re better off with a Page Three Girl calender - you know where you are with them!! [;)]
13. Time was when a team photo hardly changed from year to year with the same faces every season - now we need two a year just to keep up!!
14. I agree about this monstrosity - it is completely out of keeping with the rest of the ground and has no architectural merit whatsoever.
15. Given our pathetic home form this season, beating Coventry is a very big if. Whatever happened to "fortress Carrow Road"? Certainly if we manage to balls up this golden opportunity to get out of the bottom three then we really will deserve to go down. It''s going to be a very tense and nervous afternoon.
16. I must admit I''m less optimistic than I was before today. I was confident we would beat Burnley, and it''s disheartening that we didn''t after having so much of the play. But I will never give up hope. However...WE MUST WIN OUR HOME GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
17. At least this time we won''t have to wait seven years before we get the chance to get promoted back!!!
18. The only time in the Barclay that everyone has stood up for the entire game since it went all-seater was for Inter Milan in the UEFA Cup as far as I can recall. I often feel much more comfortable standing than sitting, especially on very cold days!
19. That''s a difficult one. I was standing at the back of the Barclay when Justin Fashanu''s "Goal of the Season" volley crashed into the Liverpool net way back in 1980. I can still see Ray Clemence''s despairing drive in my mind''s eye! But was that the best? I''m not sure. Nedergaard''s was a beauty which had me out of my seat in raptures, and I recall Gary Holt''s piledriver at Hillsborough in City''s 5-0 win there in 2001-02.
20. We used to think Norwich were a well-run club too, years and years ago in the earlier days of the Chase regime (before it all went pear-shaped). Just three years ago we were talking about Charlton as the model we should aspire to of course! The truth is that the financial climate of football is such that (apart from maybe the top four in the Premiership) what happened to Charlton could happen to anybody, no matter how well-run they seem to be.
21. Reading Ipswich supporters comments is a bit like reading The Sun - you have a half smile on your face because you know this is utter garbage and you just have to pity the writer!
22. I don''t think one exists, although I think it would be a good idea if the club shop specially commissioned one in honour of that memorable season. Otherwise your best bet is to find someone to copy the VHS video onto a DVD.
23. I don''t think Norwich and Ipswich sharing a stadium is a possibility - the logistics of trying to decide on the location when the two clubs are 40 miles apart render it impractical. If it did happen it would be on the basis of either City or Town (or maybe someone like Cambridge) having the chance of sole tenancy.
24. Re the possibility of Premier League 2 - they''re planning to do just that in Scotland and I''m sure there will be people in this country watching with interest to see how it pans out. I think it must come, but I wouldn''t want it to be a closed shop. Smaller clubs need to have a dream and something to aim for.
